Now this can be described as balsamic food to have. No fancy plating but just a pure homely taste. Proportionate use of oil n very little spices; still no compromise with the taste.

You will find proper maharashtrian home made food here which affordable for all They have thali which consists of daily three vegetables,chapati,dal,salad,papad,pickel, butter milk and mainly they give peanut chutney which was best. Food is really good and it has good hygiene too There are not much tables for dining. So it's recommend to go as soon as possible or tell them prior. It's just five minutes away from swami's temple.

Authentic maharashtrian style veg thali you will get here which is good in taste and delicious. Only veg thali for ₹.120 they serve...one can order shrikhand/Amrakhand which tastes good too. I tried both, I will prefer shrikhand. Hardly 5-10 mins away from mandir, we went for dinner... One can go for dinner by 8.30 because later on waiting will be there for 15 20mins. Good Food, quick service...surely worth the hype and mandatory to have food here when in Akkalkot.

Owner is quite arrogant, Overhyped place, food is very very basic, we went 1km walking just to get food from joshi bhojnalaya but it was a bad decision, owner is rude, they behave like they don’t need customers, if you want to take individual roti and bhaji they charge 20 rs for a roti and bhaji quantity is also very less, you can get tasty food at any other basic restaurant ,

After searching various options for dinner at Akkalkot.. Strange experience of hotels are open but the say they surve only during day time. Don't know what is the point keeping hotel open during night. Opposite to that Joshi Bhojanalay was the best offering home food, with various vegitables, daal, papad, raita. Sweet dish Shrikhand is also home made. Liking the taste we also purchased limbu achhar seperately. My recommendation goes with Joshi Bhojanalay. Keep up the good work.

Best thali i have had in recent time. Loved the Amti and the palakachi patal bhaji. The lemon pickle and peanut Chutney was awsome.

Was in Akkalkot on 1st June. Had dinner at Joshi Bhojanalaya around 9.45 pm. The restaurant was to get closed. However, had a very tasty and homely food. Unlimited. With Roti, Bhaji, Sheng Dhana chutney and the special raita. Also, bought original Bailey water bottle, otherwise, most of the places are selling local water bottles.

Fresh and tasty homely food. Two subji(bhaji), dal(amti), chapati, pickle and groundnut chutney. Buttermilk and papad are limited, rest unlimited. Clean and light on stomach food. Do try.

One of the best place to have home made food...also if you go in groups, can book breakfast by calling in advance...also host is very nice and friendly with customers ...just go for it !!!

I was searching for good vegetarian maharastrian food option in Akkalkot and my search ended here, I would say prefect option for those who want home made good mahatrastrian thali. You might get waiting in busy days as there is limited seating arrangement but even the waiting is worth as the food was awesome.

Very good option to have food in Akkalkot if you can't get महाप्रसाद. A small place 300 mtr away from temple. It can accommodate 30 people at a time. There would be waiting after 8pm. Homely Maharashtrian food. They provided साधं वरण भात for our kids, which is not part of menu. We were happy our kids enjoyed food as if they are at home. Thank you very much.

Tasty homemade food. Better than the most of fastfood restaurants. They have their own products too for sell. Must visit if you are hungry & want to taste Ghar ka khana. Parking is not available. You may need to wait for your turn but it's worth it. Staff is very cordial.

This is a small and simple place who serves veg thali. They don't prepare food in advance and then wait for customer to come. Usually they prepare in small batches only. So if you are going with big group of people then better if you can call them in advance about it.
