First of all I want to shout out the receptionist SHAHRUK. He is not given us consideration. We booked last night June 20, 2023. He gave us the King bed which is we requested. but when we entered the room, OMG! the smell is not really good. so we requested again to transfer another room, He said only twin bed available so we had no choice. but here we go again, we entered the room, the smell seems good but the TV is broken so the bellboy said wait 5minutes. we waited but no one came. even the WiFi so slow. we cant even play music on our phone in youtube. so we decided to check out the hotel. we stayed there like 30 minutes only, wasted our time, our money. We will not booked in this hotel if our car is not broken. We had no choice this is the only hotel near us. so guys, this is definitely not recommended. even the staff especially the receptionist he can't even smile to us. he has a gesture of being rude and arrogant.

Honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. My room smells like a toilet and is unbearable. Only 1 window opens so I cant even get the smell out easily. The wall paper all over the room is peeling and looks terrible. There are bugs in my room. Do not stay here.

we stayed there for 5nights. Rooms was large enough but had old furniture, that didn't bothere us but it can be improved. service was good and the staff cleaned our room daily. Breakfast was good. the location was the best thing about this hotel. very near to metro station and bus stops. p.s: If you are not sensitive the noise from hotel Clubs will not bother you.

This hotel rooms are not maintained. Peeling wall paper. Out dated furniture. Uncomfortable bed. Cockroaches in the room. This hotel has 3 night clubs so it's very loud in the nights and you will see a lot of Indecent females in and around the lobby area. Not a hotel for families

If it was possible to give 0 stars that’s what I’d give this place. An absolute shambolic excuse of an establishment. Not only with the customer service ridiculous but the manager managed to make an already terrible stay even worse by his uselessness. After being mid sold a terrible and spending an hour going back and forth with receptionists and manager, I was told there’s nothing that can be done about the terrible rooms and we would just have to stay there. Regardless of allergies, regardless of miscommunication, regardless of customer well being. For this hotel to have been rated 4 stars is a joke. You’re literally better off staying at premier inn. I’d never recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I personally would never be visiting there again. After paying 30 aed for parking even after checking in as a hotel guest. If you hate peace of mind, comfort and good customer service then this is the perfect place for your trip.

Rooms were big but smelly... their service is very poor and they charge for everything including extra glass and plates.. they don't have ice cube machine on property and charge 10 aed for that.. they dont have coffee machine in room, neither they have microwave in property. I have stayed in many hotels and from 3 stars to 7 stars.. this hotel is definitely not upto 4 star mark.. we booked 2 rooms together and ended up getting both on different floors... and room was smelly too... They told us next day we will get room on same floor as other but No response whatsoever. LOUD MUSIC TILL LATE NIGHT PAST 12 AM WAS VERY INCONVENIENT AND ANNOYING. they dont wash utensils with soap and housekeeping wont vaccum floor or refill toiletries until requested specifically... very poor experience.. not going back.

Horrible rooms, hygiene was honestly terrible. In our first room the pillows and blankets had stains on them, after spotting a cockroach on the wall they thankfully did change our room. Unfortunately in our second room we spotted another cockroach, in the hallway as well. There was sone water leaking in the second room as well. Outside of our room (fifth floor) there was a lingering smell of sigarettes during our entire stay. Our first room had a balcony which was very nice. Our second room didn’t have a balcony, but it had a nicer view. The only problem was that the main window (in the middle) was broken and waiting to be repaired. It was closed off, so we couldn’t really enjoy the view. At night you could hear some music (not sure if it was coming from the hotel or outside) but nothing too disturbing. The hotel crew was fortunately very nice and did help whenever we asked. The location was also nice, breakfast was alright too. For the price (especially in Dubai) this was a fine place to stay. But it definitely did not feel like a four star hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it here. You get what you pay for here.

The hotel was very bad. The facilities and services were not as 4 star, it was just 3 star or lower. During my stay of 5 nights, the wifi password were changed 4 times, and everything I need to beg for the new passport. The bed was with just 2 pillows, no proper lighting inside the room, bad TV connection. The floor carpet is not clean and the wall papers were bad and damaged. The showers and other furniture is very old and not up to standard.

I was there and I got an advised to do a moroccan bath at the 7th floor so they said has an great offer 1 hour massage plus one hour Moroccan bath plus face care , mini care and body care , shave all of this just 350 plus tip . Sadly the bath was the worst bath I ever had in my life . The massage was not there the face care the body and mini care wasn’t there . I did not recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a good place to relax and get a good bath

As a regular traveller I will suggest this hotel if you just want to spend night. Because with family I don't think you will enjoy the time... therebis hotel parking but they charge extra 30 AED for parking, breakfast was average, room service was not up to mark. Same as gym and swimming pool. I am honestly giving review as in past I have been there in better hotels in almost same price.

I explicitly write this low star review to make sure my review gets read by whoever manages the hotel. I flew from Tehran/Iran to Dubai and stayed in this hotel while I was in Dubai. And the lady whose name was Taraneh introduced herself as my "tour leader", although never did I book a tour or anything and I bought my flight ticket and hotel separately and nothing called "tour" booked from my side. During my stay I asked her about Wild Wadi and she said the ticket with lunch included costs me 310 AED and she said I need to get a cab to get there from my pocket. And later on I saw a tourist section guy in the hotel who has a desk for Dubai tourist attractions and he said he can get me Wild Wadi for 220 AED (of course without lunch, but did I need lunch? No) and even if I want a cab he said he can get me more affordable cab for only 50 AED so in total 270 AED and he said he can get me there right away if I want to save time. So as someone who does not have enough time, he gave me a great option not only time wise, but also money wise. However, when Taraneh, "tour guide" lady saw I'm getting my Wild Wadi ticket from the tourist section guy, she yelled at the the tourist section guy saying that "all Iranians coming to this hotel are from her and he should stop giving them the tour options like Wild Wadi!" But why? People should have "freedom" and choices. We should not oblige people to buy tickets only from you when someone else is giving better option money wise and time wise. I just want to thank the tourist guy who gave me a great option to visit Wild Wadi and for hotel manager, let guests have more options so they choose their best choice.

I was booked in the Hotel for a 2 night stay over in dubai, its location is very convenient for the Airport. The staff are excellent, from the front desk staff, management and breakfast staff so friendly. The room was very big and the sheets are clean, the maintenance could do with some improvements. I was overall happy with my stay and I would stay here again. Thank you Grand Central Hotel Dubai.

The Grand Central Hotel in my recent experience could be described as decent, albeit with some noticeable drawbacks. The hotel offers an okay stay, with its key selling point being its location. Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location is undeniably convenient. Situated in proximity to a pharmacy, currency exchange services, street food vendors, and a supermarket, it offers a level of convenience for travelers who want easy access to essentials and local flavors. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is lively and bustling, reflecting the vibrancy of the city. However, where the hotel falls short is in its amenities. During my stay, I noticed that some of the facilities and furnishings appeared outdated and in need of refurbishment. While the rooms are comfortable enough, they lack the modern touches and luxury amenities that you might expect from a hotel in a city like Dubai. This aspect left a bit to be desired. The service was generally satisfactory, and the staff were courteous. However, to truly stand out, some areas of improvement are needed in terms of attention to detail and responsiveness to guests' needs. In summary, the Grand Central Hotel's central location near essential services and street vendors is a plus, making it a practical choice for those seeking convenience. However, the aging amenities and room furnishings may leave guests looking for a more upscale and contemporary experience slightly underwhelmed.

Friendly staff and good service. The room didn't have any electric outlets. So if you want to charge your laptop or cell phone, you have to pull out the plug from one of the side lamps. Iron boards are only available on request, and I felt the light in the room was rather dim. The pool and gym are only accessible till 5 pm which was odd. But all in all, wasn't bad. Would recommend to anyone with a budget in mind and most things are available at walking distance.

Many friends said that the rooms have cockroaches and are dirty, but that was not the case at all. Compared to the money you pay and the area the hotel is in, it was good enough. Some people expect to have the facilities of Atlantis Hotel with this cost

The only positive note about the stay was the room. The room is big and looks decent. To start with negative the wifi is very poor and doesn't cover around the whole room in the room i stayed. This is only hotel i found till date where they charges for parking 30dhs per night under the hotel which is absurd even tho i am paying alot for the hotel. And the hotel is not that a 4 star that it charged me 15dhs tourism fees per night as the tourism fees is dependent upon the rating and star of the hotel.Idk how dubai authorities decide about the stars of the hotel i even doubt there is any inspectionof the hotel from the authorities. The worst part about the stay is the smell of the massage oil which will enter your room if ur room near it. And if you got a family and a non- drinker or non-partying guy i highly recommend you not to come here bcs at night people drink here and the smell in the lobby is very bad which is unbearable. The area itself isn't that great looks shady to me. I highly recommend not to stay here until it's highly necessary for a night and this should be ur last option to stay here.

Location is good. Near to hyper market , pharmacy, street food and metro. However hotel falls short is in its amenities. Rooms need refurbishment, wall papers are torned, lights are dim, washrooms need repair. Won’t recommend to include breakfast as its not worth eating. No taste and not much options to eat as per hotel category. So my rating to food and services is 1 star out of 5. The service was generally satisfactory, and the staff were courteous.

Sleeping in this hotel is only possible after 3am. Nearby disco makes so much noise it makes you feel like you're inside a subwoofer. Staff is nice and friendly, but it's obvious some lack of proper training.

  • 3/5 mo r. 4 months ago on Google
The hotel lobby was beautiful. The room service was poor. We stayed on the seventh floor and the sound of the disco was disturbing at night. The breakfast was poor. The rooms had a pleasant aroma.

Hotel building and rooms interior is alright but need improvement. If you're looking for a cheap option, go for it and if you're looking for luxury or comfort then opt for any other option. Staff was okay but seems like they need to improve check out process. Check in was smooth though.

It was a very nice and comfortable stay. I and my family stayed for 7 days. The rooms are big enough and always clean. The reception staff were friendly especially Samuel who is so helpful. The breakfast was tasty and has so many options. The two Filipina ladies Melanie and Espee were so social and helpful and offered us 7 star treatment. Thank you all. I will come back again. All the best.

Our stay was not that pleasant there was mishaps of the room given during check in as in our booking we clearly chose the non.smoking room. But only on the 2nd day we transferred to a Non.smoking, dont want to complain more as my husband travels 6hours and just wants to take rest so just kept quiet. And also i would not recommend if you are with kids or a couple that wants quiet stay. Very noisy, partying sound coming from their club? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈand you cannot sleep peafully not until 3AM.However, of the experienced we had we still are happy of the hotel staff. Very polite and nice.

thieves! they gave us a room with a broken bed, dirty, noisy (we could hear the disco at the bottom) impossible to sleep when we had asked for a quiet room when booking! they demanded that I pay the entire stay before check-in! after a horrible night we decided to change hotels and asked to be reimbursed! they said they would reimburse us within 10 days, it was February 14, 2022 and to date they still have not reimbursed us! and of course they do not respond to my emails and reminders! All I have to do now is file a complaint! do not go to them, in addition to being dishonest this hotel is pathetic

Overall staying are okay. Daily breakfast i really enjoyed. Mr Aslam is very good guy for accommodating us. Should improve the facilities for the rooms, some parts are not maintained.

  • 4/5 Nica S. 2 years ago on Google
I requested to have quiet room since i saw from the google reviews that the hotel had some issues with the loud music from the bar. Luckily the bar wasn’t open since its ramadan, i guess. So i was happy coz i got a nice quiet room. Only thing that needs to improve . 1. More details about cleanliness specifically bathroom. 2. Fix or change the old blow dryer 3. Dont use the bed sheets if its already torn, need to maintain the standard since hotel is 4 star. But overall i was happy with my stay, reception staff were nice.

Before to come we called to check availability of the room we needed. When we came in maybe 15-20 minutes, they said, they had no these rooms anymore and they may offer only more expensive options. Pure scam. We were so angry!
