Service is quite slow when they're attending large groups & the curse of every mal restaurant- variety that's shown in the menu keeps decreasing with every visit-We end up ordering what the servers suggest, rather than what we prefer. Washrooms must be maintained much better. Else Great infra., decent ambience. Will visit again! 3.9 stars!

Excellent food! Highly recommend. We had a coconut curry fish appetizer (can’t remember the name) that was amazing. It was rolled up and tied with a scallion. Also had the coconut Fish curry, fried fish, chicken biryani. An explosion of flavors! So good!

Thali only available on Saturday. Other items are good but not the best. Restaurant ambience is nice and well decorated. Food is good but there is a lack of punch which usually present in South Indian dishes.

Excellent food and service. We went twice in the short trip we had. Their nool barotta is insanely good, make sure to get that when you go! Was fond of their beef mappas for the curries and the adichitha koondal (squid) and lamb chops were also pretty great. We also had the almond chicken curry but that was much less exciting, so you can probably skip that. The kulikki sharbat was also a really great drink, would definitely recommend you try that out when there!

They serve you good fish curry and chicken peral in the lunch meals on Fridays and Saturdays. Spicy non veg special dishes available as per orders. seafood and beef items are very tasty as well. On holidays a little bit crowded but altogether a good ambiance and smart service. Amble parking space available in the ground.

Would have liked to give it a 4 star rating. And maybe it is a toss up between 3 & 4. I certainly thought that the price was on the higher side when compared to similar it probably higher rated places. Food is on the spicy side and has a lot of masala taste. Of the 6 of dishes we took, the Kandari Fish was good and that was about it. Location, convenient. Service, good.

One of the better restaurants serving Kerala cuisine with a twist. Humble settings, polite service and great tasting food and friendly to the 'wallet' Pictured here is the 'Kanthari' fish starter. The heat is toned down, the spice is well balanced and the fish is your favorite Hammour. Perfect!

Friendly staff and they passionately serve Kerala fusion delicacy. The building where the restaurant is located has lot of shisha shops, so while using the elevator you will encounter lot of weird people in the commute.

Calicut Live in a short time (2-3 years)made an attention to foodies and its spacious dine in facilities as well parking space offers free mind to be there. The corona epidemic affects all restaurants and noticed the revised rates and not sure it's worth for regular diners. The kandari chicken starter has a unique taste with flavor of kandari chili with coconut oil. Most of them offers hospitality at par and some of them believe new in the industry and may need little more flavor to handle customers

Tasty foods and lovely atmosphere

Price is too costly and the quantity is also very less. I had visited this before covid times - At that quantity was good but now they have completely reduced the quantity. 5 of us visited calicut live. We ordered Naadan Chicken Soup 3 by 5. Quantity of the soup is less than the half of the cup. Ordered Kanthari Fish and Wild Grilled Chicken. To our surprise, wild grilled chicken had only 5 small pieces of chicken. It costs 3.5 KD. Taste was ok. Kanthari fish was good. We got disappointed by the quantity of soup and Starters. For Main dish, we ordered Adivaram Fish, Parotta, chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Biriyani. Both Biriyani and fried rice was ok but the quantity was less. Adivaram Fish was superb. As we were disappointed, we did not order any dessert.

Not as good as the first visit to this restaurant , at first they would serve a paan like stuff, and welcome drink but now only welcome drink is provided. This time we ordered soup, starters, indian paratha and different types of Curries all tastes good nothing to complain about them. Overall nice restaurant ☺️👍

A place for authentic Malabar food. Had wheat porata and pathiri with chicken coconut milk curry. We ordered pandan chicken (hope the spelling is correct) and also beef ularthiyathe. Food was clean n tasty and last but not the least we had the most important ingredient- hunger😆. Lime soda as drinks. Finished our meal with nei payasam which was really amazing. Friendly n good service. Thank you. Looking forward to visit this place in the near future.

Good ambience. But it was hot inside. The food was fine. We ordered fried rice, beef, porotta and chicken curry but didn't feel it as chicken. We had starters fish and chicken spicy. And chicken soups. I feel the standards could have been even better.

The taste has never disappointed . The ambience is good and the bills are pocket friendly. Usually during weekends it can get crowded so you may reach early.
