Tha rating is based on the staff service and not the quality and taste of their food. The staff are always in a bad mood :) and give the customers an impression as if they are forced to work. Out of the tens of times i visited this branch, i never saw them smiling or helpful. Their sweets are very tasty and good and their birthday cakes are the best.

Well after reading review i have realized that i am not the one who experienced bad attitude from staff. I visited salmiya branch many times for buying cake stuffs. always i experience bad attitude especially filipino staff. I never want to go where staff dont know how to behave with customers. The Quality and taste of mr baker is awesome but its useless when you have bad staff who don’t actually know how to serve service to the customer.

Love their chocolate cakes, they have the best cakes in town always fresh and well decorated and designed this place is perfect for everyone and every occasion!

Excellent but crowded today.

This review is about the attitude of the service staff, and not the quality or taste of their products. The worst part is that there is no management contact number to report such behaviour of the staff. Who do you want us customers to talk to when we have a problem. To the staff themselves?? I went there directly after Friday prayers today, along with my 11 year old daughter whose birthday it is today. The staff (Mara and Ivy) barely even acknowledged our presence. I even said a 'Hello' when I entered the store but no response. Since it was directly after Friday prayers, I was in my traditional Indian dress and not dressed in western attire. But that is still not acceptable. I eventually did but not one but two cakes since my daughter wanted. Doubt if I will ever go to this branch again. If Mr. Baker management would like to talk to me, I request them to post a response and I will give them a call myself.

I got the below cake for my parents and honestly it’s the best mango cake . On the top it’s cheese not mango slices but overall it’s really yum .

Very disappointed... I visited Mr Baker slamiya this morning at 11.30am.. Not sure your outlet was open or not there were many racks on the floor bringing the items.. One lady was working sorting that and other girl behind the conter.. No greeting / no smiling at all.. Felt not welcome but we have come to do something bad for them... No respect..once i settle the amont and get my thing purposely i said thank you, didnt get any reply just face with no impression.. No doubt that Mr Bakers has very good stuff but need to understand customer service will bring back the guests.. I will not visit the place again

I love his cake so much and I wish they bring back the Oreo and Lotus cakes too. For the first time I tried their jilato cake, I bought macarons one it was yummy and very light, it is very good for few visitors or a family with kids. I also baught from their chocolates box, it was chocolate with Qamar Aldeen (Apricot), I can't describe the taste because I am in love with it and I can't resist buying it all the time.

Amazing taste, reasonable prices and professional service

PROS- Big and beautiful bakery shop, focusing mainly on cakes and sweets gift packs. There are a few savoury items as well. Cakes are beautiful and fresh but quite overpriced. You can also choose to buy gelatos in various flavours. CONS- its mainly for take-away; there is one sitting corner & that too needs to be booked in advanced.

Good Flavors and Taste... Quiet pricy but worth the quality and taste.... Life is Sweet :)

We got cake for my son last year, they made a mistake with printing picture as they made 2 halves instead of one bigger picture, this year we got cakes again from their, they do have good stuff, but I didnt ask for the sauce ice paid for upfront i would definitely ended up going without one... very unattractive. The told me they would call me when my cakes had arrived. No one called, I had to call them to check on my order which was already in the store... the first time we ordered berry cake, its dry, I bought a sauce with it- so it was ok to eat. I read comments about the manager and totally agree about him behaving as he owns the store... didn't like the way he deals with customers. Personally I am done with this store.
