I ordered for collection from this place and when I went to collect my food the guy asked for a tip. Like what?! How can you ask for a tip when I didn’t even sit down to eat. This tipping culture is getting out of control. This place obviously doesn’t pay its employees enough if they have to ask for a tip on a call and collect order 😹😹😹 I ordered a side of grilled vegetables and when I got there they told me that they don’t have vegetables but they can give me stir-fry but then I had to wait for the stir-fry to be made. Why didn’t they call me to ask me if they can substitute the veggies? Guys. Rather go to the Ocean Basket in WonderPark.

Please close this restaurant! It's mothers day; no milk and no cream. So, no milkshakes and no dessert. I asked for ice to enjoy with my wine, this was served in a broken measuring bowl used in the kitchen!!!! *Pictures available* By far one of the worst restaurants I ever dined at!!!

Really below standard. Bad service sitting a long time before drink orders are taken. We had to ask to clean the table and take away the dirty dishes. Not offering anything extra. The place is looking dirty and uninviting. Food was okay but the Calamari was very dry. Toilets is not taken care of.

I was really disappointed with the service today. We went here for dinner with my lovebug today. We first ordered drinks and told the waiter to come after few minutes and he took almost 10 minutes till we got to call him. We ordered our food which also took forever to come, that we even decided to go to woolies for some groceries since they were closing. When we came back a different waitress helped us and suddenly everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and moist! The same guy came back and messed up our bill!

Last year 30 November 2020 i had a bad experience there. Poor food and service. Yesterday i was there again upon recommendation by my daughter, and what a pleasant surprise. Exelent well prepared food and exelent service by waitress WENDY. Keep up the standard. Will definitely visit again. !!!!!

I had Sunday lunch here. It was quiet with many seats available. The service was good. The play area seemed to keep the children busy enough. This helped and I will go here again when I want to go to an OB with children.

We ordered take away. The food we did receive was delicious,however they forgot our rice, chips that we paid for. They also forgot our side salad and salmon salad. At least we didn't pay for it, but still disappointed as we ordered it.

Great place for seafood, had a delicious platter that we shared with a nice bottle of wine. The staff was very friendly and professional. Great service. They had power during load shedding. And the food came out very fast and fresh. Would gladly go again.

We had to wait an hour before we were asked what we wanted to eat. People came and took their food while we waited. Very disappointing. We were gona sit but after seeing the treatment we ended up leaving.

Service was extremely slow and we had to struggle to get our waitress' attention. We asked for lemom butter sauce for my daughter's rice and the waitress kept arguig that they made the rice in lemon butter sauce but it was tasteless and very dry. When she eventully brought the sauce, it was ice cold and when I asked of she could please just reheat it, she seemed very annoyed. We waited extremely long for our food and when she brought it, one of the dishes was not what we ordered. All the starters had chopped olives in it, even though the menu doesn't mention any olives. One of the worst Ocean Baskets ever!!!!! The only tasty dish was the Salmon and avo starter

Ordered the platter of R585.00 yesterday morning @ 10:15 for 11:30 pick up. Johan who answered the phone was not very willing to assist at first. Told me they are only opening at 11:00. When I asked why he answered the phone then and why cant I place my order in the meantime he then reluctantly took the order. On our way to pick up a very friendly person Freddie called that our order will only be ready at 12 as the kitchen was experiencing some challenges. We did not have a problem with this. I arrived at the shop at 11:50 to check on our order. Freddie again very friendly and polite asked me to have a seat while he checks with the kitchen. A very rude and loud person who was doing the cooking started screaming and shouting at him. I then got upset about the way he was treating Freddie and said that I did not appreciate his tone and manner and that this behaviour is definitely not good for any business in these trying times. By the way Johan was standing by with his back to us all the time not saying a word. And i was not chasing anybody and was happy to wait for my order. So no reason for the gut in the kitchen to go off like that. By the way our order was then obly ready at 12:15! Quality of food was good. Lemon butter sauce not nice and tasty as always. Too salty and too little lemon.

Great food, friendly staff. Would highly recommend. It's much better than any other ocean basket I've ever eaten at.

The food is not bad but the food is not the problem. At times they mix up orders. I would not recommend them in terms of service. I cannot say my experience with them have been great.

This place has had a revamp the decor is fresh and clean, and the space is more effectively used and the service was also jacked up Our food was very good and rapidly served

Today 14 November 2021 will be our last visit to Ninapark OB. We've been loyal clients on a monthly basis, sometimes twice a month at this OB since it was still in Northpark. Bad service, no bread for starters, watery Pina Coladas, dirty floors and toilets just to name a few .

In the beginning the place was amazing, prices matched the amount of food you get. It was absolutely amazing there. But it didn't stand the test of time unfortunately, prices rised and the food amount lowered, so you payed more for less food from my experience. I hope to come back with a better experience. Really loved this place.

I went there to get takeout lunch and the food was underwhelming. The chips felt rough and the fish had butter sauce on them which was something I didn't ask for... The waitress that helped me had a bit of an attitude to top it off the take out did not have any condiments.

The fish still had scales. Not even a few. My mouth was filled with them. The chips had like a double thick outside layer. With food like this, I'm shocked they are still open.

Disgusting service.... Platter that was brought to us had rotten prawns, the manager came past and look reluctant to change it, we had to have her smell the prawns... She then got the point and changed the platter wasting another 30mins of our time and then brought a new platter, when asked to review the bill.. meaning give us a possible discount for the trouble and having us eat disgusting rotten food.... She had a whole attitude, and made it clear that she already didn't charge us for the rotten food.... Really??? Rude women!! No wonder there is no customers here and the business is dieing!! Will never come back!! The waiter however was very helpful and polite

We had a two way platter of sushi. The sushi was okay, not exactly as accurately cut and symmetrical as one expects but the ingredients were fresh. The overall experience was ruined by our waitress mostly who was really cold and was never around. We politely greeted her when we got in and she didn't respond. If she did it wasn't warm or loud enough to hear. We had send messages to her via the other waitor. She took forever to get the dirty dishes off the table.

It's not up to standard. They forgot to give us the 3rd sauce for starters and the brought dirty glass.

We don't get much sushi in Gaborone, so we were pleasantly surprised to find an Ocean Basket so close to our hotel. Hit the spot!

Poor service ,very rude when i told them the coffe had a burned flavor the server told me I am wrong although I have many years of experience in coffee making ,service took long when we asked to give as a a min or two it turned into alot môre ,not the first incident of bad service .Wil not visit again
