I've visited this place several times, mostly to eat their Thali, which is good (though a bit spicy for my taste. I wish they offer an option for less spicy for those of us who cannot handle spicy food) I found a surprise this time. The thali comes with a starter dish (see photos) that has 4 items. The place has a great view of the Arabian sea overlooking the Al Kout Mall.

Tasty food. But need some improvement with packing speed during the week end. Also billing staff at the counter was caughing and sneezing too much and he was the one who was paking all stuff. Didn't feel good. Same happed 2 times. Such a big place should have noticed and give the sick people some rest. Need more improvement

Very bad response. I ordered onam sadhya at 11.00. Till 3 no response very ride staff. That lady who took my order.... Is simply atrocious. She has the auducity to not even see my msgs. No to saravana bhavan here after. Very worst. I am pissied. 🤬🤬

It was good to have a South Indian meal here. The view was great. Service was good, It had a lot of choices in the vegetarian menu with juices. The waiters were good. The ambience was good. The table was neat. The plate in which meal was served was wobbling a bit making a weird noise. The outer waiting lounge is good with adequate seating.

Service and food quality has gone down. They have more people in kitchen but not serving customers in time. The juice we ordered was not delivered till we are done with food. Chai wasn't like previous, we could smell milk was burnt. Had to ask for a replacement. They surely need to focus on quality of service and food.

Saravana bhavan is a traditional indian veg restaurant. Its situated near the faheel sea side. The restaurant is famous for traditional andhra thali meals and other south indian meals. Various types of dosas, vada, idli are the most attraction. If you go to this saravana bhavan building, u can do shopping in CENTER POINT also, which is situated in ground floor of the building.

The quality of food is in downtrend. It has lost it's tasty, delicious and nice South Indian aromatic food quality. The varieties has also significantly reduced. The current quality nowhere stands near it's name that it had earlier. Lot needs improvement.

We had dinner last Friday. Ordered Chana Battoora, Hakka noodles and Dahi Vada. Food was not at all tasty and horrible. Very bad experience. Very small size 02 Vadas kept inside local laban (charged KD. 1.100/- for that) bought from outside shop with lots of salt inside. Noodles no taste at all. Chana masala feels like butter chicken with out chicken pieces. Management please check the quality and quantity of the food.

One of the worst restaurants in Kuwait. Every item is Exorbitantly overpriced. The service is absolutely poor. U have to spend min 30 mins to get the dishes. You can get better dosas and vadas for half the price in almost every other veg restaurant in kuwait. These people are just misusing the legendary name of Saravana Bhavan for profits. If you are a vegetarian then I can say there are far better vegetarian hotels than this. If u are a non vegetarian, then pls don’t even think about visiting here as u will end up spending more than what u usually spend on good non vegetarian dishes. AVOID AT ANY COST. Visit only if u want to have mediocre but extreme overpriced dishes.

Date visited: 27 July 2023. Time : 6.45pm. Waited 10 mins for someone to wait us. One server for 6 families present. No one came to take order. Left disappointed without eating. Restaurant should up the game especially since there are several competitive places. South Indian dishes are super here from past visits.

Not a place for public holidays! They have great dosa. Special vegetarian thali is good especially their lemon drink, Palak rice, rasam, vada and semiya payasam.

Excellent ambience, and really loved the ghee dosa, and medium coffee. Would highly recommend for people trying to find an excellent vegetarian place to eat at😋😋

I am a non Malayali who enjoys Onam sadya. I am grateful that Sarvana had the food available even at 4;30 pm, but we were not taken care of. After the first serving no one asked if we needed a second helping, also a few items were missing on our leaf that our next table got. Next Onam I will definitely not be eating here.

One of the best places in kuwait to experience authentic India thali, I was delighted with the experience. 1. It's bit difficult to find as there is no advertisement related to this just find centerpoint and go to 4th floor of same building, parking is plenty. 2. Ambiance is awesome with a great sea view, staff are friendly and have a washroom and seating also nice both bachelors and family to dine in. 3. Food is excellent 😋 like unlimited thali with rice, chapathi, poori and verify of gravy and side dishes refer my photo for more all at cost of 2KD. Recently, lots of worst changes happened in Saravana Bhavan restaurant, Fahaheel . They stopped to provide startup meal ( cup of puli rice , soup , one more item ) in the Full meal . But still the price is same . Further more, they completely changed the seating arrangements which is hiding the beach view.

Food quality is some what ok in Kuwait. But the service was bad. Taking too much of time even while the restaurant is free. And cleanliness was very bad.

Food is south indian delicacies and taste is pretty fine. But dont expect a private dining ambience. A bit crowded always. Filter coffee is amazing. Little pricey though.

Order only south indian foods for authentic taste. North indian foods are not upto the mark.( Manchurian items are also pathetic) Service is chaotic there. All suppliers are serving all the table it seems. Service could be better if one supplier serves to focused customers.

Vegetarian restaurant and dosa,idli,ghee pongal,sambar and more are my favourite things from here. But paneer chilli and gobi 65 is very bad like no flavour.

The food is tasty..but horribly little for its price..i paid 1.2kwd for pongal and we get it it a small container about the quantity of a chutney..spending 1.2 kwd for a handfull of food is outrageous. Even a kid wont be full with this much food.

I would rate 3.5 out of 5. In terms of quality its very good, in terms of quantity moderate comparing with cost and other same category restaurant, ambiance of the restaurant is very elegant. It's at one of the prime location in Fahaheel. One must try for variety of dishes at one location.

DO NOT VISIT... they have a higher proce for this location and in return you will get a poor service. Visit if you wish to get dissapointed. They are here to just make money out of your pocket. They do not have the right staff nor knowledge about North Indian Cuisine. Its a trap to avoid.

Prices have increased by more than 25%. But now the quality has highly degraded. Got stomach ache, heavy head, vomiting on very next day morning because of their stale food. Also they a block sitting areas in prime hours. They say it to serve better. But actually it's decreasing privacy, too close tables, etc. I suggest a big"no" here for time being.

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Saravanaa Bhavan. the food was absolutely delicious.! it could not have been more spectacular! we would highly recommend it to everyone. price also was reasonable

I won’t be surprised if the place get closed sometime soon. Lousy staff will make your experience bad even if food is kind of ok. Most staff are working in the same place for atleast a decade but don’t have any sense of hospitality. They always make mistakes in orders or simply ignore your requests!.

I visited last Sunday at 12:45 PM with my family; a staff informed me that no service in family area as there is only 1 waiter available at the restaurant and hence cannot serve the food in family section and insisted us to sit in open area alongwith Bachelors. Ultimately we had to move to another Restaurant, and I hope that was my last visit to Sarvana Bhavan.

I am sharing my personal experience only. Before Pandemic, I visited this place, it was good in taste and speed of service. But after pandemic, may be due to lackage of man power, the service became slower and the taste were not upto the mark. But the snacks they made for Diwali wss good. The suppliers are very kind and appreciable. They may increase the ventilation and air circulation to avoid the food smell at crowded time. Also, they can concentrate little more in cleanliness.
