Al Raugh Tunnel is the 1st tunnel located on khurfkan road if you are driving from Sharjah to khurfkan and precisely between Al- Musafi to Khurfkan. Out of 5 tunnels which also named initially as Diftah - Shish Tunnels this is the 3rd largest in this series and single tube length is about 1.3 KM Driving from sharjah to khurfkan it is the 1st tunnel you will find. Speed limits vary between 60 Km to 120 Km In this Tunnel speed limit is 100 Km/h. Newly opened tunnels have all the modern facilities required for roads are available.

Remember - Fill petrol before entering to this new road. New Khorfakkan Road not yet updated in google maps (updated on 25th april 2019). From Dubai to Ras al khaimah, Take exit from Emirates road E611 to khorfakkan Road S142 and then straight road to Khorfakkan. New Road Opened on 13th April 2019. Thanks to sultan. Please Note: New Khorfakkan road- GAS STATION, WASH ROOM, Restaurant and cafeteria not available. All 5 tunnels opened and night time street light available. Now travel between khorfakkan to sharjah reduced to 45 mins. Speed limit - 120km/hr, 100 km/hr , Mountatin area 60 km/hr, tunnel 40 km/hr. Follow the speed limit, radar installed all locations, drive safely.

Longest tunnel in UAE. You can reach khorfakkan easily by this tunnel. Couple of tunnels you can see on the way. After 2nd tunnel take right narrow road, you can wadi shis ( video in my youtube channel pls check : Ditto Raju )
