Seriously cannot find any fault with anything of this Lodge. Rooms were maintained very clean. The size of the room & bed is sufficient enough for two adults and a kid. Location is spot on. It is exactly at the backside entrance of the main temple. It will take you less than a minute to enter the temple premises. This entrance will prove helpful if you are going for darshan during Aarthi (i know one to be at 5 am and one to be at 8 pm. There might be other timings too). For darshan other than aarthi times, you can enter thru this entrance but have to go out, walking thru the temple and come from the front entrance (it will take hardly 3-4mins). Service, i could give 5 more stars if it were possible. The guys managing the hotel were very humble and happy to serve. They also showed us the way to a good dinner when we returned late at night. The lodge has a small, made-to-order kind of kitchen and a few tables. We had DELLICIOUS breakfast here. Dont expect it to be a full scale hotel where u get whatever u order for. There will be limited items, which are fulfilling enough. They were also preparing some chapathis for lunch (we were not there for lunch so we dont know more details). One thing, the price for the kind of town seemed high. But, you know now a days everything is expensive and they too have to maintain it the way it is.

awsome ambiance. close to swami temple, almost on 10 second distance. staffs over here are so co-operative. owner is also down to earth. tasty food. I will suggest to ppl visit this hotel. we will love to visit here again.

If you are coming to Akkalkot this is the best place you can find to live because of the location perk it has. The main Swami Samarth mandir is right in front of the hotel and you save on transportation and receive the best vibe to stay at. If you are staying here your chances to visit the temple and attend the mandir aarti is 10x. Also the owners and management are really nice and efficient people, we received very kind welcome for a tea party at their place also. You would have nothing to complain its the best option you can have.

No cleanliness. The only good this that it is just next to Swami mandir. Otherwise bathrooms were dirty. They did not clean before allotting the room. Cupboard and drawers were not cleaned. You can get better options in this budget.

All good except the room rent is on higher side. People come to akkalkot for swami darshan but not for tourism. So keep room rent on low side so people can offerd easily.

Wonderful hospitality by Mr . Neelkhanth.. We felt as if we are at home .. Very helpful person .. We had some vehicle fault .. Mr Neelkhant was with us and managed everything wonderfully.. Location of the hotel is just 1 minute from Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj main gate .. He helped us getting inside for night Aarti from the main gate as we were late .. Wonderful 👍👍.. A must stay to enjoy the hospitality and service 🌺🌺

Overall its a very good place to stay for people who travelling for Swami Darshan, just cross the street and you are in temple premises. The staff is courteous and friendly. Ideal for family stay.

It was really a great experience at Shankar Residency, Rooms clean , 24h hot water, Well equipped with Wifi and Tv and most importantly Car parking,One of the best place to stay in Akkalkot , vear near to Swami Temple. Sharing one of my experience I told them that my kid is small can you please ensure rooms are well clean and senitize before we come and it was really a best experience they did is as we requested. Very clean & tidy rooms. Excellent room service. Polite staff. The owner Mr Hindole is very humble and polite. This was our third stay in Shankar Residency with family.

Had my second stay here with family since last 10 months. Location is 5 mins walk from Vatavruksha Swami Samarth Temple. Paid breakfast service available from 07 to 10 am in lobby. Rooms (including washrooms) were very clean. We booked one Ac (#305) & one Non-Ac (#202) room. Reception guys were responding well to requests (we requested water bottle over service phone) Owner was considerate to turn on Fan in lobby when we were checking out in the morning. Elevator is available in the property. P.S. if you taking steps to climb in night, you can switch on the stairway lights. Switch is at stairways. Overall, great experience once again.

The stay was pleasant. The room was super clean and spacious. The view from the room is good.The location is closed to Swami Samarth Temple.The staff is also good.

Before booking, when we saw the reviews we were little hesitant to book, however after the stay I must say there is lot of improvement & they have worked on the feedback. The rooms were very clean, the staff was quick to respond to our requests, the + is proximity to Vatavruksha Shree Swami Samantha Mandir, it is just few steps to one of the entrance to Mandir & just opposite to the Residency’s entrance. The owner was really helpful & guided us on the Darshan , Aarti , he also came with us to book an autorickshaw for our visit to Samadhi Math & Khandoba Mandir. Best place one can get for night over in Akkalkot. If the person is visiting Swami Darshan, this is the best place you can get. Just next to Swami Math. No hassle no issues and the service is too good, rooms are very spacious and clean, well maintained.
