This place is amazing and there was hardly anyone there. Be sure to have some small bills for tips as there are a few people that will guide you around certain sections. I'd skip the hunting museum. It's bad taxidermy.

This fascinating palace was constructed by Prince Mohamed Ali Toufic, the fourth grandson of the renowned Mohamed Ali Pasha, the founder of Egypt's most recent royal dynasty, which was concluded by King Farouk. Prince Mohamed Ali served as the heir presumptive and chief regent of the Egyptian throne for a significant period but never ascended to rule himself. The palace and all its annexes bear witness to a remarkable display of luxury, featuring carefully crafted decorations and ornate details. A visit is highly recommended.

A ( unknown)!pearl at the border of the Nile. I had the intention to visit it for 45 min. but I stayed 2 hours. Amazing garden and so quite place in the center of Cairo. The several buildings ( palace / hunting museum/clock tower now mosque / throne palace/….all are well restored and you find information in Arabic and English as well. Only cards are allowed to pay at entrance ( 180 Eg. pound in January 2024) Place to visit !

A palace imbued with history and beautiful craftsmanship of yore. Spend at least 2 hours here, and try to really reflect and take it all in. Look up at the ceilings! It really is a masterpiece. Each room has a different ornamental style, each so interesting. The palace is relatively well-maintained with some areas closed for repairs. The private collections Museum is mostly empty. The taxidermy Museum is fun to see. The gardens are sadly closed off to visitors. Be sure to visit on a cool day, as there is lots of walking and it's quite warm and humid throughout the entire property (even indoors). The tour guides are young students, and I'd have appreciated more knowledge about the subject matter, beyond the superficial facts. Some of the signage is informative, but others aren't as interesting with many grammatical errors.

Beautiful palace, fairly recent in terms of Egyptian history but the beauty and symmetry is all there . Great for those quiet days and situated downtown. Entrance was cheaper than other places . Tour guides were very friendly, not too pushy for money and seemed knowledgeable.

Gorgeous architecture and beautiful gardens! You get a glimpse into a lot of the rooms and luxury of the age. You need only 1-2 hours for this lovely walk. Preferably go in good weather to enjoy the gardens (plus the interiors are poorly ventilated and no air conditioning is in place). Pictures allowed, but videos and professional cameras need special permissions.

The garden is closed, which was a big disappointment. But the Palace is nice. It just needs more written information about the place.

Interesting place. I recommend that you visit it during the morning. It's a nice palace but the gardens aren't accessible. Very interesting interior design and architecture. You'll need a couple of hours to visit it and enjoy the scenery and the multiple sections inside. It's affordable and worth the ticket price. NEVER ASK ANYONE FOR HELP because they'll start telling you details you can actually read and they'll annoy you by constantly asking for tips or money.

A piece of Egyptian history different from the usual circuit. It dates back to a more contemporary age. By hiring a guide we enjoyed modern history and the profound diversity from the ancient kingdom to the present day. You can see the presidential rooms, the house and the embalming museum. For those who want to enter there is also the mosque. The garden is like a botanical garden with plants from all over the world.

You'll need at least two hours to complete the visit, as there are many spots to capture and explore the historical facts behind them. The place closes around 5, make sure you go early in the day. You'll be able to read posters at every corner summarizing the main facts.

Interesting place, though some areas were shut for wedding groups (and they still charged the full admission fee, so check what’s open before entering!) I was given a brief tour of the mosque, which was nice. The furnished house is also very interesting.

This is an absolutely fantastic sight. If you’re ever in Cairo I recommend everyone to go and see it. The only downside is that you cannot see the second floor of the main palace building because it still needs restoration. But the most beautiful part of the palace is definitely the mosque.

One of the modern historical palaces as it was built in 1901, it belongs to the modern Islamic architecture, it has a variety of ceramic walls all over the place, it has a historic watch in its tower that resembles the one located in London, the most wonderful area are the gardens that include Old trees and some rare plants

Great trip to discover the amazing Egyptian history. There are guides there in the place if you need someone to explain the different rooms, their functions and the important events that happened there. Personally i like the ceilings in almost every room and special admiration for the animals and insects room/ corridor. For me, i felt its a documentation for all the species that were in egypt in the 40s. A must see palace.

(Translated by Google) As wonderful as all the palaces of the royal era in Egypt ... But the palace of Muhammad Ali in Al-Manial is unique with its distinctive architectural design that still maintains its splendor, from the colors of inscriptions and ornaments, despite the passage of more than 100 years since the date of its construction (Original)

A significant landmark in Cairo's modern history, yet the spacious palace gardens are severely neglected. The contemporary scattered buildings of the palace are moderately preserved, however information boards lack details and appeal. There's also a small hunting exhibition inside the facility, which should display some of the hunt preys at the time, but there's no information to exhibit which of the displayed animals were hunted at which time and by whom. All in all, this place could be visited on the route of a multi destination trip in order to get less disappointed than I did.

The place was built by a prince of the royal family of Egypt, named Mohammed Ali, not the Great, this prince was the regent of Egypt's throne in the thirties of the past century. He build this palace with the aim for it to be a museum for all Egyptians, as an expression of his love to his country. The style of architecture is strongly affected by Ottoman Islamic arts, you can find the symbol of the Ottoman Empire, the Sun with Rays, all over the place and in the smallest details.

I had an awesome time at Pharaonic Village. The trip was for a total of about 3 hours and I enjoyed every bit of it. I love the experiential setup of the history of Egypt at the village Touring the river Nile (just like I visited the source of the in Jinja, Uganda), it felt so good again having the experience and significance of river Nile. Toilets are placed in strategic locations and the shop had amazing crafts and designs. The meals at the restaurant were good and I enjoyed it. They create a good walking path for differently able people and accessibility is commendable. Anytime you visit Cairo, don't miss the action at the Pharaonic Village. It's worth your time.

A must without a doubt. The experience of this place was seconded to none in the area. Me my wife and our twins went to this living museum last July 2019 and although it was very busy that is only tantamount to its popularity. You will most definitely have to set aside an entire day because for this museum, as there is just so much to see. Many of the exhibits aren't the original article, but then a lot of the smaller items are. Such as the obvious, Tutankhamun show isn't the original tomb. But that didn't detract from the ambiance of the tour. Saying this, the settings being on the neil makes the exhibits seem just that bit more realistic. It's a little on the pricey side, but then it's a big tourist attraction, so not really that different from any other main exhibit in any other big city. Please take a good look at the pictures I've taken as these speak more than any review I could write. I will come again once I'm back in the country. Thank you to all the workers.😘💗

The palace and estate has been preserved as an Antiquities Council directed historic house museum and estate, reflecting the settings and lifestyle of the late 19th- and early 20th-century Egyptian royal prince and heir apparent. The residence compound, composed of five separate and distinctively styled buildings, is surrounded by Persian gardens within an extensive English Landscape garden estate park, along a small branch of the Nile.

WOW!! An amazing experience that I would love to repeat. You can’t come Egypt without experiencing this little gem. Tickets are not expensive and it is worth so much more I don’t mind saying. Prince Mohamed Ali Manial Palace is a beautiful palace. The architecture, the rich history and beauty of it all is awe inspiring. The palace offers a free guide after the purchase of the tickets and it’s well worth it. We got a lovey young girl called Alaa. An amazing, friendly and knowledgeable girl who knows her history and the history of the palace and the Prince. She made the experience all the more worth it and I’m glad we took them up on the offer. The tour went at our pace and I could have spent the whole day there after the tour just exploring everything even more and taking more pictures. I can’t describe the beauty of the walls and ceiling and tiles. The Prince was a religious man and was very knowledgeable in the Holy Quran. In each room of the palace he has Quranic verses inscribed in and around the palace walls in beautifully decorated and colourful tiles. The Prince was an avid art collector and ahead of his time in so many aspects and the love of the Arts and horses is clear to see. The grounds consists of five buildings- The reception palace, The clock tower, The Mosque, The Residence Palace and the Thrown Hall. There’s also a small animal museum. Each and every room is unique with a unique ceiling and doors. A lot of thought and dedication was put into the rooms. Go visit!!

Prince Muhammad Palace overlooks the well-known Museum of the Manial Palace on the island of Rawdat al-Manial and on the shore of the Nile, shining in its beauty among the rest of historical museums in Egypt, where it is considered the most important at all. It is unique in its splendid architectural design, it was built in a modern Islamic style adapted from the Fatimid Islamic Mamluk schools and spread the Persian, Syrian and Moroccan spirit in it, as well as appeared in the decoration of the buildings of the spirit of the Ottoman style so that the museum is considered a comprehensive art school for various elements of Islamic arts. The owner of the palace is Prince Muhammad Ali bin Al Khedive Tawfiq and brother of Khedive Abbas Hilmi II, born in Cairo in 1875 and died outside Egypt in 1954 and the prince obtained high-level Arab and foreign cultures and was a fan of arts in all its forms, especially Islamic ones and practiced by himself some of the arts and was one of the most famous amateurs of education Arab horses with ancient lineages, as he was famous for collecting antiques, relics and valuable holdings, and in this field he had specialized eyes whose job was to search for rare antiques and bring them to the prince to display them at his palace, as the prince was a lover of travel, he made several trips around the world to fold the continents more than once, and without these a For trips in many books is a unique record of the conditions that were in many parts of the world in the early twentieth century. As for Prince Muhammad Ali's political standing, he was the guardian of the throne after the death of his uncle King Fouad I in 1936 until his cousin King Farouk I assumed the rule of Egypt in the same year and the Prince was appointed crown prince until King Farouk gave birth to his son Prince Ahmed Fouad in 1951. The prince's qualities and aspects of his personality were reflected in his palace, so he went out unique in his style, distinguished from the palaces of his peers from the rulers and princes of the family. He started building it in 1901, then he started building residence, then the construction of the rest of the palaces and sections of the palace continued, and the prince put all the engineering and decorative designs supervising himself. The palace is surrounded by a wall built in the style of medieval forts, and it is built of limestone, covered with rectangular pieces. On the north side the fence is guarded by guard terraces, and there are verses of the Qur'an on all areas of the fence, all of which are executed in the prominent Kufic script of the same stone. Several Islamic styles have gathered in the design of the main entrance to the palace. The entrance is located in the reception hall, and it is intended to receive official guests who were visiting the prince in his palace. Between the reception hall and the mosque there is the clock tower that the prince built in the style of the towers in Andalusia and Morocco and these towers were used for guarding and observing purposes and reporting messages to various parties in the country such as media out of the war and news of victories or announcing the start of Arab months and holidays or orders of rulers and others, and messages were communicated With agreed signs of smoke during the day and with fire at night, the message comes out of the main tower and is picked up by the neighboring towers, then each tower translates it to the officials, and so messages are communicated across the country and displayed in a short time. Despite the small size of the mosque that mediates the palace, it is an architectural and decorative masterpiece that is unparalleled. Prince Muhammad Ali gave him special care, both from the outside or the inside. From the outside, the mosque’s surface was decorated with sandstone brides in the shape of life heads (cobra) underneath a strip of The Qur’anic writing of Surat al-Fateh. As for the walls, they are decorated in the form of carpets of different styles and windows in the form of contracts surrounded ..

The number of collected archaeological artifacts is 111, and a small building was subsequently built in the courtyard of the Al-Hakim Mosque called the "Arab Museum" under the administration of Frantzpasha, who left the service in 1892. The current museum building was inaugurated during the reign of Khedive Abbas Helmy II on December 28, 1903. Then, in 1951, the name of the house was changed to the "Museum of Islamic Art." [2] Description of the museumedit The museum has two entrances, one on the northeastern side and the other on the southeast side, which is in use now. The façade of the museum, overlooking Port Said Street, is distinguished by its Islamic decorations inspired by the Islamic architecture in Egypt in its different eras. The museum consists of two floors; The first contains the exhibition halls, the second contains the warehouses and a basement used as a store and the restoration department. The museum contains many archaeological holdings dating back to the Islamic era, which number up to one hundred thousand antique masterpieces [3] (Original)

This place tries to being back a lost era and practices of the ancient Egyptian people. The symbol alphabet, fire making practice, glass blowing, papyrus paper, dressing, cultivation and other ways of life. It has sculptures of various prophets and royalty. It also has the area where Moses was found based on the Bible story. It's like a walk through history with live people replaying the ways of life of the ancient Egyptians. It's very lovely to watch this while being ferried across. We had an English instructor who explained everything as we got to each landmark. After the ferry ride we got into the real village and observed many many things including going into houses of dead royalties and seeing how they lived and some of their personal belongings. The Egyptian culture is one that holds great wonders and never ceases to amaze me each time I'm exposed to it. So if you really want to go back in time to the pharaonic era, this is a must visit for you and also great for photography. Some areas offer ancient wears for you to take pictures with looking like a pharaoh at a price. I'm not sure how much because I didn't partake in this. Enough said, why not take a trip to this village and see for yourself and I'm sure you will love it. I went during the winter so it wasn't so hot staying out for too long.

Muhammad Ali Pasha was the Ottoman governor of Egypt, but he was very independent, but the mosque built by him is also based on Ottoman architecture, and the architecture of his palace is also somewhat Ottoman, especially the Diwan is built on Ottoman architecture. There are pictures of all the Ottoman kings here. Free Egypt was founded in 1922 from their descendants, and the king was from their descendants This family has a lot of hard work in building modern Egypt۔

One of the most beautiful palaces in Egypt, the historical interior design inside the palace resembles perfection and beauty of royalty, the palace has 3 halls, the residence, the Meeting hall and the hunting hall. You can also enjoy the view of the huge royal garden and the visit the Masjid that the royal family used to pray in. Beautiful place

The architecture, roof and furniture of this place are instance. Inside it has a nice coffe shop, outside arrangement of table and rest is very comfortable. A mosque and a small museum with several historic presentation like skeleton of last camel which carried thele gold stiched gown for KABAH at Mecca. Otoman, England, France and Egyptian representation with different islamic design. Very Calm and nice place.
