We
stayed
two
days
in
Al
Ain
with
our
family
after
a
longer
stay
in
Abu
Dhabi
as
a
getaway
and
to
check
out
what
Al
Ain
has
to
offer.
As
we
are
loyal
to
Marriott,
we
chose
the
Aloft
Hotel
as
our
Homebase.
That
was
a
big
mistake.
During
our
stay,
a
sports
event
took
place,
which
made
a
stay
in
our
room
unbearable.
They
had
a
big
basketball
court
set
up
right
in
front
of
our
room.
And
when
I
say
right
in
front,
I
mean
RIGHT
IN
FRONT.
Loud
(very
loud)
music
and
games
going
on
until
12
a.m.
at
night
made
sleeping
impossible
till
that
time.
(We
were
traveling
with
our
2
yo
son...)
Also,
all
the
players
stayed
at
the
hotel,
so
the
hotel
was
packed
and
a
room
change
was
impossible.
Breakfast
also
was
a
disaster
due
to
the
many
people.
It
felt
like
a
train
station.
We
politely
complained
after
the
first
night,
the
staff
really
tried
their
best
I
have
to
say
in
their
defense,
but
no
room
change
possible.
If
such
events
take
place,
guests
must
be
informed.
We
would
definitely
not
have
booked
that
hotel,
because
we
came
to
Al
Ain
for
quiet
and
peace,
not
for
action
and
basketball.
After
check
out,
we
were
told,
that
the
issue
would
be
escalated
to
the
management
for
compensation.
That
was
two
weeks
ago,
of
course
nothing
happened,
so
now
this
review
unfortunately
stands.
Marriott,
we
are
definitely
used
to
a
better
service
and
better
communication!!
I
cannot
recommend
the
ALoft
in
Al
Ain.
