I had a wonderful stay at Layaali Amman Hotel! At 2 am, I arrived at Amman Airport. A very polite driver welcomed me and safely brought me to the Hotel. He also taught me some Arabic words. In the Hotel, I was warmly greeted by a really friendly receptionist. She did everything, so I felt welcomed. She also quickly fixed something in my room so I could sleep tight. Furthermore, her humour was outstanding, and we had a great chat. The following day, another receptionist, Dina, made my day! She was exceptionally hospitable and thoroughly answered my questions concerning the dress code and Jordanian culture. It almost felt like talking to a friend, which was an extraordinary experience. Dina was also very helpful in organizing a safe trip to my new apartment. I appreciate her effort and politeness a lot. I would recommend the Hotel to other guests.

Great location, directly across the street from the Roman theater. Also, there is a free parking lot nearby which was super convenient. Nothing luxurious but it was clean, staff was friendly and safe location. Great pit stop if you plan on passing through Amman while visiting Jordan.

I stayed here with my family and it was perfect for our visit to Amman. Its close to the west end and for walking up to rainbow Street. Its a budget hotel but clean and friendly staff. Rooms are a reasonable size. Most overlook road. You can hear the road but it's not too bad with triple glazing. Rooms at the back are quieter for example room 201. We were in room 105 which had a very small balcony. There is parking over the other side of the road. There's a roof terrace which has good views over the city. We recommend having a meal at Sufra on rainbow Street.

I am satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The location is fantastic, close to the city's biggest attractions. The room was clean. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was tasty. The only downside is the lack of parking. The public parking lot across the street is not safe because our car window was broken in that parking lot.

Where to start?? 1st, hospitality was A+. The staff will go out of their way to make sure you feel at home and get around Amman with ease. My room had a view of the Roman Theater, very nice. I had breakfast one day and was very satisfied. I found a restaurant one block from the hotel and dined nightly. The location is ideal, with many attractions nearby. I highly recommend Layaali!!! When I return, I'll only stay here. English language was also helpful with my many questions. If you need anything, they HELP!!

Good location in front of the Roman Theater. There are plenty of options to lunch, dinner and so on within 20 minutes by foot. It's close to Citadel as well. The staff is friendly and breakfast is very good.

Good location, right by the Roman Theatre and a short walk to the Citadel. The rooms were very clean and food delicious with a lot of choice. The rooftop terrace had the best view of the city.

(Translated by Google) Hotel well maintained, Baba and his staff are very kind and available for every need, clean rooms, lots of services available to guests, fresh and abundant buffet breakfasts, a very central location right in front of the Roman theater and under the citadel and quality ratio - great price. In short, super recommended! The room had a contemporary feel and had pleasant lighting unlike many hotels we have stayed at ( bedside lights)and was comfortable. Nice bathroom. The breakfast was superb with fresh savoury and sweet foods available. The chef was always very welcoming and helpful. Free help yourself coffees, teas, herbal teas at reception. Dinah the receptionist( and others too) was super friendly and so cheerful and spoke good English! Also I spoke to the manageress who took my concern seriously when one night there was some very loud deafening sound for an hour. She said it might have been the bakery and said she would find out and sort the issue. We had 3 nights there and the last two were undisturbed. We would recommend this hotel , very near to downtown ( no hills at all to climb , at same level) where all the life and restaurants are. Just one downside is that it's right on the very busy stretch of Hashemi road and the levels of pollution is high.. Had a great stay all the same !

Excellent situated in the center of Amman, opposite Roman Amphitheater and 30 minutes walk to Citadel. The street is very busy so the room can be little noisy. The Reception staff are all amazing and friendly and helpful, they have complimentary tea and coffee at reception which is a nice touch. AC working perfectly, same the hot water. Not big difference between rooms with balcony or without balcony, as the balcony is very small and take from the room space (so rooms without balcony are quiet bigger).Breakfast is delicious, Chef Mama is very kind and friendly. They have lots of tea , which I was impressed because I like drinking tea. It would be nice to serve their traditional coffee as well...I stayed 2 nights and I really enjoy it.

GOOD: Location is great, a few steps from the Roman Amphithetre and you can walk down from the Citadel to the hotel in 10 min. Breakfast was very good, (thank you to the chef couple). And the room was confortable, with a good view and insulated windows. NOT SO GOOD: Months before we asked for a two-bed bedroom, well we received a one bed bedroom. So we have a chaotic check in because they have to move beds, with all our luggage already in the room. They don't give free bottles of water. Hey! Do you realize your hotel is in a city in the middle of the desert? Don't be greedy.

The hotel is situated in the old city, closer to Roman theater and Amman citadel, you can walk from the hotel so you don't need to get a taxi. The hotel is very clean and neat, reception is very nice and helpful, they provide free coffee and tea, water, chocolates etc. We were given a nice room with a view. Breakfast was great, it's an Arabic breakfast but I really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Parking is not next to the hotel but walking distance, like 50-75m.

The staff throughout the hotel were really friendly and went out of their way to help us, they even gave us a takeaway breakfast for our long bus journey. They also helped us with a private day tour at a great price. A lot of westerners stay here, superb location! Highly recommended.

We loved this hotel. It was close to all attractions and felt very safe. The staff were helpful and kind. The room was very clean and all amenities we needed were provided. The breakfast was great for an economical hotel. Thank you so much.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Amman. We got a room earlier and it was even better than I expected (it was an upgrade to a room with a balcony). The man that welcomed us was very nice and friendly as well as Tina - The Lady who was there while check-out. Good, basic brekfast. There is nothing I could complain about. Thank you :)

Great place for the price, Our room with balcony was clean and had amazing view of Roman theater from 3rd floor, though it was facing a busy street it's well insulated so minimum noise from the traffic outside, TV is satellite so you can find some English channels there is also a decent size fridge in the room with freezer. Very good aircon, location couldn't be better, there is a grocery shop with fair prices just downstairs. Kaza the owner was very helpful, polite and happy to see us every time we past the reception. There is a rooftop seating area that's nice at sunset.

Amazing location near the city center, you get water for free, people working in hotel are so nice and they help you with everything. Definitely worth staying at Layaali when in Amman. Parking is at the free parking lot on the other side of the road. Nearby there are in walking distance citadela, roman theatre, stores, market, restaurants, ATMs- basically everything needed for stay and city discovery. And they offer free guided tour of the market daily!

    - In the middle of downtown. Where there are a lot of shopping / eating places. Cafes are in abundance. - right opposite to Roman theatre. One can just cross the road and visit or just have a great view from the window / terrace - rooms I stayed was big and comfy. Actually warm during winter even without heater. - they give unlimited free drinking water. - they have a small pantry where you can buy coffee / tea at 0.5 JD, any time of the day . Options for tea is great. - free breakfast given with many options. - loved the taste of zataar and halawa they serve in breakfast - gives airport shuttle service or COVID test at 20 JD. - car rental service at 30 JD - owner and few people in reception can speak English - amazing paintings done all over the building by owner's wife. - unlike many hotels in Jordan, they have lift. - they give a printout of map with nearby monuments - owner is very helpful with any information you ask. Regarding city. Improvements: - bathroom is too small. Can't open door fully. - room service service needs improvements. - many items in breakfast would be over even just after 25-30 minutes , breakfast started. And would never be replaced. - they have displayed some discount boards for WhatsApp booking which they didn't give. - no private parking. Have to park in public space little far from hotel.

We have been there last Friday only for 1 night before moving to Petra. Perfect. The man who received us, Mr. Caza, was very very kind with us. He also gave us a packed breakfrast for Saturday morning because we left before breakfast time at the hotel. Position is also perfect if you want to see Amman city

Good location, opposite to the Roman theater and very close to the Souq. The staff was nice. The breakfast is simply the typical arabic breakfast. The roof terrace is a plus and you can enjoy there at night with an outstanding view over the Roman theater.

Perfect place for 2 nights stay. The place is very central, overlooking the Theatre ruins. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and helpful ( thanks for organising for us early breakfast due to early trip to the airport). It's worth to upgrade the room if you book on booking.com in order to get a better room and in general good price with breakfast included. The breakfast was good quality, Eggs, hummus, veggies, coffee. The roof too terrace adds to the comfort, it's a good place for evening chill ( if you bring your own beverage :) Thank you, I definitely enjoyed the stay there.

Good hotel - we had one of the cheapest rooms with a great view of the Roman Theater on the 4th floor but the toilet/shower didn’t look at all as in the pictures. It is very loud nearly at every hour but luckily I had my earplugs with me. The bed was comfy and great tv channels too.

Layaali Amman I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who travels to Amman and is looking for a clean, beautiful hotel, with delicious breakfast and conveninently located in the city center just across the Roman Theater. The rooms were spacious and the view of the sunset behind the Roman Theater was breathtaking! The breakfast was very rich and the waffles added a nice touch to it. Make sure you ask for a room with a street view. Don’t forget to alsk check the hotel’s rooftop, the view from there is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance to the main attractions in Amman. I would highly recommend it to my friends and I would definitely stay there again.

We are for 1 night, and it is our last day in Jordan, but honestly, we cannot wait to go to the airport already. The hotel is very basic. The room is really really bad. As you can see from the pictures, the bed is 200 years old. I will not sleep this night because I am afraid of bed bugs and I have a feeling there might be in the room. For the same price you will find something better for sure. I simply do not care if the staff is nice if the hotel looks like this. I am sorry but this is not acceptable!

I came to Iayaali Amman Hotel in the middle of the night and a very kind young lady, Christine found me a room. She was so helpful and made me feel very welcome. The room was clean and perfect but her service was impeccable. I very much appreciate her assistance and graciousness. Thank you so much for helping me, she is someone I will not forget throughout my travels. Thanks again!

I reserved a room at Layaali Amman hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Awesome hotel located in the heart of Amman. The breakfast is FANTASTIC, I’m pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of food available. They even offer to make omelettes! I have to add that the omelette maintained a consistent standard everyday during my stay - well done omelette chef! Another chef, Chef Ali, will be in his chef uniform and greets every guests with a warm smile every morning. Chef Ali also diligently sanitized the tables with detergent, so that every single round of guests can enjoy their breakfasts on a clean table. Wow. The room is clean and spacious. Unfortunately the aircon and tv may not be the best. No toothbrush provided. Nevertheless still a accommodation choice given that a room costs around 35JD/night (incld breakfast for two). This may not be a 5-star luxury hotel at Amman, but everyone who works at the hotel is extremely polite, friendly and efficient - special shoutout to Christine (front desk) who makes an effort to remember everyone’s name and asks hows their day. ☺️ It is evident that this hotel has hired the best staff dedicated to provide the best experience for all guests. 👍🏻

Friendly staff, position is OK (central but if you arrive by car i can be very busy, parking available at 2 minutes walk). Rooms were big but there was smell of smoke. And you hear the traffic from the busy street. Breakfast was excellent (rich buffet).

Really enjoyed our stay at Layaali Amman Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and the rooms were cleans and spacious. The breakfast was very tasty and the hotel were able to organise a taxi service to and from the airport at a great price. One morning we were unable to have breakfast due to leaving early for a tour and the staff were so kind to provide a takeaway breakfast for all of us providing vegetarian options. The location is great and within walking distance of all sites. Would return and would recommend.

Our stay at Layaali hotel was perfect. The staff was super friendly and helped us with all we needed. The location is super convenient for all you want to do in town (citadel, downtown and more). Parking is free and right there, next to the Roman Amphitheater that you can see from the “rooftop” of the hotel. The hotel has modest and quaint rooms, but it’s really all you need. Breakfast by chef Mama & Ali was delicious and I would recommend going there to any visitors looking for an inexpensive stay that can give you all you may want from the city.

(Translated by Google) It is a new hotel, the rooms are very clean and cleaning is daily. The owner is super friendly and has many services such as laundry, drinks, airport transfer .. But the best without a doubt are the views from the room to the Roman theater! The location is very good next to restaurants and shops And also very cheap! To say something negative, it is a noisy street, but I slept well, it is what it has to be in the center of Amman. I would repeat without a doubt for location, staff, price and above all for cleanliness and how new it is. (Original) Es un hotel nuevo, las habitaciones están muy limpias y la limpieza es diaria. Repetiría sin duda por ubicación, personal, precio y sobre todo por la limpieza y lo nuevo que está.

The room was nice, the price fair - the hotel looks a bit hectic and old for the reception but the rooms are looking better. The position is very nice - close to amphitheater and Citadel and not very far to the food, shops area.
