It is an amazing place! The artist, Lidia, gave me a private tour of the house, and I had an amzing time with her. She is an extremely intelligent and passionate lady. Cannot believe that she is 85 years old, and still so full of life! The mirror works are beautiful and the paintings from her late husband, Khalifa Qattan, (displayed upstairs) are great. You rarely see such great paintings in Muslim countries. Lidia spent almost 3 hours with me, and I felt so privileged. Such an honor to get to know a great artist. Also, Lidia and her daughter showed me such a warm hospitality. Prepared cold drinks for a humid day, small snack for the road, and lovely souvenirs. Thank you so much! Definitely worth visiting in Kuwait!! They have a bit strick Covid regulations, but it was understandable, cause the artist still lives in that place. (It was private residence, and the artist is getting old. Her health should be taken care of.) Should be appreciated by many people.

Amazing experience, one of the best we had in Kuwait as a family. Meeting the artists / owners and having them explain the history of the house and the story of their favorite pieces is a definite plus. Pre-booking is required. Arrive on-time as several groups join the same tour. The place is a fusion of a home and an art gallery. The work of Mr. Khalifah was very interesting but the highlight of the visit was the environment created by Ms. Lidya in every room. Kids above the age of 10 should be able to enjoy this visit as well. You walk out with a big smile and a goodies bag to snack on. They have a lovely little shop offering souvenirs of the place, we got a fridge magnet that will join our collection to remind us of Kuwait. Highly recommended.

Today I visited Mirror House😍 I can’t convey the emotions, it’s just something incredible, very interesting. The tour give by the owner of this house Lidia🤍 and her daugther🤍helps to organaze a tour. Lidia made all the mirrors in the house herself. There are a lot of history about Why she made this...Why did she decide to do it all over again?... One of my favourite place in Kuwait. Thank you very much for everything, it was amazing🤍 Kateryna😇

The time and effort put into this project is astounding! It's definitely worth your time to visit. This was such a fun tour! The artist, Lidia Qattan [also our guide], is an amazing dynamo of a woman! The Galaxy room was definitely my favorite part. When the lights went out it was like floating in space!

Lidia the owner & creator of this amazing so called " The house of mirrors" or "Mirror house". It's literally a mind blowing experience to watch art at every corner of the house. Each art piece symbolizes meaningful things in the field of arts. As we visit the house the narration of every arts by the artist keeps you holding to know the inspiration she had for her work. Amazing pieces of art and beautifully maintained.

Mirror House is a must-visit place if you're in Kuwait! Officially a museum now, there's plenty of history attached to this house and development from the owner herself Lidia Al Qattan. Wonderful host and guide, story teller and filled with excitement upon our visit! Make sure to book your tour prior to visiting.

The place itself is out of this world! Magnificent art pieces of both Lidia and her late husband. I couldn't believe my eyes! Definitely a must visit if you're in Kuwait. Reservations are necessary before going, so do check the website for details on how to make reservations. And the entry is 3KD per adult and 2KD for children. The tour usually starts with Lidia serving cake and tea while explaining her story behind the beginning of her journey as an artist in Kuwait.

The experience was amazing. The house is a typical kuwait house that has been covered with mirrors inside out. The history behind their stories show you what art truly is. The space and environment is magnificent. I truly thank Lidia and her daughter Jalila for their hospitality and for showcasing their home to Kuwait and the world of curious people who pass by.

Special thanks to Ms. Lidia Al-Qattan creating this masterpiece and hosting us during our visit. This is one of the top experiences I have had in Kuwait. I was blown away by the hard work and dedication that has been put in to create and manage this place. Lidia is a great host (so much warmth and feels like home) and spends lot of time in explaining everything in detail. How did she start to explaining the different themes in the house. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

Many people even those who reside in Kuwait are not completely aware of ‘The House of Mirrors’ or “Hall of Mirrors”.  However this is really an incredible wealth of art, so accessible to the public at large and it is worth the visit. Also called, the Mirror House, it is the only house in the world that is entirely covered with Mirror Mosaic, done by a single artist! This “House of Mirrors” belongs to the pioneer Kuwaiti Artists Khalifa and Lidia Al-Qattan and it is now considered as a Museum, as the wife of the renowned Kuwaiti artist has turned their house into a work of art using broken pieces of glass to decorate the outside and inside of the house. Located in Qadsiya, the house is still a private property so appointments have to be made prior for weekday visits. Approximately 100 tonnes of white cement and 75 tonnes of mirror have been used in the making of the mirror mosaics that spangle the outside and inside of this residential house.

This place was awesome! Toured this with the composer herself, Lidia Al Qattan. She hosted the party of two I was with. So much history and knowledge for this tour. I was blown away by the attention to detail and effort the composer took to make her fine art. I highly recommend this place (10/10). I happened to have toured this during their monthly market they had. Please buy your tickets in advanced and submit COVID information on website.

Superb place for tourists. It's a place to be with your friends and family. There will be a women who will guide you to inside and you will enjoy the time. Historic place. The women will take a booking or reservation from you or your relatives. She have a phone number. Which I uploaded the picture. If you call her for booking. Call before 2 days before going there. And make sure to take some friends there to enjoy more properly specially if you are planning on something for visiting a historic or educational tour. And the architecture was great who created the unique design which is fully created by glass. Glass art is full of this house outside and inside as well. The women who will guide you for the full time you'll stay there. And she will help you specially.
