Amazing experience… cold welcome towel at reception was a nice touch, beautiful rooms in tents, a fabulous buffet for breakfast and dinner. They give you complementary water, coffee and tea (other beverages available for additional cost). We took advantage of the free car ride to the top of the dunes to watch the sunset both nights. Definitely recommend getting there before sunset your first night. We stayed two nights and it was perfect as we had a lazy day of reading in our rooms to beat the heat and we treated ourselves to a couples massage which was definitely worth it!! Great massage! We also did the complementary camel ride in the morning (it’s only 5 mins but that was enough for me). They have a lovely outdoor seating area with couches and lights. The whole experience was magical so I’d definitely recommend! In terms of getting there, super easy. The pin on GoogleMaps is correct. Find this sign in the city and then drive straight for 11km and you’re there!

Beautiful camp which all family members including the kids (7 & 3 years) enjoyed a lot. The family had lots of fun with the Sunset ride, Sand Boarding, Quad bike drive and Camel ride. And the kids finally got to see real stars at night. No TV at the room, but the window view was amusing enough; seeing four wheel cars attempts to climb the dunes (room 18 & 19). The temperature at night went low and early morning was around 18 degrees.

Stunning camp! Our second time in this magic place we enjoyed every minute from the activities, the spa, the excellent food and staff. The room had an outstanding swimming pool for the hottest hours. We will definitely come back

Fantastic place with awesome helpful staffs and full of varies activities. We stayed here for only one night which clearly not enough. Sunset was very beautiful. Nice dinner with Arabian live music from local and watching world cup match on big screen was memorable experience. Surly will come back again with longer stay. Love Desert night camp.

Really nice and unforgettable experience I had at the Desert Night Resort. Staff was so friendly, specially the General Manger of the Resort is very humble and helpful person. From the arrival, the staff made a good impression about the resort. The buffet, activities ane all other arrangements were excellent. Highly Appreciated their effort. Really worth to stay at this resort.

Desert Night Camps at Wahiba Sands is an incredible experience that I highly recommend. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the range of activities on offer is impressive. From camel rides to sandboarding, there is something for everyone. The highlight, however, has to be the buffet dinners, which are absolutely delicious and offer a great selection of local and international dishes. The accommodations are comfortable and well-appointed, and the desert landscape is truly breathtaking. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience in Oman, look no further than Desert Night Camps at Wahiba Sands.

Luxury at its best. I normally stay in places that are modest and cozy when I travel, but while traveling in Oman, I decided to take two nights and stay in a nice resort. It didn't disappoint. The setting was spectacular, and certainly made the whole experience. Your stay, about 2 miles from the town of Al Wasil, includes evening excursions to the top of the dunes to watch the sunset. The rooms are beautiful and cozy. You'll get to stare into the vast desert dunes from the comfort of your room. The food is also fabulous with so many choices of dishes. There is definitely something for everybody.

Truly an out worldly experience. Beautiful resorts villa. And superb sand dunes all around. Enjoyed the sand dunes bashing and quad bike exploration

The camp is too close to the city, so there isn’t a great view of the night sky. In addition the staff always gave the impression of trying to take advantage of you… the only place in Oman I’ve experienced such thing! Normally, people there are lovely.

OMG!! Incredible, amazing, enchanting! Totally out of this world experience. I wish we could have stayed longer. Serene and tranquil! Definitely get there an hour or two before sunrise. Complimentary SUV transport to the top of sand dunes to experience desert sunset. Outdoor cinema till 11pm. Dinner and breakfast buffet is scrumptious, plentiful, with tons of variety and choices. Live music by Omani musicians/singers for 3 plus hours thru dinner. Outdoor dinner under the star lit night sky. Complimentary Camel 5-7 minute ride after breakfast. Plenty of paid extra activities, including sand bashing and ATV quads. All types of drinks are not included in the menus, except orange and apple juicer at breakfast. Rooms/tents are rustic but extremely luxurious with hot showers. Deluxe tents are basically equipped for two with a king bed. They can place an extra single/twin bed in the living room for extra cost. Excellent wifi and cellular service. Perfect honeymoon resort or just to getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the cities. You do need to preferably go there in a 4 wheel drive. About 11 km of dirt/ sandy path to the resort. We are already planning to make a second trip with kids for at least a couple of nights. Polite and helpful staff. Lastly, it is definitely fairly expensive, but worth every dime. May thru July is off session, a bit more affordable, but real hot.

Definitely 4-star experience. Surprised that such place exists close to muscat area (almost 2 hr plus drive) Highlights are : spacious luxury rooms, clean bathrooms, good quality food (both dinner and breakfast - impressed with variety and taste, will cater pak/indian, american, asian and european needs), staff friendliness, activities (free ride to top of sabd dune for sunset view, quad biking tours etc.), a family of 4-5 can easily accomodate in one room with extra beds (premier villas), villas with pool was good for our kids age 8 and less (we took one villa with pool as our group had a few kids) Opportunities to improve : customer service at front desk (some lies and manueuvering to get bookings for activities, were told 2 guides for 8 people quad biking but only one guide given which was not good for group of 8, will suggest one guide for max 4 individuals, though great experience with quad biking), little pricey (roughly 300-320 omr per room with kids including dinner and bkfst) though we went on a busy day of the holidays

Great place, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Delicious dinner and breakfasts and a good amount of activities. Lovely that there is some complementary activities but lots to do and definitely worth the price.

If ever you are in the desert and you want to feel at home, then this is the place to be. The tents are amazing, beds super comfortable and the food/service incredibly outstanding! It is simply a magical oasis in the desert! Kudos to GM Anurin Jansen and his team who does an excellent job in keeping the guests happy in the midst of Wahiba sands!

Luxurious place between sand dunes in the Wahiba Sand Desert. 15 min drive from Bidiyah town. 4WD might be required and there is some sandy parts on the way but nothing crazy. Food / buffet is very good, not what I expected in the desert but I take it. They offer some activities. Room are luxurious but didn't like the beddings (mattresses and pillows not great). Very nice place for tourists who want a food in the dunes but enjoy a luxurious resort.

What an experience! One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. The staff is amazing, the food is absolutely great and can't believe the quality of accomodation you get in the desert. Truely a great experience

Was a delight staying at the camp. The staff is extremely welcoming and accomodating. Even the sunset tour and quad biking experience was wonderful. Special mention to the chef and management to prepare a vegetarian BBQ spread just for 2 guests during our stay. Will definitely visit the camp again.
