A professionally designed building that looks a little more than 15 years old but is in a very good shape inside out, the team of this hospital is very well educated and the doctors are very helpful and friendly, we have visited both the bones (orthopedics ) and the x-ray . Both was good and the waiting time didn’t exceed the 20 minutes. We had good experience in the facilities (parking and wheelchair) the hospitality was good too

I will now not be paid for working today as a result of Dar Al Shifa not sending the swab on time. I have done many PCRs because of travel and have never experienced such incompetence. The reception staff are clueless and they dont call back when they promise. When you ask to speak to a manager they are never available. Not professional at all.

I was there yesterday with a friend, the staff is friendly and polite, doctors are helpful and communicates very well with the patient. anyway, they are extremely over-priced, and you will end up paying much more than what they said you would.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I reserved an appointment and had the payment taken from my account but their system didn't place the appointment. They stole my money and their call center were no help at all. First and last time I deal with them.

A hospital is about hospitality, Dar Alshifa is not a hospital. Very poor management. Government sector provides a much much better experience. Too long waiting. Full car parking all the time. Not punctual in appointments. Not respectful staff.

Worst management and policies. They offer me job and shared offer letter and at the time of joining they withdrawn offer letter. they are not responding my calls, messages. Now I am jobless because of them. I left well paid job because of them, and they simply told offer letter is withdrawn. Is it that easy to play with someone’s career.. Beware!!

What a wonderful hospital with very helpful staff. Everyone was friendly, from the moment you enter the hospital to when you leave. Excellent service. Only problem is the extremely tiny and very busy pharmacy, but the pharmacists are friendly and helpful, even though they work in such a busy and cramped area. *update - the new expanded pharmacy is amazing! So glad they've made it bigger

One of the most professional private hospitals in Kuwait. The medical doctors are well known, the facilities are very advanced, the lounges are comfortable, and parking is available. Honestly, this is best hospital I’ve been to in Kuwait so far.

Dar Al Shifa Hospital in Kuwait is a well-established medical facility known for its quality healthcare services. It offers a wide range of medical specialties and has a team of skilled doctors, nurses, and staff dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The hospital is equipped with modern facilities and advanced medical technology to ensure the best possible treatment for patients. If you have any specific questions or need more information about Dar Al Shifa Hospital, feel free to ask! 🏥😊 I recently had an amazing experience at this hospital. The medical care was top-notch, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the facilities were spotless. From the moment I walked in, I felt well taken care of. The doctors and nurses were knowledgeable and compassionate, making sure to address all of my concerns. The entire staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and stress-free. The hospital was well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the facilities. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care. They truly prioritize patient well-being and provide exceptional service. Keep up the great work!

Worst hospital in appointments. They need to change their staff who are managing the appointments. They will give you a time and when you arrive they will say the doctor is busy hes not accepting patients!

The 1 stars goes to the receptionist and the staff on the the hospital. However, this was the worst experience ever I have faced in any medical Center here in KWT. It was with the ENT doctor, whom I visited with my 3 old kid with a critical case in tonsils and and Adenoid. And needs an urgent Surgery. I came with x-ray and other test . And instead of taking about my child case, started criticising how other doctors in Kuwait doing such a surgery in such a way! Then I asked to understand that mean my kid first surgery was wrong or what ( my kid had a surgery in 2022 for the same but he became sick after 9 month again) that’s why we are visiting doctors for advice. Anyway I have ignored such criticism, I care now about my son. He explained the way he will use by adding such a medical tube in my son ears to prevent liquid accumulation behind the ear drum. Here I got panicked, just need to understand, he didn’t like my reaction saying , no one told you about this before, my answer was No. he commented how, it’s common in the world since years. Anyway, I won’t argue with him in such medical procedures. But my following question was to get comfort of what will happen to my son . And honestly he was answering, but the chock is after 2 questions, he cut me saying, I can’t explain to you all the Scientific facts about this , you have this ( and gave me a photocopied brochure to read) you can read it and decide whenever you want. He added , also your time is 20 mins only , and now you are more than 20 minutes!!! Like your time is over leave! I had nothing to say except thanks and I took my son and left! It’s my right to know what’s entering my son’s body, I have the right to ask as much as making me comfortable and feel my son is safe , reading a paper won’t give me this . And such attitude is acceptable if I’m begging, not for a patient in a private hospital! A mistake and will never be repeated in visiting this hospital

Take your blood pressure on entry to the hospital as usual. After couple of hours in the hospital, take your blood pressure again. Then you will know the treatment you receive in the hospital premises . Didn't need to repeat the blood pressure or go to the emergency in Dar Al Shifa Hospital. Keep up the good work and team spirit.

I had broken ankle, took 5 hrs to see dr, get xray, review results, get cast, get meds. For a regular appt visit usually takes 2 hrs at least to see dr & get meds. + They put on the cast wrong & refuse to fix it next day after hurting my foot, they asked to pay for removing their mistake & for making new cast. Their dr said medical mistakes happen even in operations & money is still paid, its hospital policy. You are a bag of money to them.

The pharmacy was too bust to fill my order so they sent me home with a promise to deliver the medicine in the morning. Morning comes no medicine I go back to the pharmacy and they refuse to fill my order. Giving me the choice to either miss work or sit at home and wait for the delivery.

This is my third complaint, don’t waste your time on this place. My husband’s appointment was at 9:20AM and it’s 11:11AM, still haven’t seen the doctor. They will waste your time and energy and their customer service is awful.

I would like to say my sincere gratitude to Dr. Gerges a highly professional cardiologist of dar al shifa. Despite of his knowledge he is a humble, kind man who speaks very clearly & calmy to his patients. After visiting many gov hospitals for my dad who has undergone cabg surgery he could fine out within few hour the post surgery complications & guided us accordingly even thru phone calls. Forever grateful & hats off to this great man for helping us out.we need such doctors in this world who understand the patients physically, mentally & financially. May he & his families be blessed forever . Thank you doctor & Dar al shifa🤍😇

We come to this hospital for the Doctor whom we found excellent. Registration system, insurance approval are pharmacy are really very time consuming and systems need to be improved. After you book appointment you have to come take a number wait for your registration, after good waiting time tour turn will come then they will ask for CID and insurance cards( this will be asked at every station later xray, pharmacy...etc?) these should be saved in the file. Pharmacy is over crowded, no respect to MOH regulation about social distance or maximum number in an area. Please consider to improve your IT system. Do not forward this , if you want to consider, to you customer service as they need lot of improvement, my last complain was not addressed or called back for years...

This hospital is such an embarrassment! I referred them to a friend because of my previous good experience, but they simply let me down. I can’t believe that their system and service has deteriorated drastically over the years. I definitely wont come back to this hospital after what they did to my friends. Bad service, and un-organized staffs. Don’t waste your time going to this hospital.

I've been to Dar al Shifa Hospital several times, and it's undoubtedly a large and modern facility. The staff, especially those at the information desks and security, were exceptionally helpful, making my visits more comfortable. I received excellent care from the skilled doctors and nurses when I sought support in the ENT and General Surgery departments. However, there are a few issues to note. The hospital's parking lot is consistently full, which can be frustrating. Fortunately, there's an option to park behind the building. One downside is the appointment system; it can be confusing and inconvenient to have to wait in line with people who don't have appointments, even after scheduling one. Additionally, the pharmacy on the ground floor is frequently busy, resulting in longer waiting times. Despite these downsides, the hospital's overall care and support are commendable, and I appreciate the dedicated staff.

I recently underwent an interview for the position of laboratory technician. I possess valuable experience with Head of the laboratory, Dr. Mohammad El Maraghy, and Dr. Lana Habahbeh. Their engagement during the interview was commendable, providing motivation through their articulate communication. The presence of such distinguished doctors in this hospital undoubtedly ensures accurate and precise results in the laboratory , contributing to the delivery of high-quality health services. I extend my sincere gratitude for the opportunity provided by Dr. Mohammad( Head of laboratory) , Dr. Launa( sr specialist) , and Edlyn joy ganzales ,( Recruiting Officer.)

Here's a bit of dark history for you: There was a gene in a woman's body that doctors found that could cure their people. Hence, why we take "shots" "vaccines" but they drained the woman of her blood. Didn't tell her and let her die. I bet my blood cost a lot but you want to bill my currency. No no no. The OBGYN took the blood from my body and decided only to take my blood and wanted me to leave. She convinced my as if she was going to really help me. Told me pregnant woman are more likely to have pulmonary embolism and referenced that I am only eligible for the proper care if I'm traveling. I've been over due on the blood clotting shot. I suffered during my pregnancy. The neurologist tried giving me botox as a treatment plan but I don't deem that necessary. Then the hematologist wants to try sunday. Then they're going to try and bill my American currency. Wasted everyone's time but they think the Arab kuwaitis are the most sinless people. They have a cemetery called the unknown right next to al kout mall. They believe in letting you die because they don't care. I have a science degree and I do my own research. Negligence. Guess what. I can't wait for your stocks to go down. Top currency in the world and still havnt stopped fossil fueling. Barely any trees. Can't breathe. I'm a number. Your king-govern system is worried about being the top but think it's ok to convince individuals to take x-rays with out proper equipment. Even the amount of x-rays that's igniting the free radical cells that basically are the start up of rebel cells. #trump2024 #frozen bank accounts. I am suffering at the hands of aps-5 amentum-kuwait. You all should feel haram for doing this to our people.

Dr. Ahmad Mohamad Hassan Alaeddine, my cardiologist, Nurse Sally and other nurses, and Dar Al Shifa radiology team saved my life by finding a minor artery that was 95% blocked and providing a stent procedure on time. I am now in the US and the doctors here are amazed at my quick recovery! Dar Al Shifa is a hospital in Kuwait that expatriates can trust!

I went the hospital because I thought dar alshifa to be the best hospital in kuwait! Apparently it’s not. I had a prescription from my doctor on how many IV bags I needed. I presented it to the everyone starting from the ER receptionist..To be surprised after my treatment that the cost of saline bag cost 20 kd!!! I ended up paying 125 kd including the dr check with I didn’t need! I should have went to sidra hospital instead where I had the same treatment for 35kd!!!! Plus, the insanely long waiting time is just unacceptable 🙃. They need to expand their ER department to include more beds or start refusing service and just letting patients go to a near by hospital!
