An interesting fort that should take about 45 minutes to visit. It was very quiet when I was there, possibly due to the excessive summer heat. Perhaps I’m the only one crazy enough to visit in that heat. I wandered around and took some photo’s and generally enjoyed my visit. Make sure this fort is on your list to visit when in the area.

One of the oldest and most important forts in the emirate. It is located on a raised hilltop overlooking the city with the view of the ocean beyond. A good view available 360 degrees from the elevation. The Fort is supposed to have been erected in the early 16th century and then rebuilt in the late 17th century. It has gun turrets all around the Fort with vantage points to counter any attack from any direction. Has been well restored with some modern eminities such as electricity. There is a guide book available at the entrance along with an area map and tourist info leaflets. Entrance is free. The local caretaker cum guide is helpful and takes you around. The Museum is also within the complex compound and can be visited.

Just around only 5 kms from fujairah Town, this historical Fort was built somewhere in the 16th century. We visited at around 5 o clock in the evening which is the best time to visit . Its a well maintained Fort where you can see the inside of the Fort as well , without any restrictions. Ample parking space and washrooms are also available.

Tourist attractions , neat and clean place , fort is the main attraction , evening vibe is superb. Its feels a small hiking to reach the top of the fort. The inside view gives an ancient feel of the Arabian culture. Feel the breeze is a nice feeling at the place. Beautiful place for hangout for family. A lot of parking space is available at the down area of the fort valley. Better to keep a bottle of water when you start go the top of the fort.

An amazing place to visit with kids. It is well maintained. Some old ruins of buildings are there. i feel it is safe place to visit and good thing is there is no entry fee. do take water or small snacks if you want to stay longer. An old mosque is also there where you can offer prayer as well. Due to corona ablution facility is not there in mosque

it's a ruin of the ancient Arabic, free to visit. The view from the fort, at the sunset is good. There is nothing else the fort, I saw some construction besides while they're trying to build the old village. Good place, good walk

Fujairah Fort is a historical fort located in the city of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. The fort is believed to have been constructed in the 16th century, and has since undergone several renovations and restorations. The fort is now open to the public, with visitors able to explore the various rooms and towers, and learn about the history and culture of the area. As someone who has visited Fujairah Fort, I highly recommend it as a must-see attraction for anyone interested in history and architecture. The fort is beautifully preserved, with stunning views of the surrounding city and mountains. The exhibits inside the fort offer an interesting look into the history and culture of the region, and are well worth taking the time to explore. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Fujairah Fort for anyone interested in exploring the rich history and culture of the United Arab Emirates.

It’s free to enter. Its a nice stop if you are in Fujairah. Time spent here: around 15-20min. You can climb on one of the tower and see the city. There was a polite guy who gave us a mini tour around the fort.

This was a fantastic example of an Arab fort maintained since ancient times. It was surprising we were the only ones visiting in the morning. The caretaker of the fort was extremely friendly and introduced us to the different aspects of the fort and allowed us to view different areas where people used to use them. The prison and work that prisoners do (making dates juice) was the most interesting use of the fort. If you climb to the top of the fort, you can also overlook the ancient village beside which is also a preserved ground.

Like any other Fort, its well preserved. Wish some history was written about it. It was clean. There r high steps to climb n a slope area too. They have made provision for toilets etc too.

This is a very well-kept fort that provides a great view. It is unattended at this time and you can walk about the fort with no problem. It looks like they are rebuilding part of the old city and structures out the side of the fort. There are no memorabilia to see no or any displays at this time. There is a very ean washroom.

👍👍 The place is spectacular. Preferably if you go there on your own to do a full study on your hiking trail and you may use Wikiloc for directions; it also works offline. It's such a great experience for sunrise hiking or for some mountain biking, too. It has some great sightseeing, too.
