By far one of the worst schools there is, all they care about is throwing a show, exposure, and taking all your money, but when it comes to education and curiculum standards they are the worst in the country, and global university ranking shows that clearly, it has the worst ranking in kuwait private universities. They treat students like its high school not like a university the professors have little to zero control over anything, everything is linked with the head office none with your professor. Very few student clubs whom cant even throw events or anything, none students cant even step a foot inside university, the elections are single students rather than parties which is weird, the campus is beautiful but its designed to spend most of your time outdoors as there are few places to hangout inside which in Kuwait weather is really bad. As an overall trash university, please don’t enroll there its a trap, TRUST ME I was there for two years!!!

I got an email from Olena Zakharova  who presents the recruitment officer in AUM for a job interview regarding facility position . They required me to make a presentation about a specific subject which they selected . Moreover , they send me specific templates  that have AUM symbols to make the slides on it .  Moreover , they required me to send them this presentation before the interview via email  . However , after the interview , I did not hear from them. They basically made me  work for them for free by doing high quality  presentation and sending it  to them ! Please see the attachment in this review and be aware of this ! Do not do other people jobs for free  !

As an employee, I decided to apply at this university as part of my study leave plan. I applied with high expectations and an honest belief that this was a good educational establishment (what with all their marketing propaganda). Unfortunately, often times in life our expectations couldn't be farther from reality. Everything was fine initially as I went through the registration process. I brought all the necessary documents and passed the entry examinations. The only step remaining was to pay the registration fees. There's an obvious fixation on money with private universities in Kuwait and this one is no different. I had to pay the registration fees first before receiving an acceptance letter (which I needed to submit to my potential sponsor). This meant that I had to pay the fees out of my own pocket as my sponsor couldn't green light my study leave without the letter of acceptance. I shouldn't have to pay first to get an acceptance letter. That's red flag no. 1. Despite that, I was willing to pay as they gave me a clear impression that I had been accepted and that all I had to do then was pay the fees. When I went to pay the fees I was told that there was a problem with my submitted documents. I was also told that the issue was irreconcilable and to just apply elsewhere. I wasn't even let inside the campus but rather told via phone while waiting outside in the blazing sun. Furthermore, it didn't make sense to tell me something like this during the final stage of the registration process. They had my documents for an entire month but just discovered this "issue". I called them hoping to resolve the "issue" but they just ended up giving me conflicting information regarding their registration policies. The administrations staff were dishonest and unprofessional and I'm certain that my denial of acceptance was a political move on part of this school's upper management (which they obviously won't admit). Applying here was an utter waste of my precious time and effort. There's better universities out there, do yourself a favor and apply elsewhere.

Aum is the worst out of the worst university for education , but in the having fun with friends side yes it is good to walk around the campus on winter and having good food, enjoying the view. Still you applied to receive education right ? well guess what , this is from a Kuwaiti student that studied there for 4 years ,they only care for money , they will shove the preparatory program on your face to get extra money from the government for that course, this means that they will add another year to your program which means if you are studying for a engineering bachelor normally you will be graduated in 4 years but NO , guess what all your friends will be gone for before you, and you will be stuck there for one more year because you were too busy learning abc . In the end it's not worth it find better university than this one , if you are non-Kuwaiti better of joining gust or Kuwait university , if you are Kuwaiti consider what i'm saying , aum is trying to make her self a trend not a school they make concerts and ads all over the streets just to fool high school graduates . لا تصيرون صيات و شكرا :)

Beside of luxury and one of the largest theatres of universities in Kuwait. Some students in an event in GUST Came from there and what they said was: as long as u can pay the teachers. U are going to pass. Teachers wants money not caring of educating the students.

Whay a disgrace Also parking issues, open all the parking for the students , why keep us in a crowded parking area Specifically the business area They only care about show and making trends .

    1) Discriminative hiring procedure 2) Hypocritical owner that is trying to secularize the students' minds from Islam, telling them to abandon old beliefs and to seek knowledge based on scientific facts.

I am currently penning this review with a sense of disappointment, a sentiment which is unfortunately tethered to my recent experience with the administrative department of AUM. Academic institutions are defined not only by the quality of their education and faculty, but also by the level of their administrative support. These functions, while not directly related to education, profoundly impact students' and alumni's experiences, affecting everything from course enrollment to degree certification and beyond. A significant part of my grievance is the broken promise regarding the delivery of my academic transcript. I was assured that my transcript would be dispatched within three days; however, it's been a full week since the request, and I am yet to receive it. This delay has caused considerable inconvenience and frustration, especially considering the potential ramifications for my professional or academic pursuits that may depend on timely delivery of these transcripts. Moreover, communication - a cornerstone of good service - seems to be lacking. Despite several attempts to contact the administration to gain clarity about the delay, my calls went unheeded with no substantial feedback or explanation offered. This lack of communication has only exacerbated the situation, causing unnecessary stress and concern. Universities should respect the importance of these documents in their students' lives and treat their requests with the urgency they deserve. This situation is even more disappointing given the reputation that AUM holds for academic excellence. It is a stark reminder that excellence must permeate all facets of an institution, and in this case, there's room for significant improvement.

Pros: Beautiful architecture Nice plants Huge campus I went into the college as it’s ranked number one by a company I’m sure that company was impressed because they care about impressing outsiders. Their target is fame, social media clout and impressing teens with soccer nights open for all, concerts, events etc. Remember that. My experience: At this college i have called and emailed student affairs about my inappropriate experiences with peers. Their response was “ well, if you don’t want to cheat with the students then you should just tell them you will do your part” that was in my first year. It was my first time i needed true guidance on how to handle dishonesty professionally. They said to ignore it. I went forward to explain this to the multiple groups whom wanted me to pay a tutor to complete our group project with them. I was called cheap, I was told that I am complicating things, that i was being difficult, that I could make a mistake that would lower their grades and how selfish that was of me, I was told no and I had to get into an ordeal just to not pitch in. I have to this day get into an ordeal to simply have my work represented in a group project. Every semester. One time I sent my completed part to a group member and she said yes i will submit it go into your class no worries. She did not submit it because her tutor didn’t complete it in time. I went to student affairs in person and they said well we cant do anything its a group grade doesn’t matter if one person did the whole thing but its all members responsibility to deliver it on time. I got -7% of my total grade that day. Imagine an 18-22 year old being graded by other adults actions? 😆 I as a 20 year old need to go run after another student to tell her to do her part or else i do the whole entire work myself but both our names stay on the paper as once groups are made, they can not be changed. Group work is worth minimum 30% of your total grade in courses. 30% of my grade is determined by outside factors who have no designated responsibilities. Their lack of action = my lack of action. My hard work = our hard work. I have gone to student affairs multiple times in person begging for a fix. The last “advice” i got was to choose a better group next semester… Each semester as they see students with A+, they will make the classes harder. This affects students who are within the educational level as they will be competing to keep up with tutors. Tutors: They share their numbers with students and range from 15-45kd on average to complete college work. They get added to all whatsapp class groups. Who are they? Idk. One time a tutor told my group he would send the file after his cricket game. These tutors also having nothing to lose but money. Low grade? Ill pay you back 50%. High grade? Recommend me to your friends. Are they teachers, students, or just randoms who want to make extra money. No one knows not even the cheaters. Professors: Professors know this as the language used in slides never measures to the students education. Professors see students with their phones during class tests but look the other way. Professors even let students read off their phones during presentations. Professors sometimes act to care by asking follow up questions but most of the time the students dont even comprehend basic english. Shoutout to some professors tho their teaching is outstanding. These students graduate knowing nothing but knowledge can always be learnt. Integrity however, is something that can not. Some one out there put his everything into a business just to hire graduates who will cost him more than they will make him. What does AUM get from having so many students even those who don’t understand english😏 what do they get from having students who all have A+ from blatant cheating 😏 it all circled back to fame, reputation and the personal gains that come from that.

Very nice place, organized university, wonderful management and HR team, professional treatments, high quality teaching system, solid study plans, hard working students, and much more, therefore, AUM is an extremely successful and prestigious university in Kuwait. I'm saying that although i am from Germany which is the most organized country and worked in TU-Darmstadt which is one of the most prestigious Universities ...
