A must visit if you are into old cultures and history of Islam. There are thousands of items on display and I can't thank Mr. Tareq and his wife enough for their contributions all these years. There are 2 museums, one is a museum for Islamic Art, and another is a standard one where metalwork, weapons, and miniature items are placed. The entry fee is 2 kd and a single ticket is applicable on both the museums, so not bad at all. However, as of today the first museum is closed due to renovations and is slated to open in H1 2023. The location here is of the second museum, the first museum is just beside Sultan Center a few blocks away. The museum of Islamic Art is open. Do visit, it is really good!

This place was cool. It was nice to see a cultural museum in Kuwait. It's small and the pieces are cool. I wish there was more explanation of their significance to read but it was still nice to see all the intricate handiwork.

Wonderful collection. Beautiful calligraphic paintings, graceful vases and carpets, etc. Worth to spend couple of hours. Easy to find using Google maps. Big parking lot next to the museum. But be aware - on Friday only half day working time.

The museum is amazing! I love the artifacts displayed there. However, some of them weren't labelled at all so we didn't really get much information that we needed there. The entrance fee is 2KD per person.

(Translated by Google) One of the distinctive Islamic museums in Kuwait City is located in the Jabriya neighborhood of Mr. Tariq Rajab, who died the mercy of God and the museum received his son Ziad and is one of the most beautiful museums that took care of rare Islamic artifacts and there is another museum with a piece of 5 of the same for the ancient history worth visiting.

This is a wonderful museum with some of the most beautiful examples of Arabic Calligraphy I've ever seen. The design and layout is simple and easy to navigate. The museum's caretakers have provided small blurbs of English text, making viewing the area easier for foreigners. I highly recommend bringing along an Arabic expert of some kind to better appreciate the historical and spiritual wealth found within these halls. This museum is all the more impressive since a large portion of the collection was heroically preserved and rescued during the Iraqi invasion at the outset of the Gulf War. It's also worth thanking the museum staff, who were very accommodating, allowing me to enter a few minutes early so I wouldn't miss my flight later in the day. Extrodinary and wonderous place.

(Translated by Google) The museum as a decoration by land and air is very beautiful transports you to the atmosphere of Islamic heritage .. But from my point of view if the place is free of charge (entrance fee 2 dinars per person) would remain the best rate of small place and limited activities in it .. Kuwait National Museum Keda without such fees .. Ashan Easy to visit continuously from time to time .. But I enjoyed his visit and photography there and the atmosphere of the Islamic Atkolt Les and most of the needs I liked there cladding Kaaba different forms and crockery .. Beautiful place tired to coordinate (Original)

Awesome place. If you are interested in history this place is a must visit for you. Its behind the English school on street 5. The google map took me to a slightly different place but with the help of some locals I was able to find the place. The building is having the clear name "Tareq Rajab museum" written on it. This place is having hundreds and hundreds of artifacts really hats off for the great effort. This museum is among the normal houses so see closely when you are finding the place. I hope it will help the people who will go in the future. Take your time to absorb the rich history of past. I loved this place. The ticket is 2 KD per person.

This is a museum housing a private collection of Islamic Arts and Islamic Calligraphy dating from the early days of Islam to date. It is a must visit for anybody who has a keen interest in Arabic Calligraphy or Islamic Arts. Entry fees: 2 KD for Adults and for Children & Students it is free. Timings: Saturday to Thursday - 9AM to 12PM and 4PM to 7PM. Fridays - 9AM to 12PM. They say photography is not allowed but do allow it with permission. Excellent, well preserved collection of antiques artefacts, hand written manuscripts and Qurans, coins, paintings and embroidered clothing. Some ornate furniture too. Takes about an Hour and half to see.

[Impressive collection for Islamic Calligraphy] A private collection underneath a residential home, but the way of representation is impressive. Entry fee is 2 KD and its not a big one (2 stairs), no wheelchair access. It focuses on Islamic calligraphy and exhibits. Within 1-2 hours it can be covered and its accessible without advanced planning or reservations.

👍👍 It is an amazing private museum. Marvelous collection of the Islamic arts (mostly jewelry and pottery). With one ticket (KWD 2), you can visit two museums. They are located about 5 minutes apart. The size of the museum is small, but the collection is huge. So, you really have to give youself enough...
