I
joined
a
pair
of
colleagues
at
Al
Boom
for
a
nice
dinner
on
a
Saturday
evening..
From
the
moment
I
approached
the
entrance,
within
the
Radisson
Blu
hotel
complex,
I
knew
I
was
going
to
experience
something
I
hadn't
previously..
Set
within
an
old
sailing
vessel,
Al
Boom
delivers
a
unique
culinary
experience
in
one
of
the
most
unique
venues
I've
ever
experienced..
As
we
reviewed
the
menu,
engraved
brass
placemats
were
set,
as
was
rose
gold
finished
flatware,
neatly
bundled
in
fabric
napkins..
Our
trio
sampled
the
lobster
bisque
soup,
fried
calamari,
and
Dynamite
Shrimps
as
appetizers..
The
lobster
bisque
soup
was
reported
to
be
quite
tasty,
and
I
can
personally
attest
to
the
quality
of
the
calamari
and
Dynamite
Shrimps..
Both
were
very
enjoyable..
Our
main
courses
included
my
Angus
tenderloin,
an
Angus
ribeye,
and
an
Australian
Wagyu
ribeye..
Each
of
the
three
steaks
and
their
accompanying
sauces
were
prepared
perfectly
and
delivered
to
our
table
on
sizzling,
cast
iron
platters..
Each
of
us
remarked
that
the
quality
and
flavor
of
our
steaks
were
on
point..
As
for
sides,
my
colleagues
sampled
the
creamy
parmesan
spinach,
and
I
sampled
the
buttered
mashed
potatoes
and
roasted
corn..
All
three
were
solid
choices..
I
opted
out
of
a
post-meal
treat,
but
my
colleagues
sampled
the
French
coffee
and
a
Mojito
mocktail,
and
both
were
quite
pleased..
All
in
all,
I
am
very
thankful
I
got
to
experience
Al
Boom,
and
should
I
return
to
Kuwait
🇰🇼
City
in
the
future,
it
will
certainly
remain
one
of
my
top
choices
for
a
unique
and
quality
dining
experience..
