11 March 2022....Zoo is closed till now...i wonder when it will open....there r very few places(reasonable price) for kids to go to in Kuwait and zoo being closed since 2+years is bad sign for entertainment in Kuwait.

A Nice Place To Relax... We have visited last week and it was Great experience.Clean and Neat place with garden to relax and meet up. The Zoo is need little more improvement on animals and its set up but hope everything will be sort out. There is one interesting thing is Kid Train which cost around 500 Fils and it was a great experience.Kids will like this Zoo and garden. The main thing we have seen many peacocks.

Extremely nice place for Adults as well as Kids. Whole zoo is wheelchair accessible. Nominal fees for adults. Many different & exotic animals and birds are present. Need at least 3 hours to fully explore the place. Adults and Kids can sit and have a quick tour in a Toy-train. Food facility & Gardens is also available so that we can sit & take luch there. Must visit again :)

Ticket is 500 fils (0.5 Kuwaiti Dinar). Working hours: Winter 8 am-8 pm Summer 8 am- 12 pm and from 4 pm-8 pm Takes about 1 hour 30 min if you take your time. Could take much less time if you rush it. More crowded on weekends. Animals don't seem to be in appropriate sized cages. I love to see the animals but not if they are suffering. Not sure whats the best time to see all the animals but it seems everytime I go there, there are few animals that seem to be out of sight, like the lions the wolves and the hippopotamus and perhaps few others, but go ahead and see if you are luckier than me. Many fences have extra smaller fences inside each other to prevent visitors from feeding the animals but that does not stop the visitors from trying... and the extra fencing blurrs the sight and ruins the photos if you want to take photos of the animals. The chimpanzees were the most fun and most interactive. I visited during the liberation and independence day 25 & 26 February and the kids had water guns and sprayed the chimps and as much as I hated the animal cruelty, nonetheless, the chimps had their revenge and sprayed their spit over the kids and their family and it was an epic moment that I did fortunately campture on my camera! There are many spots where you could have a picnic. There are small stores selling souvenirs a little overpriced if you ask me. Some food stores nothing healthy. Overall the experience is ok and could be potentially an enjoyable day or afternoon for the family. Many photo opportunities. But needs much more improvement. But with a price tag of 500 fils it is well worth it.

Well maintained and amazing place to visit with Kids. The best part is different kind of birds which have big place and that is also well maintained.

Really awesome zoo with great number of trees and week maintained atmosphere. Animals and birds are found to be healthy. We are widely welcomed by beautiful sight of white and normal full sized peacocks. White peacock welcomed with open feather dance was such an amazing welcome for all. There are 3 full sized tigers and three full sized lions. There is a huge cage that's of a double storied buildings height which include wife variety's of birds. It got elephant, giraffe, ostrich, vulture,zebra,etc It got a large variety of deers,monkeys,etc But no reptiles Number of aquatic beings found to be less. There is no clear signage from where to start or how to watch the cages often we may end up missing so many cages so as the wonder full animals or birds that's the only fault I am able to find. Also people are found to be feeding animals that's also not healthy practice but dangerous too.
