This is nearby Swami Samarth maharaj temple at walking distance of 10 min. Often people miss this place where Swami samadhi is there which is very important place . Do visit this place after visiting temple. If u have parked your car in main parking, let it be parked. Take a rikshaw which will hardly take Rs. 50. And then u can come back to parking again after the darshan as there is no space for parking ur car at samadhi place. If u have seen movie named तो ची एक समर्थ . Shree swami Samartha! One of the few places where you will feel the positivity and ethereal vibes. I have been to this place for atleast half a dozen times and every time I am here I feel rejuvenated. Over the years the management here has revived the interiors of the Math. At 8pm sharp there is a maha aarti of shree swami samarth. Do attend that.. Also ask there for the following temples and sacred places nearby. 1. Cholappa math 2. Murlidhar mandir 3. Maruti mandir 4. Bhosle puratan shastragar Have the mahaprasad near the math post the maha aarti. They offer good food.. Even though its not Compulsory to pay for the maha prasad but you can donate there as your wish. Thank you.

Swami Samarth Maharaj always blessed there devotee's we should always walk on the path showed by Maharaj. Now due to St strike one can get Karnataka state bus from Solapur station I boarded at 5.15am morning gangapur bus for bhakts one day is very less as this place is always special but half day is enough n while returning we can board tamtam,vadap from solapur st stand cost 60rs but they halt 2km away from solapur station so plan accordingly. The Samadhi mandir is close to the Akkalkot main bus stand i.e. at 5 minutes walking distance. This temple is around 500m away from the main Vatavriksha temple, inside the town where the mortal remains of Swami Samarth is said to be placed in rest. It takes around 15 minutes from the main Vatavriksha temple to reach the samadhi mandir. Samadhi temple is maintained by Cholappa Maharaj family who was the great devotee of Swami Maharaj. Cholappa Maharaj's house is just behind the samadhi temple. The story behind this is Cholappa maharaj requested Swami Samarth Maharaj that whenever Swami will end his avatar and take samadhi(mausoleum), the place should be near Cholappa maharaj house.

Very nice and spiritual place. It’s near to akkalkot bus stand .. and different from main Swami Samarth Temple. This is the main place in Akkalkot where Shree Swami Samarth Samadhi is there. This temple is built under guidelines of Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj, before 5 years of taking Samadhi. He took the Samadhi at 30 April 1878 Tuesday, in Chollappa Maharaj home. Right now this Temple's Nitya Puja done by Chollappa Vanshaj.

Very well maintained temple, not so crowded, the place is peaceful, the temple has gopuram(gate) of Dravidian architecture style.

Blessed. Now days darshan is from distance where we visited 1year before that time darshan was closer. why they did this no ans. Last time there was room where Swami Samarth takes rest now this time that room also demolished why don't know
