Good hotel with a nostalgic vibe. It you love the Kuwait Sheraton you will find the JW Marriott pleasant at nearly half the cost. The location is ideal except for the bus station across the road which gets busy at sometimes creating excessive traffic, the customer service experience was great and the rates as I mentioned are good for a hotel at this level such a location. The hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. But let me talk about the very few areas for improvement: - The rooms were a bit darker than usual. I have a friend with difficulties in night vision and he found it difficult to stay in the room. - There was no power socket for charging near the bed, I had to leave my phone on the working desk across the room. It would have been much more easier if I could charge the phone in a more accessible area at night. - Although the hotel offers complementary water to the guests, housekeeping left only one bottle in the room. I had to call for more bottles every day. Some hotels leave 4-6 bottles in the room. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

A luxurious hotel with a spacious lobby. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room is clean, bed is comfy and the bathroom is very nice. All the 5 star hotel room accessories are available. The view from the room is very nice however the windows need cleaning from the outside. The open buffet breakfast is perfect. Rich in varieties and the service is very good and fast. Recommended for business trips!

I spent 5 days at the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Service level was excellent with staff being friendly and attentive to needs and wants. Included breakfast was good and sufficient to meet my needs. I would avoid eating at the hotel. Food is good but way overpriced. Simply go to the mall next door, third floor, where you can find a few nice restaurant options.

Comfortable Rooms | Great Facilities | Recommended —— Detailed Review Below —— Stayed here a few times over the years and have always found this to be an excellent choice for my business trips. The rooms are well-sized and comfortable. Their facilities (the gym, pools, lounges) are OK. The lounge and lobby, however, have been showing their age - and need a major overhaul. This hotel is a good enough option when traveling into Kuwait but sadly does not measure up to other JW Marriott locations worldwide. So my first time in Kuwait was war torn and I stayed in a military base, on a cot, and it sucked. Going back to Kuwait I went as a traveler and stayed here in the executive floor. It was a great time, fantastic stay, hotel, service, food, etc. overall my second time to Kuwait was great and this place helped make it that way. They were super helpful with their shuttle and got me to some nice places in town. Worth the stay. They may still have crazies living north of them, but give Kuwait a shot. *update* I’d like to apologize for calling their northern neighbors “crazies.” Every society has crazies. Some just have more and better funded crazies. The non crazies of Iraq have been making leaps and bounds to join the modern world. They are now open to American travelers and becoming safer and safer every day. I want to support them. I’ll have some posts from Iraq in the coming year or two.

Didn't actually stay in the hotel, but we actually conducted an event there. The support overseas was exceptional. The location is well suited, and there are parkings that you can arrange for your guests. The food options for tea and coffee breaks were great. Snacks and finger food, while lunch waited on the ground floor at the Crossroads restaurant. Overall, the venue was great, and technical support was available throughout. Great venue for your next event.
