We had a nice Sunday morning breakfast there. Its good selection of breakfast options at very good prices...however they don't have a kids menu and if you have a kid it can get very loud inside for them....so maybe avoid if you are looking for a more relaxing breakfast with kids...

A good example of a business trying to maximize its fame the wrong way: too many tables, too loud, unfriendly slow unhelpful waiters, mediocre food. What happened? It was such a nice place before. They simply can't take care of the amount of customers they are getting now, the way they used to before. Sorry, not coming back.

1- Quality of food It was tasty. No doubts on that. It just came a little late than expected. 2- Staff They were friendly, but when we asked for some more bread, it took then 8 mins to bring them. In the meantime, our meal got cold 3- Portion of the food Personally, the price and the portion of the food don't match much because the food wasn't satisfying in terms of filling up the stomach.

If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast place, cozy and casual this is the one. The food was delicious, and I’m not exaggerating in any way, every dish looks picture perfect, and the flavors are at the same level. And the prices are really good, not expensive at all. @fitstyle_maria

Cool place for spending time. It's always crowded. there's no need to recommend 😊 everyone know about it. I ordered only a smoothie- which is very green and very healthy.

The waiters seem to be smoking something, they are like in a world of their own working in slow motion, very inattentive. The food took about 30 mins to prepare a very simple order and the quality was mediocre. The pulled beef sandwich barely had any meat, just bread and a few sprinkles of beef. Don't ever order the sweet potato fries this dry and overcooked. The prices are way too high for this kind of food which I would classify as cafeteria food not a proper restaurant. The only good thing they have is the cookies next to the cashier.

Nice place to work remotely for the day. Food and coffee is decent. Breakfast options are probably better than lunch/dinner. Price is reasonable. Service could be a little more attentive

I love coffee shops that are not too deliberately exuberant, and excessively over the top with their decor, and forced smiles. This coffee shop does the opposite. Very atmospheric, and a great place to chill, and study. I will be a regular at this joint!

I love this place and it's vibes. The colors, lighting, food, everything is vibrant and happy, just like the name implies. I have visited both branches in motor city and thanya and both give the same feeling. Their coffee is good and the cups have generous amount. The food is fresh and flavorful. Over my visits i have tried different dishes from breakfast, lunch, desserts and beverages. The truffled mushrooms with poached eggs are simply amazing, the portion is on point and the flavors are bursting. The acai bowls are a must try, generous and creative with toppings. It's always a good place to go with friends.

The place is so aesthetically pleasing and has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Although the food is average in my opinion, I find myself coming back to it. It's great to sit there with friends and have a coffee together.

Great food. The Omlette was really good . We ordered the brekka board and pistachio waffle . Coffee is also good. Overall ambience is very nice. Some open seating outside which is good if the weather is nice. Ice cream was really creamy and nice.. paid parking after 2 hrs.

Nice cafe with some good food. The service was quite good. I searched quite a bit for places that gives breakfast earlier in the morning then I found this gem after some searching. I would have still preferred an earlier breakfast and this place was already quite full when I got there. Parking is 10 Aed an hour but the first 2 hours are free

Personally I always prefer pancakes to be served warm. Moment they came out cold I knew it wasn't going to hit the spot. Average and not fluffy at all. Mocha was also not warm. Expected better food service especially with the restaurant not being busy at all. Surely lots of improvement required. Plus the menu looked old, beat down and hasn't been changed for years.

Great location, situated at the heart of Motor City. Interesting food choices to a certain extent HOWEVER, dining in can be quite a nightmare. I’ve done both dine in and delivery on a number of occasions wanting to give it several chances, and I can honestly say that despite the nice interiors and bustling atmosphere, this will be the last for me. - Service is quite lackluster and slow with poor communication. - The food is inconsistent, taste and texture wise (they seem to have little regard for my egg preferences, insisting on serving whatever works despite of my requests). - My meal came in late and the lack of utensils was realized similarly too. Should you insist on going and trying it out do note that: - Parking nearby can be a pain. Park on the opposite side of the road or take the turn before the Ribbon strip and find one there. - There’s a big chance you will be on the queue for dining in. So if you can, call before or come earlier.

We had ordered from Friend's avenue cafe online before. This was the first time we visited the place, busy on a Sunday morning however, the food was good. We ordered pancakes, shakshouka and english breakfast platter. Service was good, server was friendly and food was delicious

We loved everything about the cafe. Our breakfast was fresh and perfect in quantity and quality for the price. Irene who served us was so lovely, charming, and attentive, she brought together our whole experience. And the very generous serving of tiramisu was one of the best we’ve ever had. Added to my favorites in Dubai, will definitely return for more.

We always have a good dinning experience at Friends Avenue. Friendly staff and our breakfast was delicious.

I go there time to time. I must say recently service improved and they got new guys with the right attitude. Unfortunately previously every time I went there I never liked team attitude. I’m glad it is different now with new team members in the operation. Food is always delicious. Keep it up.

One of my go-to places to have a quick friendly meeting, or a catch up with friends and even to work from for a couple of hours - the green morning bowl for breakfast + truly superfood salad for lunch are my favorite. The service is average - friendly staff but very very slow paced and difficult to grab their attention to see you whether the place is busy or not.

Good quality food, generous portions, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Friends Avenue is my new go-to breakfast place. I ordered the queen’s breakfast and it was indeed queen-y. The coffee was super good, the atmosphere was really nice, and the service was impeccable. I have made a deal with my friends that we visit it every Saturday to try out the entire menu!

This place vibes were immaculate, staff were friendly and professional & the food was good especially the pulled beef Benedict, totally recommend this place 👍🏼👍🏼
