The place is pretty basic, they have two pools, one for families and the other for women only. The beach is pretty average and small. There aren’t any restaurants inside except for a small cafe and a place that only serves a mediocre breakfast. They do have room service which is kind of neat. I like to wander around at night and this place is pretty small without much to do. The surrounding places aren’t plenty so if you decide to stay here, you’ll be locked up inside bored out of your mind. They have a really lousy gym that clearly hasn’t been maintained since Zain was known as MTC. They have a Domino’s, Burger King and Pizza Hut for food and one of those express Sultan Centers in case you need them within walking distance outside . In short, little kids will absolutely adore it here, but adults will get bored pretty quickly.

Needs to be cleaned up, the pool was dirty and I have sensitive skin, you can’t just have guck stuck around the edges of the water inside the swimming pool. People should shower before entering the pool again with their tan

It’s old, dinghy, and dirty. Kids won’t notice though, and they’ll have a lot of fun. The ladies’ pool is nothing short of a messy nightmare.

The Resort is nice ! But the service is awful—> 1h30 min to get the food, and there no one else in the restaurant! The resort is not busy but the service is awfully slow ! I do not recommend at all!

Though I’m a regular customer, the front desk missed up my reservation and failed to give me the chalet key. When asked for an email to complain was given a wrong email address. In addition they charged me when checking out 5 kd for a broken plastic chair that worth 1 kd. Can’t forget the old furniture and holes in the curtains. Upgrade your interior and sign your staff to customer care courses!

The resort is really bad it has such a bad atmosphere. The resort is chaos, lots of chalets are putting loud music and disturbing the peace at night and no one can have a good night sleep. Especially in new years, people were coming from everywhere raiding the place, it’s supposed to be for families only but it’s a lie, there are lots of teenagers roaming around the resort and ruining it, smoking cigarettes and abusing girls walking. The resort is a disaster

The place is nice, but lacks cleaning! The swimming pool serving area is always closed as well as the beach serving bar! No kids activities except for Bikes rental! Prices are little high! TV channels needs to be fixed and being old built place needs some work.

Small quick getaway in the south of Kuwait. The "hotel and resort" has been around for some time and you can tell in places. Nothing bad!! There is a small cafe/restaurant that serves the basics, a small supermarket on the premises and restaurants and cafes right outside the gate. As I have been here in January I didnt go to the beach but I know from earlier visits that its clean and quite a pleasant swim! Summary: perfect to take a weekend off and take you family for a small mini vacation

Ahhh seashell seashell when of the best places that I use to go as a kid it was so good but what happened? I’m staying till this weekend and the place isn’t renovated the arcade place that we use to love is closed the rooms are dirty the water that comes out of the taps is yellow !!!! What happened to the seashell I know ?! :( guys it’s not like before

The resort has the best location with the best service. The working staff are all friendly and helpful. The resort is abit old with old furniture because they need renovation. I think the beach is one of the best in kuwait.

I am a regular customer for this place but after the administration change they are so bad talking to customer . I have book room via other application and it was valid till 23 Jan 2023 . I called them to book they said it’s fully booked and there is no place to you

Resort was very good, but had V Bad checkout experience. While Checkout, housekeeping noticed that there is breakage in the glass of one of the room balcony from outside. we told that, we were not aware about it and we hardly went to balcony as there was very hot weather and high humidity. We also told them that, similar type of glass is there in our flat, and few days back we had to replace it because it got broken in similar way due to high humidity, naturally. their housekeeping manager also agreed that, yes glass can break due to high humidity. but still manager sana wanted us to pay for damages becausd it was happened during our stay. What a ridiculous policy they have, if tommorrow earth quack comes and all their glass gets damaged, do they will ask guest to pay for it. Similarly if due to humidity glass breaks, its a natural cause how guest are responsible for that. Finally we paid the damages and left with heavy heart.

I have been visiting Seashell for 6 years and I always enjoy the atmosphere. I love the color of the villas and the overall aesthetic of the resort. The beach is really nice. I like the casual vibe of this resort as it just feels like a relaxing weekend getaway. It’s clean and homey and the rooms are spacious and the beds are really nice and have luxurious sheets. My only criticism is that the furniture in the living room is outdated and could use a renovation. The dinner is good but breakfast needs more effort.

It is fine for weekend. I spent one night in 4 bedroom villa facing the beach. It is clean and relaxing.

This was my first time visiting the resort, and I’m debating whether or not it’ll be my last. I enjoyed walking on the beach, which was surprisingly clean and organized. The pools on the other hand need some maintenance, since you could always find random specks of dirt and leaves while you’re swimming. The pool bar never had anyone manning it, even though the open sign was clearly there and it’s lights were on. Chalet was mediocre, and the cleaning service was not good. The bathrooms needed more thorough cleaning, especially the toilet seats. The furniture was clearly outdated and old, and the couch had loads of mysterious stains. It was spacious, but definitely not worth the price. Customer service on the other hand, was AWFUL. It was very hard to communicate with the staff, including the manager, in English or Arabic. I didn’t try the food since I’ve seen lots of reviews saying it wasn’t great. Check out experience was absolutely horrible. We hadn’t broken anything in the chalet, but then the manager showed us a picture of broken window netting in the living room. We had reasoned with him, and had to pay 5kd to ‘fix’ it in the end. This is very obviously a scam, and I’ve seen other reviews talk about it with a broken chair, plate, etc. This is the situation that steered us away from the place. Also the fact that you have to pay 10kd to stay another hour even if there is no booking after you is completely unreasonable.

Although I didn’t stay here, I came for the Born Primitive beach race, this is a very pleasant location. Quiet and peaceful.

A good place for a short break in Kuwait! Facilities are great. However, the check-out experience was tedious. There was a wait time of half an hour at the reception! The breakfast also could use some improvements. Except for one or two dishes, the rest were average at best.

I love spending summer in seashell it became a tradition for me, i either book a room with my family or buy a day access with my friends

The place is OK, but the service is very poor. While it’s never crowded, they rarely reply to room service. Once we ordered new bedsheets and it took over an hour.

Had a great time here, seevice was above my expectations, as I have read some bad reviews on this hotel/resort. Upon arrival into our room, I have sat on the bed and I guess I have disturbed a sleeping spider there lol .. so we called the room service and they pleasantly arrived quickly not to change the whole bedsheets and all .. but they also checked the whole bed area for anymore pests .. The atmosphere was amazing... the tranquility.. the clear sea water .. Speaking of seawter, the only issue that bothered me was the oil and smoke and smell of Jetski exhausts which was so near to the people relaxing/swimming on the beach. Some guys knowing that there are people swimminf here were coming to this beach by porpose maneuvering with their jet skis to show off. And that was causing noise and water pollution .. I wish if there was a solution for this issue all around kuwait and not only here. Another downside of the resort was the very old and somehow broken bikes being rented by the hotel ... my daughter bike barely had any brakes on them. The hotel needs some touch ups and clean ups to go back to where they were sometimes before.

I spend one day as part of a business event. The private beach area is nice with options to try Water scooter, small boats and few other water based activates. I do also find few pools and it wasn't busy.

Our group took a 1-day trip here and hung out on the beach. We took advantage of the jet skiing, horse back riding, and beach volleyball court. The customer service was great, as they were willing to accommodate our requests. We had a fun day.

Fun at sea and in the pool. My only two comments are: 1) breakfast buffet is below par, not much variety and low quality food. 2) the pool is not shaded, which is really challenging in Kuwait's sun.
