👍👍 The resort is located very close to Saudi border. Area is called Nuwaiseeb. From salmiya, it took us a little over an hour to reach there. We booked the 1st floor of 2 chalets as we were a group of 19, 10 adults and small and big kids. So we had a total of 6 bedrooms and 2 halls, 6 bathrooms for us... People often mention kids, pool, resort, good, nice, beach, clean, chalets, area, swimming,

The resort is located very close to Saudi border. Area is called Nuwaiseeb. From salmiya, it took us a little over an hour to reach there. We booked the 1st floor of 2 chalets as we were a group of 19, 10 adults and small and big kids. So we had a total of 6 bedrooms and 2 halls, 6 bathrooms for us in total. The view was that of the pool and was very beautiful. The entire chalet was designed aesthetically with comfortable leather sofas, lighting, wall paintings, etc. The hall has a kitchenette attached, which is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, cooking range, toaster and kettle, pots, pans, cutlery, and cabinets. Bedrooms have huge cupboards, comfortable beds and comforters. Bathroom was equipped with bath towels, shower gel, moisturiser, shampoo and conditioner. They offered us corporate discount at the time of booking. The pool isn't very deep, but kids had fun. There is a separate pool for very small kids as well. An open theatre, play area, bouncy castle, trampoline, swimming pool, access to private beach are all free amenities. There's a play room which has paid games as well. There's a super market inside the resort and a kuwaiti and a fast food restaurant as well. All in all it was a wonderful experience and comfortable stay at aquamarine resort. Worth visiting once more. P.s. They charged us fully refundable security deposit of 200 kd cash. Extra mattress and beds are available at nominal charges. We carried our own packed food and snacks.

Set on a private beach, Aquamarine Kuwait Resort offers villas and chalets with beautiful beach view. All chalets have a living room with seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels where you can relax. You will find a super market and 24-hour front desk at the property. Aquamarine Kuwait Resort has water sports facilities and bike hire is available.

Excellent option for stay if not traveling outside Kuwait. We were two families (4 adults and 3 kids) and had booked a first floor pool facing 3 bedroom apartment. Bear in mind that everything inside is chargeable including the billiard tables, table tennis and the table football. Food options inside are limited to 2 - Buffalos and Al Firya. Nearby there are other food options that work out to be cheaper. Barbecue can be done at the beach and the stand is available and free. Only material needs to be brought. Pool is not heated so depending on the season, can be cold. Pool timings are 9 am to 5 pm so keep that in mind too.

It was a nice stay and the kids enjoyed the 4 pools they had. The apartment was clean and the balcony was great for watching over the kids in the pool while getting a glimpse of the sea. The place is somwhat old, with the apartment needing new (quiter) beds. And maybe cover the pool used by young children. This place is the furthest you will go in Kuwait, as it wad the nearest resort to the Saudi border.

A nice resort, very decently maintained stays with good views, two large pools, separate for small kids. Drawbacks the pools are not heated and so for winter it's truly difficult, not sure why it is so.

I have been there 2 times within 2 weeks. The chalets themselves are good and new. The main yard looks taken care of the pools are cool and look good too. The shore is clean and has chairs and tables and has volleyball pitch. There aren’t too many services, and for a new resort I think it should have more fun stuff and more services like a good restaurant (there is a restaurant but it’s not that good and expensive) a breakfast restaurant would be very good. Overall, I think it’s more than a decent resort.

The pool is not functional for kids Reception says it opens at 8 Pool maintenance guys says it opens at 9 and still not operational And when we try to access at night they say it’s closed at 5 pm So when asked to get the kids boat they say it opens at 5 Such a scam showing all facilities and non operational and useless

Just Wow... I stayed in some other chalets in Khairan also, but this one is cheaper and marvellous. A well planned area with extreme security, big rooms, good staffs and extreme facilities. The polls are excellent- there are slides and some other pool things. Separate pool for kids (Less depth- so you can be tension free) and adults. Pools are lighted and with ambient music system (But there is restriction of time after sunset). There is adjacent open sea (not like man made lake) beside the beach there is BBQ facility (There is the bbq grill- you have to bring the coal and igniter personally- or you can bring your own one too) and volleyball court. Also there are some child activities like a park with bounce and balloon slider (You don't have to pay separately for this) There was a nearby traditional Diwania in Khema (Tent). Its colourful and good for taking pictures in morning. There are nearby shopping mall and indoor playing facilities too. The rooms are excellent. They are spacious with AC and pool view. In one building there are 4 apartments and each costs 45-60 kd (on my staying) The room is European standard with linen and everything. It was one of the best I have seen. I recommend to come with friends and family. Its highly recommended... I loved it ❤️❤️❤️

Good place for a short family vacation. Staff are friendly but their prices are a bit on the high side

Rooms are heartbreaking and services non existing. An chalet with a price tag of 460 US dollars was full of mosquitos and with leaky broken and smelly washrooms. On arrival fridge and kitchen were all empty even you don't have a single water bottle available forget about the curtesy tea or coffee all you have to buy from their store. In the morning no breakfast available even their kitchen will open at 10 AM.

Super nice place to visit you can relax and enjoy so many activities esp.the kids they have playgrounds where kids can enjoy and having soo much fun swimming pools, beach, nice, and games where everyone are allowed to join with exciting prizes you can have! I love also the rooms are neat and clean with very accomodating and friendly staffs.

Other than the fact that there aren’t water sports ( jet skis, boat rides, etc), the place is so much fun for families and couples and the beach is very close to all the chalets. There is a small local supermarket, kids play room, bike rentals, and a private women-only swimming pool area. The resort provides house keeping and cleaning services daily. There are fun kids activity held at the weekends. Cons: -Very limited number of power outlets. Bring an electric plug extension with you. - Limited number of residents per chalet. -Very far from the city ( it is located by the kuwaiti-saudi borders) . -charges extra money for extra blankets and visitors.

Very nice resort. Kids enjoyed very much. Nice location and service. Rooms might need maintenance. In our 1 night trip we had to face a serious problem. After coming back from dinner we found out a water pipe broke and the entire chalet was flooded. Water even pour down to the ground floors. However, Aqua Marine Auth did change our chalets. I do have few suggestions though: they may keep swimming pool open till 10 or 11 pm. More activities or water sports may be included, for example jet ski, para sail etc.

Great place! All facilities currently unavailable. But still a relaxing place and the weather is very different from Kuwait city. Lovely people serving at the restaurant too.

One of the best places in Kuwait to visit & stay with your family and friends; just nearby Saudi border.

  • 5/5 Hesham B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice place for families. The swimming pool is large and deep enough so that parents and kids can enjoy swimming. Water slides add fun. Pool timing is 9 AM to 8 PM. Bike rental is available at site. And the most important thing, the staff is very friendly.

Its not bad, but definitely not exceptional. 3.5 star experience overall. Everything average and in some aspects below. Wouldn't recommend if there were any competition in this area.

I spent 4 days in this resort with my family. From the very first moment when we came everyone was so friendly. Big special thank you I want to say to gentlemen at reception. They made our stay unforgettable. Also staffs from restaurant were amazing. They told us about every meal what they are offering. They have the biggest portions what I have ever seen and also the taste was incredible. This place is special not because of pools, beach or nice sea but because of people who are working there. Big thank you from Slovakian family. ❤️
