Pretty nice museum. It's larger than it appears from the outside and has different galleries with both cars related to the history of the Jordanian Royal Family as well as a larger collections of unique motorcycles and vehicles. Entry fee is 5JD for non-residents

I like it , teenagers and grown-up will like it too. Plenty of cars and lots of useful information about the history of almost each car. In the middle of the museum you can take pictures wearing traditional clothes. No caffee to rest nor souvenir shops.

Wonderful experience.. a rare collection of automobiles... Must see for a automobile enthusiast... The vehicles are well kept , well preserved and well organized.... you can spend hours viewing the show if you are really interested and know about the engines. It is a private museum and hence not included in Jordan pass. For foreigners you have to pay 5 Jod per person

(Translated by Google) The Royal Automobile Museum gives its guests a unique opportunity to look at the history of the kingdom through the "prism of four wheels". It displays a variety of cars and motorcycles, as well as rare photos from the archive and documentary films from the era of the founder of the dynasty of King Abdullah I up to Abdullah II. And it is precisely on these cars and documents that one can perfectly trace the development of Jordan and its large-scale transformation. In particular, it is worth paying attention to the luxurious 1952 Lincoln Capri, which King Hussein used not only during his studies in England, but also during his coronation in May 1953. Another important exhibit, which has already become somewhat of a legend, - "Kord 810" produced in 1936, which was presented to him for his wedding. The "pearl" of the local collection is the sporty Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing 1955. It was this handsome man who was lucky enough to take part in the Jordan's Rumman Hill-Climb race together with King Hussein. In addition to the exhibition, do not be lazy to go to the multimedia room, the local library and, of course, the gift shop. Very interesting and informative, I recommend it to everyone 👍 (Original)

Excellent museum! It's definitely worth the time spent. It's a great presentation of Jordan's history as seen through the vehicles in this museum. It's a very extensive collection! Also, fun fact: all the vehicles on display actually run! A must see when you visit Jordan!

There is an impressive collection of royal cars, supercars, and sports cars. There were numerous free parking lots. The price of the ticket is 1JOD for Jordanians and 5JOD for non-Jordanians. The museum is spotless and serene. The staff is friendly. There are restrooms located outside the museum.

The word wonderful is not enough to describe this museum. Indeed, it is a museum because everything in it is beautiful antiques displayed in a wonderful and elegant artistic way. You will spend very enjoyable times, and for those who love photos, you will not know what or what not to photograph, because everything is amazing and deserves to keep it as memories for you.

Beautiful collection of rare vehicles. You'll also see one of the rarest and fastest vehicles ever produced at this museum, the Stirling Moss. There's so many beautiful Rolls Royces and motorcycles as well. If you love vehicles you will probably truly appreciate this location. Vehicles from famous movies like The Martian, Star Wars and Tron are at this location as well. You can even see one of the first amphibious vehicles. Enjoy!

The complex itself is confusing, did a couple of laps around before finding the right entrance gate. Most of them are blocked. So look for gate 3. The Museum is not bad, despite having lots of Mercedes from the 80s to fill the space, there are some pretty nice pieces. A good collection of motocycles.

Beautiful museum. Not too rich if you’ve no time .. I felt the experience of passing by cars wasn’t well thought. However, I liked the idea of displaying a real scene of almost each car behind.. One hour tour is enough. Tickets are 1-3 JDs. And parking is free and easily available.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Automobile Museum, an experience I found to be truly remarkable. The museum showcases an extensive collection of automobiles, ranging from timeless classics to modern marvels, alongside a unique assortment of motorcycles. Each exhibit is meticulously maintained and displayed, offering visitors a glimpse into the evolution of automotive design and technology. Beyond the vehicles themselves, the museum offers a fascinating insight into the history of the Jordanian royal family, intertwining the narrative of automotive progress with the country’s own heritage. This aspect adds a profound depth to the visit, making it not just an exploration of automobile history but also a cultural journey through Jordan’s past. The museum is exceptionally family-friendly, with interactive displays that capture the imagination of both young and old. The admission fee is remarkably affordable, costing only JD 1 for adults, while children under 15 can enjoy the exhibits free of charge. This makes it an ideal destination for families seeking an educational yet entertaining outing.

If you are in Amman , you absolutely cannot miss this one !!!!! Such a beautiful and vast collection of vintage cars. Many of these cars have been used by the King of Jordan himself at some point. They have cars of almost all brands, you name it Ferrari, Porche, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce! Wow.. I was in complete awe of this place... Loved it !!! Not just cars, they have some super cool collection of awesome bikes too! You will not regret your visit here..

Firstly, to access the Museum you need to go to gate No3, because its located within a large cultural area. The museum is an absolute must see if you visit Jordon. All the cars on display are astounding. Also it gives you a history of what the late King used to drive. And there's alot. Plus there's more interesting modes of transport. Just wonderful.

Amazing and exciting museum. It has over 100 royal cars and motorcycles on display, some dating back as early as 1907. We can see a replica of the ever first intrnal- combustion vehicle patented in 1886 by Karl Benz . We learned that that famous Volkswagen developed by Porshe at the order of Hitler was a copy of the former Tatra T97 produced in 1937 by the Czech Engineer Hans Ledwinka. We also learned that the famous BMW at its origin was a company producing aircrafts who turned to the automobile industry after the 1st World War, when defeated Germany 🇩🇪 was banned from producing aircrafts. I'll stop here and encourage you to pay a visit to this rare museum in the region. Enjoy

(Translated by Google) Royal Automobile Museum The Royal Automobile Museum, located in Al Hussein Gardens, west of Amman, is the first car museum in the Arab world, and includes more than 100 cars and motorcycles, each telling a story that links it to the history of Jordan and the Hashemite family. It was inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein in 2003 in memory of the late His Majesty King Hussein Bin Talal, may God rest his soul. The museum sheds light on the reign of Hussein, which lasted for 47 years, and highlights the history of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, starting from the reign of King Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein to the present day under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, may God protect him. The museum contains a rare collection of cars and bikes, some of which date back to 1907, and most of them are still in their original condition. Among the exhibits are the "Lincoln Capri" car (1952) that was used in the coronation ceremony of the late His Majesty King Hussein in 1953, the "Cadillac Fleetwood" (1956), a gift from US President Dwight David Eisenhower, and the "Mercedes Benz 600" / Pullman (1975) It was the last car Al Hussein used upon his return to the homeland from treatment at the Mayo Clinic (1999). The "DE Havilland" plane (Dove) displayed at the entrance to the exhibition has a story to be told. His Majesty Al Hussein received his extensive flying training on it, and thus it became his favorite plane. He also survived an assassination attempt while he was driving it in 1958. As for the "Mercedes-Benz 300 L" (1955), it was one of the first cars acquired by the late Hussein and the closest to himself. He won it in the Rumman Hill climbing race in 1955 and participated in car races more than once in subsequent years. Then more modern cars, such as the "Porsche 904" and "Porsche 906", took the place of this car in the sporting life of His Majesty. Among the museum’s exhibits is the British "Aston Martin" car (1952), which was the first sports car owned by the young Hussein before returning from London to Amman to ascend the throne. A few years later, Hussein gave that car to his cousin and friend of his generation, King Faisal II, and it was later found in a shabby condition and returned to Hussein, who restored it in Britain. Among the other cars on display, the visitor will see the "Lincoln Continental" convertible (1961), which has a long history in Jordan, as it was used on great occasions, such as the coronation of His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and their wedding procession. It has also been used in a number of official visits by international dignitaries to Jordan. To enhance the historical value, the museum uses rare archival materials, including photographs and video recordings. It contains a special hall for displaying different forms of audio, visual and written documents, a library, and a corner selling souvenir items, all designed to provide the visitor with a comprehensive historical and educational experience. One of the most interesting activities in Amman, located in King Hussain Park, beside the Children Museum. Amazing place with very special collections of rare, old, and new cars and motorcycles. Many of these cars have been used by the royal family during 50s and 60s if last century, in front of each car you can find a brief of the car, and some videos and photos also. The entire fees is 1 JD for Jordanian and 3 JD for foreigners. Car parks are available, good for families, kids, and sure for cars lovers. Highly recommended.

So pleased to see the white Range Rover used in the recent royal wedding. I remember watching the parade through the streets of Amman, noting that the car was first used by Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Jordan. The museum is excellent! What a fabulous collection of historical and wonderfully maintained and restored cars. We even got to see a Mercedes McLaren SLR Stirling Moss, which I believe is on loan. Really recommend!

A smaller museum, but with a beautiful collection of vehicles, with information on both the vehicles and how they relate to the royal family and Jordan. Includes background displays and movies. They also have some very interesting pieces on loan. The museum has oldtimers, military vehicles, amazing luxury sports vehicles and motorbikes. The entrance fee is very reasonable and I found it well worth the visit.

Everything on display is described in detail and the history is also played out using photos, posters and even audio/video.

This quaint museum in Madaba was really significant to me. It contains a few small Byzantine mozaics. Most importantly however it contains numerous displays containing artefacts found in Neolithic and early-mid Bronze Age archaeological sites around Madaba. Well worth the visit for ancient history buffs.

(Translated by Google) A small, unpretentious museum with unique artifacts. It's like diamonds hidden in dung. We found the museum with difficulty, because it does not look like a modern museum. A guard came running from somewhere and demanded to pay 3 dinars for the entrance. It takes 40 minutes to see everything well. The same ticket is valid for the Church of the Apostles. But time was short, and we did not find her. It's a shame. I liked the town of Madaba. Walk there for at least half a day.

Entrance fee is JD 3 per person, JD 5 including an audio guide and JD0.5 for Jordanians and residents. Opening hours are from 10am - 7pm. Tuesday is their day-off. A unique museum worth the visit while in Amman

Really well designed, well implemented, and very historically accurate.. very rare cars, most were historically royal. Amazing experience! there are classic cars, even cars for Jordan's Kings, King Hussain's plane, and even things you can only find there in the whole entire world! like the Mars Rover from (The Martian) which was given to it by Hollywood because the film was filmed here, in wadi rum Jordan, which is my favorite Hollywood movie. Also a motorcycle that looks like it's from (Tron). The amazing thing is all of the cars are working! And they are driven around the park every Tuesday! is is cheap at 1 JD an adult and it is worth it to see all the amazing cars they have.

An impressive collection of clasic and modern cars and motorcycles, plus some bonuses from movies (the Mars rover, Star Wars Anakin's speeder etc). Definitely a must visit in Amman, Jordan, even if you are not a car afficionado.
