There are 2 museums, one is a museum for Islamic Art, and another is a standard one where metalwork, weapons, and miniature items are placed. The entry fee is 2 kd and a single ticket is applicable on both the museums, so not bad at all. However, as of today the first museum is closed due to renovations and is slated to open in H1 2023. The location here is of the second museum, the first museum is just beside Sultan Center a few blocks away. The museum of Islamic Art is open. Do visit, it is really good!

This place was cool. It was nice to see a cultural museum in Kuwait. It's small and the pieces are cool. I wish there was more explanation of their significance to read but it was still nice to see all the intricate handiwork.

Timings: Saturday to Thursday - 9AM to 12PM and 4PM to 7PM. Fridays - 9AM to 12PM. They say photography is not allowed but do allow it with permission. Excellent, well preserved collection of antiques artefacts, hand written manuscripts and Qurans, coins, paintings and embroidered clothing. Some ornate furniture too. Takes about an Hour and half to see.
