I ask everyone to read my review carefully!I stayed at this hotel from 12/30/2021 to 01/01/2022. My wife and my children (2 and 5 years old) were with me.After checking into the hotel, it seemed strange to me that we were practically alone there. Most of all areas were closed for the public use.The hotel representatives warned me about this in advance, referring to the repair works. In the only working restaurant Lido in the evening on the 12/30/2021, we sat alone, while there were a large number of waiters and service personnel, all of them worked to deliver food to go. In the morning on the 12/31/2021, we came with our 2 years old son to the Lido restaurant at 12 in the morning, ordered several dishes and decided to go down to the lower deck, which is also part of the restaurant. There we spent 15 minutes with him, then we went upstairs. By this time, my wife and daughter were waiting for us, our table was near the panoramic windows, the view from which overlooked the lower deck. People started appearing on the lower deck, standing in groups of two up to three in different corners. only about 35 people. They were all rather depressed and just gazed into the distance. After a while, all on command, they left the deck. In the morning on the 01.01.2022 we left the hotel and went to check in on the cruise ship. There, a few days later, we got to know that many vacationers with a positive test are sent to self-isolation in this hotel. I believe that if Queen Elizabeth 2 would find out personally how the hotel that bears her name, deceives customers, hides information about that it is used as Covid isolation place, and all important dangers for lives of people and young children, she would feel ugly. I have a photo and video evidence to prove all these facts. The price for one night was about $ 550. I also appeal to the booking company to analyze such messages and stop being complicit in such crimes.

We had the heritage tour and I can tell was super nice to learn more about the history of this amazing cruise ship!! Chris was our tour guy and he was super amazing and very humble! After that, we had booked dinner at Lido restaurant, wasn’t happy with the service, we had our anniversary dinner but the table was not ready and they were not prepared for us even tho we mentioned and we made the booking a week before. Overall, amazing day, it’s worth it to see it.

Fantaaaaastic Hotel of Great historic value. The museum is totally worthy of visit and has a great huge collection of books. The layout of the lobby and library is beautiful and expansive as it opens onto the area where the gangways are... Once aboard Queen Elizabeth.. the indoor lift takes u to your required floor. Or u could take the staircase and browse through the floors. Each floor offers different vistas. The service is impeccable. On board there is security so no issues with children playing around and getting lost. Best place for families to stay . Self Parking is ample and free.

Very interesting hotel. Actually, that's the ship, museum, and hotel at the same time. If you want to temporarily escape from everyday life, this is one of the places. Simply indulge yourself in the imagination of the past time. Perfect for a short stay. Food, especially breakfast is excellent. The price is acceptable. There isn't covered parking, so the owner maybe should do something to improve that. This is a port, so don't expect malls close to the hotel. But not far from there, there are a few nice restaurants.

The QE2 is currently used as covid quarantine hotel for covid cases on the nearby cruiseships. This would not be a problem in the first place, however (1) this is not communicated at all to the staying guests, (2) covid quarantained guests are staying on the same floor as normal guests, and (3) there are not enough measures to seperate positives from normal guests. Very disapointing that obviously the staff is ordered to neglect this, I would not expect them to allow normal guests in the hotel, when this is used as quarantine hotel. Also there is a quite new nightclub on the deck open on weekends, which makes it hard to sleep until at least 3am. Upper rooms with balcony are very nice, but would recommend to stay there, when all amenities on the ship can be used.

Best Place for short stay (Recommend for Couples). Pros: Great ambience inside room/well maintained & sanitized. Lavish Breakfast with wide range of Continental & Indian Dishes. Cons: Limited access to viewing areas & other decks in ship. No guidance from staff, you have to roam around the entire ship to know/see the thing's by your own. Suggested the Management for a short sail daily (that would caters & attracts more travellers & guest for sure) Overall it's Worth for Money @ Prime Location.

It was a wonderful experience. We were so lucky to spent two days in that historical gem. This hotel can be considered for stayacation because you have a lot to explore inside the ship. The room was clean. They have buffet breakfast which was yummy 🤤 and it had two or more cuisines. One should not miss if you get a chance to stay. Its worth it.

It was a dream to go on a cruise but had a tight schedule lately and luckily I found this hotel. The concept is so amazing! I haven’t been in a ship for years now and it felt nostalgic when I set foot in this hotel. Reminiscing all those beautiful memories I had when we travel via ship in Philippines. I’m glad I decided to celebrate my birthday here, felt so good! 🥰 The room was awesome and the staff are so helpful. The only thing I didn’t get to enjoy is the dinner but I loved the pasta and breakfast is 7/10. All in all, I loved it here and wish to come back soon. Awesome for relaxation! Make sure to choose the room with balcony, my fave part!! ❤️

We had a fantastic one night stay at this wonderful hotel. What a pleasure to spend time on this iconic ship. We spent a lot of time wandering around the ship and exploring all the levels and nooks and crannies with lovely art work and artefacts from the ship's many voyages. There's so much to see. Heritage tour was excellent and Christopher was really entertaining. Golden Lion is a great place for a few drinks and to see the Dubai skyline. After our stay, we felt relaxed and rejuvenated. It's a very restful place. Highly recommended!

AVOID THE QE2 IF YOU NEED TO QUARANTINE FOR COVID! At the end of my holiday in Dubai, I tested positive for Covid, and was relocated by the authorities to the QE2 to quarantine for 10 days. I had to pay 6300 AED (£1260) for 9 days as the free hotel option was full - but honestly, I doubt this experience was any better. I have been here for three days and the experience has been appalling. While obviously I have to stay indoors, I have been served the same three meals each day. They are seriously bad (airplane-level in quality), and have little nutritional value. Because of that, I was forced to spend an extra 210 AED on a meal from room service. On top of that, the receptionist has been rarely answering my calls, and the opportunity to leave my cramped room is limited to two 15-minute walks a day. I am shocked to see something as iconic and world-famous as the QE2 deliver such abysmal service - even to people in my own unique situation. My conclusion is that the company has decided to turn some of its smaller rooms into Covid quarantine as an easy way to make some extra cash while still catering to regular visitors. I am frustrated, shaken and hugely disappointed with the QE2. If the worst does happen to you and you get Covid while in Dubai, my advice is to avoid this place at all costs.

Its vintage as the name says and has a pedigree to offer. The events hall is a massive sized on water place and the ship has old era entertainment options. It is one of the landmarks in Dubai and graces it with its presence. The food is fine and served in a delicate manner. Overall the place has a uniqueness and a grace

This one place you need to stay in Dubai. It’s got a rich heritage attached to it. You need to take a tour inside the ship and it makes you feel good when you know that you are staying in a ship with so much of history. Moreover, the restaurant ‘Lido’ offer a good selection of cuisines. If possible, you should ask the Manager Peter to take you to the bridge. You can also take some amazing pictures on the deck as well as with city view on one side and sea view on the other side. The rooms are also very nice and clean. The staffs are all very friendly. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get hold of the night club since it was closed after lockdown which will hopefully be reopened in October of 2021

Enjoyed the experience. The deluxe rooms are quite large and comfortable. Just had a bit of issue with the air condition which was not cooling the room well. It's a fun place to go with friends. Great breakfast and a decent spread.

We did the historic tour with Craig - it was a fabulous experience, one of the most interesting things we have done (so far) in Dubai. We did the package with the buffet dinner which was high quality and it was great value too. You can sit out on the deck at night and have a drink at the Lido bar. We had booked the comedy evening at the theatre - which has also been refurbished and is a great small venue. The whole experience was faultless. Suggestion: management offer the buffet dinner as a package with anyone attending an event.

The views from the ship are beautiful and on the upper decks it definitely has a feel of luxury and opulence. The rooms on the SU deck where we stayed were great, no complaints. The staff were a little cold but it was the holiday season and they were probably a bit tired as the ship was very busy. Close to a lot of attractions. Food was good but eating on the ship was very expensive for certain things, we prefers to have lunch/dinner out. Good stay, would recommend for a short pleasant stay.

Staff friendly, tour was interesting. Rooms were OK,But noisy. One had a noisy fan all night, other room was not very soundproof so could hear noise from other room and outside. Food was OK. For the price we paid I would say it was fine. Nice to be able to say we have slept on the iconic ship but wouldn't rush to repeat.

Me and my friend were able to live our best Titanic moment with this boat! The location were really great (a bit difficult to find first due to all of the road renovations outside) we had a car and it was very convenient to go anywhere from the location. The staff were really nice, professional and service minded. The room was clean, cute and nice, the bathroom had some problems with water - after we took a shower there could be water everywhere on the floor. Not too big of a problems since we got a lot of towels.

I'm in love with the food. It's unusual to find all the food good in the buffet. However, the chef here is doing an amazing job with a variety of dishes. The lady on the reception is so nice and friendly. The manager was lovely with our little daughter. Mr Craig did a good job on the tour as well. The whole experience was great, and we enjoyed every part.

If I’ll share my experience about this beautiful Hotel it will be one book. Let’s start from reservation experience! First 5* for reservation lady, we forgot her name, thank you so much. Actually My wife booked this hotel room for my birthday , they provided us slice of birthday cake. Thank you. Our arrival experience! So… We arrived and entered Queen Elizabeth II Hotel first warm greetings was by a Concierge guy Rana, he greet us, took our bag and assist us to reception and very friendly and professional, well done Rana. 😊😊👏👏 In reception was waiting us another surprise, the receptionist gentleman who took care of our check in was a wonderful person Mr. Craig, he is a receptionist, and he is tour guide also. Check in process was done quickly and professionally. Room was classic, just standard room a bit small, but everything was super, from room, reception and concierge no issues, the problem is phone, when we needed to ask about in room dining we called more than 10 times no response at all. This little bit made us upset. No operator, no reception, no in room dining, no one will respond. Only Housekeeping line always responded that's. 5 pm we had tour in hotel, Mr, Craig was our tour guide, he was so professional. He is best. Breakfast buffet we like it. Food variety, food quality, service, all were outstanding. But please add some more variety of croissants and breads ... We are planning to book again. But This time we will try to book Captain room with balcony ... I.A See u soon Our Room number was 1002.

We did the package offer at the QE2, which included a guided tour, overnight stay in the captains suite, dinner, and breakfast. Whilst here we celebrated our wedding anniversary aboard, and they kindly decorated the room with rose petals, complimentary bubbly and cake. This was our first visit, and we couldn't have been happier. This was such a fabulous experience and one we will now continue to repeat every year.

Good place for new experience. However, access to most part of the ship was closed. As per receptionist classic and standard room were same but I ended up paying more for standard room while booking online. Breakfast was ok not so vow. You can go out for food as there are good restaurants n club nearby like headlines, fisherman etc. Overall experience was good.

What a wonderful experience we had at this hotel! The rooms are stunning, the service is wonderful, and the view is absolutely beautiful. Wish we could have spent all our days there!! We look forward to coming back here again!! Special thanks to Ms Paola for extending our stay by a couple of hours since we had nowhere else to go but the airport and our flight was after midnight so we'd have had to wait a long time but her generosity allowed us to enjoy the hotel and its services for a couple more hours. Would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends!!

The ship is very nice and luxurious! But it feels like a dead trap… 2 restaurants only, 1 with a 4 food items menu and the other has a buffet, limited but nice however closes at 10.30. The overall experience is super nice…. And for sure a must try! Location of the ship is a congested area… but again totally worth it!

Our family enjoyed the place, though we weren’t able to do much since a lot of facilities are still close after the last typhoon. Their staff are really helpful and respectful. Special thanks to Lucy for the smooth upgrade of our room. Five star for the service, food and the peace and quiet feel. We were able to relax after the stressful work. Will definitely come back once all amenities are available.

The Queen Elisabeth 2 in Dubai provides a unique and nostalgic experience, being an outdated cruise ship turned hotel. The maritime charm is evident throughout, but some areas show signs of wear. The cabins, though cozy, could use a modern touch. On the upside, the dining options are diverse, offering a taste of luxury with ocean views. The staff's hospitality is commendable, contributing to a pleasant stay. Overall, a stay at Queen Elizabeth 2 is like stepping back in time, offering a memorable, if somewhat aged, maritime experience.

First off, let me say I think this is a super cool experience and something people should definitely try, and I gave it a 5 star rating cos I don't want people to be discouraged from visiting and supporting the QE2 experience. However, unfortunately it looks like they've been hit really hard by Covid and the tourism downturn. The pool was empty, half the restaurants were closed, and there's virtually nowhere you can actually go outside on the boat. The Lido restaurant was underwhelming in terms of food. On the plus side they do appear to be doing a large amount of work on the boat and the staff were exceptionally friendly and positive. Hopefully a bright future for the QE2, and I do recommend a visit.

Unfortunately swimming pool is closed due to covid. The captain( in the reception - i think a english guy) very nice one...friendly. Thank you staff for the grate hospitality.

An excellent visit - we enjoyed our stay enormously although there were not many other guests on the ship. The service was excellent with nothing being too much trouble - including printing locator forms for my journey home. We had a balcony cabin and I really enjoyed the view of other ships coming in to port helped by the tugs while drinking my early morning coffee. You do need a taxi ride to travel anywhere from the ship but taxi's are very reasonable. We also booked the guided tour of the QE2 - very interesting and worthwhile.

Permanently docked in Dubai, we went there for a guided tour inside this ship. You get to see the deck and few other areas on the ship. Most of the areas are closed. The tour guide was knowledgeable and fantastic in explaining the heritage of this ship. The ship has been refurbished but many of the artifacts still remain intact.

Staying a few nights at the QE2 is a wonderful experience. The rooms are beautifully renovated, the service is on point and the staff is super helpful and friendly. One nice call to the Front desk and Mary Jane gave me a free late check out although they had quite a few arrivals. I will come back to stay in this iconic ship that has such a rich history to explore!

It's the QE2... what more is there to say? The ship is being lovingly and tastefully restored, it is clearly a massive job but it does feel like it's nearing completion (Nov-21). The rooms are well designed, have great decor and are immaculate. It does feel like a luxury hotel here, as it does in the restaurants. The halls and communal areas have been renovated, but they have retained the feel of the vessel and there is a lot of character. Staff were amazing - really outstanding service. I'd particularly recommend the heritage tour as it gives access to parts of the ship you can't see normally and ours was presented with passion by Chris. When we visited it was very quiet, party due to COVID and partly due to ongoing restoration work. I would love to come back once it's fully open and they have the bars and other restaurants up and running. Overall, a must see for Dubai in my opinion.

It was an unusual experience to stay onboard a cruise liner. I am sure back in the 1960s, it was the final word in high-class living for the aristocracy, but in 2023, most people would consider the rooms to be small, outdated, and lacking in modern convenience. The reception, bar area, and tour of the ship were excellent, as were the open area areas at the top.

Myself and my wife enjoyed our stay immensely. It was an amazing place to sleep. Check in took a couple of minutes, we met 'Peter' from the show who regaled us with stories from his time on the ship. The room was modern and the view from the balcony was exceptional, especially at sunset. We were there on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was really quiet and the service first class. Lunch was great and dinner amazing. Great cocktail menu. The chefs were able to assist with food allergies. This is a historic ship and it will only get better as more of it is refurbished.

Cleaning of the rooms was fantastic It has been writing "Queen Elizabeth 2 still make history" i should say yes exactly A good memory of staying in a heritage liner vessel of Southampton to new York, 1967 built. Now in Dubai everything itself is an antique objects belonging to museum of QE2 Replicas of old ships, old paintings, drawings and design of old vessel. In besides of calmness of seaside will be your eternal pleasure and memory All room refurbished by modern furniture and decorations but by preserving originality. I am marine engineer me and my family enjoyed our stay there and we are hopeful to stay there once more But i will appreciate management of hotel to let me to have a visit from her bridge, machinery spaces, forecastle and poop deck. I'm too much interested in to visit that areas but it wasn't allowed by management at last time. I suggest everyone to go there and visit the lido restaurants for at least one lunch with its memorable view.

We had an absolutely amazing tour of the ship with Brendan Russel Clarke today. It's just sensational! Brendan is a walking encyclopedia and knows everything about the history of the ship. Here is my experience with the hotel. Service - We were assisted by Shourok (I'm not sure if its her name but i guess yes) in the reception area for check in and I’m not sure if it is just her bad day or if she really was like that. (1) she pull out a wrong booking instead of my booking. I first noticed that the contact number mentioned was not mine and when i told her she just told that, that is what i fill out online. And i was like why would i do that? Why would i keep wrong contact details? I told her again that i would never keep a wrong contact details then only she asked for my name despite the fact that my, my husband and my baby’s emirates ID are in her hands! Then only we know that the file is not mine. (2) She did not even say I’m sorry or anything that she made a mistake. (3) concierge is not available after completing our check in, instead of waiting, we opted to go ourselves. So we asked her for directions. And guess what, she pointed us out in the wrong direction! We checked the whole area where she pointed us only to find our designated room from the other side of the ship! I even asked my husband to reconfirm what direction she pointed us. We met Ricardo along the way and he assisted us to our room and informed us of the places we can check in the ship. Maintenance - Air Condition - Maybe its just because of the summer season but our room temp is reaching only max of 23.5C, its not that hot but it would be better if its more cooler. Maintenance - Water temperature was too hot even when you keep the tap in cold. Food - We only seen Lido restaurant to be operational, there were few options before but when we visited its not available. Our booking include breakfast, and they have good choices of food. Taste is average with other good restaurants. We also check the restaurant for dinner but they had a very few selection which I'm not interested to have. Still ordered pasta in white sauce, and yes, its literally pasta in white sauce. Ordered something for in room dining, and the service is fast. In the end, we ordered food from outside for proper dinner, they don't allow the delivery guy to go to your room for delivery so you need to go out and meet the guy. Room Service - they are efficient, when ever you need something from room service, they usually bring it to you immediately. Amenities - i haven't seen anything else to do on board, I mean i haven't seen a swimming pool, gym or sauna. But if you will roam around the ship, you will see the history of Queen Elizabeth 2, and its quite entertaining and fascinating.

Very nice and authentic experience. Living in the ship itself special. It is amazing to feel that nostalgic vibe. All the teams very helpful at reception, restaurant, concierge and cleaning. I personally want to thank Ms Yaya at reception who was very helpful and easy going during check in process. I stayed in half board basis and dinner were also quite good I also suggest visitors to buy h/b. Enjoying outer(sun) deck for breeze in the evenings also nice. One thing would be amazing add on there although there is a big theater, a pocket cinema would be huge plus just a suggestion :)

must say, We’re glad that I has celebrated my birthday here with my family. This should be more than 5 stars. I love everything about QE2, from the reservation, up to the check-out. My visit to the historical Queen Elizabeth 2 was truly remarkable! The evening began with an amazing buffet dinner in a unique and elegant setting. The location itself was a feast for the eyes, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of maritime history. What makes this experience even more special is the opportunity to embark on a kind of time travel journey. The free-to-visit museum spots on the ship provide an incredible insight into the past, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rich history of the Queen Elizabeth 2.Dining on this iconic vessel was a blend of exquisite cuisine and a captivating journey through time. It's an experience that I'll cherish forever, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience

An interesting stay experience, coupled with nice touches of historic moments. If you are a fan of Queen Elizabeth, this is a great highlight! Aside from that, the rooms are ok but getting around the ship is rather confusing, and clearer signs would’ve been appreciated. Breakfast experience is not too bad. There is a gym located at deck 7 all the way below. Most of the places in the ship feel more like a museum rather than an ongoing attraction with the shopping arcade entirely empty, the convenience store changed to a semi museum gallery. But overall an interesting experience!

It was amazing to sleep on this boat. It was like staying in a museum. I explored the decks in the evening and was able to read about the history of this ship in the galleries. I'm only annoyed that it's in Dubai and not in England?... why is this important piece of history allowed to be taken away from us?

The main lobby I loved- the super high ceiling and the hundreds of books available for reading. I love books. Otherwise, honestly underwhelming unless the British empire or monarchy is of some special interest. It’s old- of course, and it shows especially in the bathrooms, so if you enjoy that kind of experience you’ll be fine. Old carpets everywhere also isn’t exciting for me with a sensitive chest. The food at Lido Restaurant (open buffet) was below average the was service was average. The guy at the grill station outrightly ignored my request twice and ended up not try the dish I had asked for. The Sangrias were good. The views from the stern were really nice at night. You can see most of the port from there.

Hotel Queen Elizabeth 2 has breathed new life into this historic ship. The ocean liner has been transformed into a hotel while retaining aspects of the ship's rich history. Rooms: They are immaculate. Our cabin had a balcony with views of the marina - great for shipspotters. Service Staff: extremely helpful. Will help you with all your requests Food: hearty meals and generous servings of alcohol. Our attendant Mohammad was fantastic did everything he could to ensure our lunch was a fantastic experience. Heritage Tour: A great one hour tour of the ship. Our guide was Craig who knows the history and most impressive, had a good knowledge of how the QE2 evolved over its long life. Take this tour to view the shops bridge.

We have been wanting to stay on the QE2 for a while now. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe room for our stay. Bed was extremely comfortable. Afternoon tea was a lovely experience. A great range of food and service was excellent. Unfortunately during our stay we were woken and continually disturbed between 12am and 1.30 am with noisy unsupervised children jumping, screaming and banging in the room above us. After enduring this for an hour and a half, we finally called reception. Security was dispatched and the room was quiet not long after that. We didn't call sooner as we felt it was not part of our experience to be responsible for the behaviour and reporting the behaviour of other guests unsupervised children. Something the hotel might consider monitoring especially if on check in there are large parties expected to stay late with many children. Perhaps asking clients if they have a nanny to supervise or have made provision as well as outlining the need to consider other guests would be a suitable strategy. Apart from this, we had a lovely stay, and would recommend this for a nostalgic, interesting and historical stay away.

Nice hotel , good staff, Receptionists are professional and very good. It was a grate experience but 1 night stay is not enough need more days to be there. If you really want to enjoy your stay must take room with balcony. All staff very friendly it was my first time but it was great. Coming back soon....

Elegant. Nostalgic. Refurbished ship that was originally built in 1965. The rooms are well appointed with all the modern conveniences. The nightclub “Float” is a technical marvel with its large bar and light shows. Last night was a hula hoop dancer. Take the ship tour with Christopher if you get the chance!

Great place for a short stay. We stayed here for 2 night and enjoyed the heritage tour and the room with balcony which had a sea view. Other than the Gym and one restaurant(Lido) there is nothing much to do. Swimming Pool and other areas like Casino are closed. 🍱 Breakfast was good and limited as it was la-carte consisting of Continental and Arabic cuisine. Room service was good! 👌🏻 🛳 Heritage tour of the cruise is chargeable at AED 50 per guest. Kids below 5 years have free entry. Recommended for short stay of day or two!

Small gathering, all Covid Protocols, momentum of show was great, conducting in a theatre was a draw back. Will go back depending on show only if not in theatre.

Well run hotel ideally situated for my visit. Clean, understated and efficient. Reception arrangement slightly confusing though. Our room was a decent size with all the facilities expected within a 4-star hotel. Could not have picked a better location for the price we paid. We'll definitely look to stay again if we go back to Dubai. We would recommend it!

The accommodations and staff truly demonstrate why they are a 5 star hotel. The staff and service was phenomenal. I have never experienced such service. All of the staff was so pleasant and helpful. And the view is mind-blowing. Staying here is a must.

The Queen Elizabeth 2 is a good place to dine for a romantic experience. The ambiance is good and it offers a unique experience. The staffs are accommodating. The place also showcase history. They even have a nice Library area while you wait for your check-in!

Love the history, exactly what I'd expected. Looking forward to coming back when COVID restrictions allow all facilities to open... For now, they've priced it perfectly for what's available.

Thanks QE2 for the wonderful honeymoon experience! We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing honeymoon decoration we had in our room, exceeded our expectation by many levels! The room was very clean and the furniture was brand new. Loved the sleek looking design of the room! We had a heritage tour, would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The tour was very informative, fun and wonderful to see the old rooms of the ship as they are. Please do not miss out on this wonderful tour. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. I would like to thank Mr. Prabhu for taking good care of our room. This hotel is a true hidden gem and would definitely visit again!

Absolutely delightful and amazing experience. Heritage tour is a must. See if you can get Peter or Christopher. Both are awesome, informative and captivating. (Yes I went twice) However can also explore on your own. The food... Breakfast and Dinner, just wow! Need to diet after the weekend of dining! Well worth it and such an amazing weekend! Thanks to all the staff at QE2 from booking to check-out!

Our stay was excellent, the staff were so hospitable, including Maria and Akram (reception). I had informed them that the stay was to celebrate a birthday and to our surprise, we had received two surprise cakes! The heritage tour must NOT be missed, our guide, Chris was wonderful and made the experience more memorable. The food was incredible as well at breakfast and dinner!

The place as extraordinarily wonderful and the hotel gave us free upgrade to sea view! It was indeed a fantastic room and the staff are very helpful and polite. I had an incredible experience at Queen Elizabeth 2. This was my second visit, the free upgrade to a spacious room was such a great perk! The reception staff was helpful and friendly special thanks to the Arabic girl and the guy who assisted me with showing another room when I wanted a room change at first. The sunset view from my room was absolutely stunning! Such a pity that it was just a one night stay. But I’ll be back for sure!

Keep the traffic in mind before you reach there. There is ample parking space. The welcome Lounge is good and spacious. Wheelchairs are available upon request. The experience on the ship is different and nice. There is history mentioned on information boards. There is a good amount of walking involved. I had attended a party on the deck. Catering Service needs a lot of improvement. Overall experience was nice.

Beautiful ship .Still needs a bit a work doing tonot as none of the facilities open when we where there 2 weeks ago . Very significant to us as we where there for the he queen's funeral and the tributes and patronage was beautiful. Service and rooms excellent. Bar service outstanding and reasonable. Staff a credit to the ship

Elegant and unique marvel which offers peaceful stay blended with oceanic views. However, the security staff are terrible as they haunt guests and children. We happened to visit late hours and were advised that visiting time has finished so we stood outside when a security staff walked to us saying “why did your kids enter the ship”. We told them that those kids were not with us but they continued to haunt our kids who were beside us. The unruly and unprofessional staff should not be appointed at such an amazing facility which is of unique significance. We got our visit ruined but it should not happen to other people.

I had the pleasure of staying at this property. Here is my personal experience of living in history. - A place which is historic, luxurious and yet feels modern - The first interaction at the reception was a wow experience, Ms. Paola the duty manager executed the check-in process flawlessly. Service with a smile. - A must try is the Heritage tour, our guide was Brandon. He is very gifted and knowledgeable. - The view from the deck is amazing. - There are loads and loads of books you can see. - Loved the mini museum on board - My booking included breakfast and was pleasantly impressed A must visit, I will definitely want to relive this magical experience again.

Very nice place to escape from routine. A place to visit. Food is delicious and staff are welcoming and management showing good interest also. You can plan your event on board and break the routine. It is a different experience, also can be romantic at night. We enjoyed our time with a new and different experience . Also in the lobby you can find nice books. We really recommend Queen Elizabeth 2. We will deffenitly come again to try another outlet even to do future events.

Afternoon tea was superb! Dining room was lovely and the personnel very attentive. Best cup of tea in the whole fortnight!! The ship exterior needs some love. Woodwork dull and paint wants a freshen up.

We dropped in to explore and ended up in the Lido restaurant. Lovely staff, food was great (wagyu beef burger and baby roast chicken). Explored the old casino and outer deck. Traditional British pub (Golden Lion) with fascinating shields on the walls. Overall fascinating piece of history.

Fantastic, iconic venue. We went to the theatre aboard the QE2, good view, comfy seats, great crowd. good acoustics. The Red Lion pub was just like being in England and the theatre bar was rammed, get in line early for drinks at interval. The museum was free to peruse and actually quite interesting. Well worth a visit. Lots of free parking.
