A nice experience in this part of Dubai. The neighbourhood in general is pleasant to walk around. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. The only concern is the noise from the street as the rooms are mimicking an old-style accommodation so they are not very well-insulated. I guess this is part of the experience though. I must say, we slept well still.

What a beautiful hotel!! One of my favorites that I've ever stayed in. It felt really cozy and homey and I was very comfortable there. The setting is just amazing and the staff here from front desk to maids to restaurant are all top notch!! I was impressed all the way around. ☺️🤩 I will definitely be coming back to this hotel. The rooms are very clean and it is surrounded by the old market where you can buy anything that your heart desires. A+ and 10/10 for the staff seriously. Great job.

I really enjoy my stay even if it was during the summer. The tents along the Main Street worked quite good to save us from sun heat. The room was clean and I loved the interior. The only thing I didn’t like was the two beds connected instead of one king size bed.

We had a very bad experience as a family. We arrived at the hotel on time only to be told that the our rooms weren’t ready for check in, and were asked to wait for another hour. First the Egyptian lady - the receptionist at the desk - was so unwelcoming and kinda rude. We left for two hours and on the way back, we tried multiple times to call the hotel to ask if our rooms were ready but with no response. Anyways, I wish we didn’t come back to that hotel, as it was so disappointing! I couldn’t believe that it’s managed by Hilton, not only was the customer service so bad, the rooms were so smelly and dark, smelled of urine! What a shame because the location is nice. The management should seriously look into these issues. I would never advise anyone to stay at that hotel!

Great hotel. Beautiful view of the Dubai creek. The room was spacious with the water view. Breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of breads and made to order omelets. House keeping was excellent. Anil was very helpful. The only issue was the bathroom shower area floor was uneven due to which the water was not draining properly. I had to ask housekeeping to swipe the water to the floor drain.

Beautiful concept of having the hotel spread across the Al Seef Souq. Smooth check in process and where after a golf cart whisks you to your room. Attention to detail to keep the room and hotel premises as authentic as possible is commendable. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dubai. If i were to nitpick, I would say maybe the breakfast buffet would have been even better with a bigger spread. Lovely omelette station though. Special shout out to Suneeta who was brilliant in assisting us during check out. Excellent service and loyalty recognition by staff as one would expect from a Hilton property.

The place is awesome and the location is authentic. The rooms are small. However, the experience with receptionist was not pleasant. I am Diamond and i got no upgrade or any special treatment. If you have a Hilton status and family, the rooms are small and receptionists/manager will not give you special care. The manager seems hungry for $$$ instead of winning the business of loyal customers.

The best hotel we've stay in UAE, so far. With an old-world Arabia feels, you wouldn't think that you're within Dubai. Reception and overall service is great. Breakfast served is abundant. Accommodation is a little bit pricey but still worth the experience.

This hotel is an absolute gem amongst the countless hotel options in Dubai. Situated in the real heart of Dubai, it provides easy access to the old Dubai and new Dubai within short taxi ride. The place is well designed to emulate an olden Arabian town with great walkability and a beautiful water front feature. The rooms are really beautiful and anyone will easily fall in love with the vibe! Can absolutely recommend for a completely different yet lovely experience of Dubai

An experience like never before! Welcoming employees, extraordinary heritage-styled rooms and hospitable service in heritage style. The hotel definitely honors the culture of Old Dubai, highly recommendable to anyone who wants to experience far more than ‘just a stay-over’!

Good service, Good food, good location for sight view. I stayed room 208, it was bed because I couldn't control the temperature of air conditioner. It was only turned on and off. Moreover, bed smell was came up after turned off the air conditioner. I am not sure that another guest cannot detect this smell. But my family were wearing the mask to sleep. By the way, another room was okay because my friend stayed another room at the same day.

The space and feel of the reception is like in a youth hostel, lots of people, just one person doing the check-in, waiting times are a bit long. The rooms are nice but a bit dark (I guess the feeling is authentic). The breakfast is not good at all, and there is discoordination between the breakfast place and the reception, the reception never told us we can have breakfast at a special price (60dhs) and the breakfast place said they charge 75dhs and they don't know anything about a special price (which turned out not to be true, reception told us they could have simply called them). Basically seems like a 3 star place masquerading as a 5 star place.

Firstly from the check in the staff were awesome slick and very friendly… the rooms quirky but very trendy, the staff at breakfast faultless but unfortunately the infrastructure that is the management’s responsibility is poor. We waited an hour for basics like coffee and milk to be brought to the room that should have been there (I chased 5 times before coffee was delivered) when delivered 2 coffees and just enough milk for one coffee so my wife and I shared. The evening before a bucket of ice took an hour. Disappointing to say the least as if you want just 4 star service book somewhere else until the management get their act together and support the team who are very good.

What a great discovery, this hotel is exactly what you expect from a boutique hotel - unusual surprises, the hotel complex is very nice, great initiative to redo old houses in an old style while keeping the rooms clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of food and coffee. Perfect location to explore old city and markets. The only little negative thing was the pigeon poo on the balcony, we paid extra to have a balcony but it was not possible to use it at all as it was all covered with poo. Also the reception staff told us at checkin that the hotel does not have rooms facing the river when I asked for an upgrade which is not clearly true - a bit of shame to lie. Otherwise, wonderful experience that I highly recommend

Unique hotel, located in very beautiful authentic place in Dubai. In my personal opinion I really like this place. Very peaceful, calm vibes. Shower was not that perfect but it’s understandable when you consider the old buildings. Breakfast location was also amazing and the breakfast itself was good as well. One night / two nights stay is more than enough.

The hotel consists of 10 single-storey buildings, some overlooking Dubai Creek and others facing the inner streets. The buildings are relatively newly built, but retain the architecture of an old town. Many souvenir and clothing stores are open on the streets, as well as small restaurants or cafes. However, the whole area is very quiet and extremely safe. Breakfast is varied and consists mainly of traditional foods and can be served between 7 AM and 12 noon. The rooms are modestly arranged, a little dark, but offer all the desired comfort. But since I didn't want a luxury and modern hotel, I can't complain. It is located quite far from the area of tourist interest, more than 10 km .

I stayed at Al Seef Heritage Hotel during my layover in Dubai and was very satisfied with the overall service, location and the amenities of the hotel. The hotel was culturally designed and was surrounded by the local shops, where you could buy everything from Middle Eastern spices to perfumes and scarves. Special thanks to the staff that provided me with early check-in and I was able to have a delightful breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel to all those, who are interested to explore authentic local culture.

Amazing experience, all the furniture, appliances and even the washrooms were so unique, I was amazed that the room telephones were real! Just that there is no air-conditioning in the lobby I guess to maintain that original type of look, but service was outstanding and so was the room cleanliness. View from the first floor of the sea and the boats and the heritage seef market was serene.

This place is surely worth a shot. The experience is very different in itself as compared to other hotel and one must experience the old Dubai at this Hotel. Their service is quick and the vibe of this place is amazing. This place is a perfect blend of rustic & luxury vibes.

Amazing stay, traditional Arabic old market hotel. The amount of detail through out the property makes it a unique. Staff was very professional and polite. Great place if you love to shop and want to experience Arabic culture. Everything is walking distance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Al Seef Heritage Hotel in Dubai, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. One aspect that truly stood out was the hotel's exceptional flexibility regarding check-in and check-out times. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel kindly allowed us to check in much earlier than expected, and on the day of our departure, they extended our stay as my husband had an important online meeting. This level of accommodation and understanding made our stay stress-free and convenient. The dedication and friendliness of the room service staff were remarkable. Every member of the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. I would like to personally mention Anas and Ali, who took meticulous care of our room, ensuring it was always immaculate and inviting. Their attention to detail and warm demeanor made our stay all the more memorable. The amenities provided by the hotel were exceptional. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the necessary comforts. The vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area added an extra layer of excitement to our stay.

If you are an old world soul and love heritage properties then go here for sure coz you will love this hotel. Let’s start from the top - The location is just too good. The hotel is spread out all across Al Seef creek and you are actually inside a public space where tourists are walking around all day and evenings. - The boat (Abra) stop is right there and you can catch the ferry to see the Bur Dubai (Old Dubai area) easily. It’s damn cheap too - Access to various food eateries walking distance - Great interiors in all rooms. Everything is old world. Right from the telephones to the bathroom 🚽. But everything is made to look old. The beds are comfortable though and the ac is pretty effective - They offer you shuttle rides to reach your building. They have total ten buildings , first floor of each is the hotel and ground floors are markets - It’s a very lively place coz tourists visit here all day long. Gives you the feeling of being inside a bazaar all day. So don’t go if you hate that. - The rooms are done in a manner to give you the feel of old Dubai homes. The floor especially is the cemented/ rough kind so some ppl may not like it. - The breakfast buffet was really great in such an aesthetic restaurant owned by the hotel. It was super nice. The downside - Service is bad, I mean in terms of turnaround times. The main reception is far away from the rooms so the response to your calls is very slow. Unlike what you expect in ideal hotel scenarios. We went in summers, when the occupancy is minimum , I wonder what happens in Full season. - No swimming pool here. They offer to drive you to another nearby property to use the pool but then who would do that. It’s a time consuming process and very inefficient - There are no light blocking curtains so sleep gets affected since the lights in the markets downstairs are on till late in the night. Especially if your windows are facing the market. I liked the hotel though. But then you have to be sure if you are okay with the conditions. Most families with young kids would not find it comfortable. So research a little about this place n then book.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location within Al seef, the souk. The rooms remain very true to the architecture ( with modern amenities including TV, AC and coffee machine). The rooms are slightly small by Dubai’s standard, but it was ok for one night. Breakfast was lovely- lots of variety with an omelette station. Unfortunately service really let us down. Called several times to request removal of room service dishes and this was not done. Upon checkout we requested a buggy as our room was far away from the lobby, within the souk. We were told that the buggy was on the way but after waiting 30 minutes it still didn’t arrive. It was rather stressful as we had our return flight to catch. I tried talking to someone at the main reception but was ignored. We would have appreciated the honesty - if the buggies are not available, please just say ! It was a sad note to end our Dubai trip and a real shame considering customer service elsewhere in Dubai is outstanding. Whilst I loved the location, due to the poor customer service I wouldn’t recommend especially if you’re a young family.

Al seef heritage hotel is nestled amidst the charming embrace of Arabic traditional architecture, this hotel exudes a warm, inviting ambiance that feels just like home in the middle of a Souk. From the moment you step through its doors, you're enveloped in a sense of heritage and comfort. The design seamlessly blends historical elements with modern amenities, offering a unique experience for guests seeking both authenticity and convenience. The cozy rooms, adorned with cultural accents, evoke a sense of tranquility, while the common areas encourage relaxation and socialising and more spacious. The staff's genuine hospitality adds a personal touch, making your stay not just a visit, but a memorable journey into the heart of tradition and homeliness. We have had 5 nights stay with breakfast and dinner. There is a buggy service to your room as it’s at the corner of the souk and away from the reception. Breakfast cafe is next to the reception building. I’m glad about the tasty dinner with Arabic night option on weekends. While our stay was delightful overall, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast offerings. Unfortunately, there was a lack of Middle Eastern variety in the food selection, which would have been a wonderful addition to complement the traditional atmosphere of the hotel. We hoped to experience a taste of local flavors and cuisines, especially during breakfast, to further enhance our cultural immersion. Adding some Arabic dishes to the breakfast spread could greatly enrich the experience for guests seeking a more diverse culinary adventure. Otherwise excellent stay for experiencing heritage style vacation.

Charming hotel with a traditional decor that stands out from the rest. The rooms are spacious and the atmosphere is very warm. There are plenty of amenities surrounding the hotel. The only negative comment we would make is to check the underside of the beds. There is a HUGE amount of dust there, enough to have to point it out in our review. As for the service and staff, everything was excellent, nothing to complain about. We loved our experience!

Hi everyone, I am a frequent traveler and a Dimond member of Hilton Group. When I arrived at this Amazing hotel I was greeted by one of the most pleasant receptionist/Manager, Miss Aysha Hussein that great me with her amazing smile, her amazing team and did her best to accommodate my needs. Next I entered my room 222 , It’s like you go back in time, ( I never experienced the magic of this room before, with the creeks view). There is also a sister hotel nearby and you have 24 hours access to a golf buggy to take you back and forth to the canopy hotel ( Also part of the Hilton group). I wished I knew about this hotel before and I hope that this team stays here on my next visit. I wished I could give this hotel score of a million. Again thanks to the management and her great team. 5/5

I really enjoyed my stay, the service, the room, and the ambience were great. However, I don’t feel I could trust their integrity. I forgot a valuable coat in my room when I checked out and I have contacted the hotel via phone & email within 24 hours. No response. I cannot even reach the front desk via phone. I felt this shouldn’t be how the brand of Hilton is represented. If it’s a cheap thing I would have let it go but it’s more than $2000 worth, and the customer care should not just stopped at check out. They should have contacted me as well, since it’s obvious at housekeeping that an expensive piece of item is left behind. This made me doubt the honesty and trustworthiness of the staff. I feel cheated at this point. I wouldn’t recommend this place because of the lack of trust and integrity of its customer service. I feel they stole my stuff from me since I haven’t heard anything back from them.

I arrived at the hotel at 3am and was warmly welcomed. The door was opened for me and although it was late at night, a chilled, tasty vegetable drink was offered. The receptionist took my details and I was driven to my room in a golf cart. The hotel grounds and room were indescribably detailed and felt like I was at Aladdin under 1001 nights.... At the end when checking out I had a very nice conversation with Sameh from the reception. Looking forward to my stay.

Stayed 7 nights there. Location is 15 minutes walking distance from nearest Burjuman metro station, and we got taxis very easily. It's really calm and quiet, far from the city noise. Food is okay, but I'd highly recommend adding more variety on the main course, and especially desert. The staff are very polite but I think they should have more staff on the ground. Had to call the reception many times during checkout to request help with my bags. No pools or gym withing the hotel premise. What! I'd recommend the nearby Hampton Hotel by Hilton which is budget friendly and location is better.

Loved everything about this hotel!! Service was amazing The rooms are spread in 10 different houses nearby. We stayed in 520 and it was 2-3 minutes walk from the reception and the same for the Saba Cafe where you take your breakfast which is also SUPERB. We will definitely stay with you again in the future if we revisit Dubai. Photos are from old town Dubai where the hotel is located 😊

Heritage hotel is spread out over several buildings, in some cases room block / restaurant / pool area and reception are quite far away from each other and finding your way though souk area can be complicated. Dedicated golf carts take long to help you get some one place to the other. so if you are on a schedule, it's not ideal, if you are relaxed on holiday and you have time on your hands it might be fun. As a business traveller I would not advice staying here as it's too gimmicky and check-in / check-out procedure takes long (this includes getting to your room)

The hotel is very charming, the service great, everyone is friendly especially Cesar who drove us and carried our bags to the room when we first got here. We also appreciate the fact that the buildings are separated, making us feel like we’re really living inside a vintage souk. Keep up the good work, Al Seef! We hope to see you again!

When we booked we didn’t know the hotel had various buildings all over Al Seef/old Dubai. Shocked to know that we require or are entitled to buggy littering service (till 10pm). Free parking available at basement; get a slot at D33 for closest to reception. We chose the creek room, but tbh we didn’t spend much time outdoors in the balcony cus of the heat in the day, and at night we could hear the music going on but it lasted till abt 10ish. Room could use with few more power points for charging/own devices. Overall do stay here for the hotel experience of a ~boutique~ styled with curated furniture. Enjoyed this one of a kind setting 😌

Pleasant process of early check-in with assistance from Aysha at the reception. They provided breakfast and a quiet place to wait until the room was ready, and also offered a great room upgrade. The interior was stylish, but the soundproofing was poor. The breakfast was decent, and the room cleaning service was satisfactory. The view from the window and balcony, especially overlooking Al Seef Creek, was good. The rooms had good ventilation, and it was convenient to move around the area using the buggy. There was a pool, but it was small, shared by three Hilton hotels, and it took a 5-minute drive plus waiting time for the driver to come. The street vendors were quite annoying, even if you passed them by multiple times a day. A bit uncomfortable shower. The shower amenities, especially the soap, were of very low quality. The refrigerator didn't work well, and the bed linen had holes. The small-sized bathrobes were strange. There was loud music from the nearby restaurant (though it stopped at 11:00 PM). When my girlfriend went to the reception alone, a male hotel staff member on reception bothered her, despite knowing she was not single (and even if she was - it would be unacceptable).

  • 3/5 Annika R. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice rooms, in a very nice neighborhood. Service, especially at the reception, could be better. We spent a lot of time waiting. Most of the time there is not enough personnel. Poor organized. You better organize important things directly by yourself. If you book breakfast and dinner be careful, dinner is in canopy hotel, 15 min by foot, but still faster as if you wait for a club car to bring you there. Canopy we have not been satisfied with! Nice location but poor service as well.

If you are looking for genuine, rustic accommodation in Old Dubai, this place is it. It has managed to preserve the old world beautifully and authentically. But I would not expect great service or amenities. The quality of the service and attention to detail was severely lacking. Overall, I was glad I only booked for one night. Would not be going again.

This hotel is a dream. Integrated in the historic quarter of Al Seed, perfectly renovated, but 100% authentic. You feel so much drive to keep everything in the historic mood. Absolutely clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything perfect. The only mistake: We are only one night here. But we will come again.

Well recreated authentic looking hotel. Lots of detail and character to provide a different hotel experience and thoroughly enjoyed it for something different to the usual modern hotels in Dubai Nice to be able to walk around the souk area and beside the creek. Well worth a visit or a stay

Fantastic Hotel for everyone loving the Arabic Style; a real Heritage Hotel from the room interior to the breakfast; all at a high standard. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly (3 rooms ready at 13h00 for Check-In; room cleaned at 17h00 because we had a nap; taxi transfer organized at 4h30 in the morning; transfer for the Swimming-Pool in the other hotel without any issues nor waiting time). Little hint; mention that you will use the Express Check-out when you do the Check-in. It avoids waiting time when you want to leave.

I'm so sorry to cannot rate better. The place is very unique and great. I loved the atmosphere and even also the location. But there were so many troubles with the room, with the communication of the front office people that my staying will be memorable but not in the best way. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I just have the expectation that my room will be immaculate. Especially if I'm hosting a guest. It was not. And this was not the issue of the housekeeping. I think it was known from the start that there was something wrong with this room. The people who "rescued" my staying was Akas (Nepal, room attendant), Anusha (Nepal, breakfast), Sulaiman (Uganda). Please train the front office members for communications. It must be improved.

What a beautiful place to stay! It is the most beautiful location in Dubai. The hotel expresses the feel of Old Dubai Heritage so well, at the same time it has all the great modern features to make your life comfortable. If you’re travelling to Dubai or even residing here this place is definitely worth spending some time at. Thank you to all the staff from receptionists to room service, they were all wonderful, welcoming and professional, and really made our time so special and pleasant.💕

Definitely one of the most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in! It has old ancient vibe to it and I love every corner of the hotel. Most importantly, all the staffs were so nice and they went the extra mile to make sure me and my family had a great time during our stay! We’ll definitely come back when we visit Dubai again!

If you want to experience how dubai used to look like, visit this place. The surrounding is made exactly how it was and even inside of this hotel room, lobby everything is made like old style., using antique things for example electric switches are round Shape like how it used to be in olden times, furniture, walls and lights everything is from 50 years back. Food is incredible and hotel service is awesome. A must place to visit with family and friends, & a must hotel to stay as its surrounded by creek lake and ferry boats and has very calm environment 😀

Reached the hotel early in the morning and my reservations has been cancelled though I had exchanged before emails informing the property about my late arrival and confirmed me to stay calm that all is set. In addition I am diamond hhonors member. What a nice welcome ! Though the front desk team member and bell boy were friendly and willing to help but still had to wait … what was supposed to be a short sleep after a long flight is now a delusion. Hotel is nice and particular worth visiting but lack of communication in between departments.

The place is awesome. The rooms are beautiful. However, the experience with receptionist was bad. Starting with getting the room with specific specifications which we already booked from the website. Then, late in services. We understand the situation as it is not the same building and different area are there. However, when we are asking why it is late, we will got to know that she did not inform the concerned person. The overlook for the place was excellent. But the staff are not.

Cool place with excellent accommodations. Service was excellent. Hotel staff with golf carts to drive you around if needed. Was upgraded to a suite for our anniversary. Location is excellent for a quick stay with plenty to see and do. Restaurants and cafes surrounding with tons of souvenir shops.

The hotel is charming with old world style. Breakfast was a delicious spread of fresh fruits, cheese, pastry, eggs to order and much more. Amir and his colleagues provided superior service. I'm a little sad my stay is not longer.

One more outstanding destination for couples. The place is constructed in a way that you will fall in love with it. It makes you feel like you are living in 80’s and the shops will let you buy varieties of Arabic traditional gadgets and sweets. Overall i will rate it 5 as i loved it.

We loved the "cultural heritage" vibe of this hotel. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days in October 2021. The moment we arrived at the reception, they served us hot tea and dried dates fruit. The personnel were nice and all smiles. They even assisted us with our luggage going to our room. The view, the service and the experience exceeded our expectations.

I enjoyed the privacy of the rooms. The property is very large and I was there were golf carts to transport our luggage and us to our rooms. It was a completely different feeling from the modern and chic atmosphere of contemporary Hilton properties. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The location is not close to any MRT stations but there were a taxi station outside the lobby.

This hotel is in a great location. Outside of the craziness of downtown Dubai is this oasis in “Old Dubai.” It is located right on the creek and has a little outdoor market where vendors are selling everything from souvenirs to crepes and Belgium waffles. You can hear some of the market noise at night, but I quite enjoyed the distant chatter and light music. We loved that we could walk to two delicious restaurants - “The Arabian Teahouse” and “Local House Restaurant” plus several coffee shops. The decor makes this hotel look very old but the beds make it feel brand new. We slept so well in the cozy, soft beds with GREAT pillows. And every morning we enjoyed a homemade breakfast with a huge assortment of food. Staff recognition: Tracy- breakfast staff. So friendly Ratisha- hostess at breakfast was so sweet We can’t remember the name of the young lady who checked us into our room, but she was very helpful and accommodating. And late one evening we needed silverware. A sweet young man brought silverware to our room along with a special treat. Thank you to all of you.

Only small criticism is that there is no swimming pool here (even though it explicitly says there is). You do have access to their sister hotel and they will drive you there. Otherwise the rooms were great and the area is very cool/different to other parts of Dubai which is nice.

I highly recommend this hotel, since I had great experience. Although It is not historical architectures from old times , the architect did exquisite job to restore the old look. It looks /feel authentic, if you are into staying some exotic resort. Since it is a modern building, everything in room function very well. The Sevice is great - very friendly and warm, efficient. Do not forget try the sister site rooftop swimming pool
