This little dive has really delicious dosa! I especially enjoy the masala dosa with the red sauce. You can see into their kitchen and it looks very clean and well organised.

Udupi Restaurant is tucked away in a corner. It is a good place to enjoy traditional South Indian snacks like Idli, Wada, Sambar etc. Don't expect fancy setup if you like the dine-in experience. This is more of a quick snack place. I usually prefer to pick the food and take it home to enjoy. The place also serves the traditional 'thali' which is a proper lunch/dinner made of rice, roti, several vegetarian dishes and some sweet. This is purely a vegetarian restaurant. No non veg food is served here. Recommended.

Love the authentic food from Udupi. Feels home when we visit this place for a meal. Need to improve on ambience and quality a bit.

This rating is only for the coffee that they serve. Its cost 0.300 fils. I've tried some of their food in the past and it is pretty good. Though I'm not a big fan of Vegetables. This place is a vegetarian restaurant. The interior is too gloomy for my taste, but the restaurant does have quite a number of tables. It has outdoor seating as well and would be great for the upcoming months.

Earlier udupi salmiya was an awesome dine out experience.. i went on december 2020, the situation is pathetic.. they serve burned dosa. See i photo. Sorry for this... its not a negative review.. but they have to care these things..

The place is dead. Most of the items on the menu are not available. Basic food complimemts like lemon was out of stock. No soft drink. I feed sad for this place, which used to be such a happening and good food place before covid. Sad to see it dying.

Typical Mangalorean thali ,after a long time I felt the taste of udipi ,the natural curd served by them is absolutely amazing ,do visit if you prefer vegetarian meals

The restaurant is small on the number of seats, but big on taste. Breakfast and their lunch Thali is must try items.

Not actually an 'Udupi' considering it's not run by people from udupi/Mangalore. But the food is good! Try their dose's and ask for extra tuppa (Ghee)

Friendly and helpful staff Relatively clean kitchen & dining area. Dosa is on point. Definitely the real deal. Highly recommended for the go to Vegan place.

The food is of not the standard or taste you expect in udupi chain. Only the name is there. Food taste is not up to the mark ,They should definitely improve..

Best place for some comfort south indian breakfast. My go-to place on days when I want to have some homely food. Their Vada Sambhar and the Mysore masala dosa’s are a must try. Prices are cheap and quality and taste of the food is epic.

I had been to this place for a couple of times. The service is good, place looks decent and clean. The name is misleading as It's food is neither tasty nor feels like authentic Udupi style. It's managed by malayali group offering tamil style dosa, sambar and other things. Certainly not for those looking for a great dining experience!

My Friday went bad Looks like they dont care for customer I wanted masala dosa Wht i got is bad among all Whn i told to replace he refuse I paid for uneaten and came out I prefer a tamil restaurant nearby tht is 1000 times better.

Only dosa and thali they need to add more menu items. There are many other restaurants in the same area who have dosa and also other varieties on the menu

The sambar and chutney are tasty. I can't say the same for Dosa. The staffs are friendly and it's worth trying.

Attitude of management is pathetic.. They dont have Idli most of the time and no filter coffee, which i believe is the famous food of South India. Will never suggest anybody.

Fine South Indian vegetarian restaurant. Good for a quick snack. Not so spacious in seating but a family of 4 can manage themselves a place. Food is good.

The pictures posted do not belong to the restaurant. The restaurant is more of a cheap side-street restaurant, nothing fancy. It's been serving the same south Indian dishes since they opened. When you go in, keep the following on your mind: 1 - The food is typical South Indian and very famous among the Keralite and other south Indian community. 2 - If you are going there, do nor expect Hygiene, it's missing. 3 - Wear anything that you will put for washing as soon as possible; the smell of the restaurant and the oil, will blow your cover. Everyone will know where you've been. 4 - Prices, just like any street-food/common joint, it is "almost" reasonably priced. 5 - Parking, around the restaurant is available. RECOMMENDATION If you like South Indian food, try to use their "Take-Away" service, at least you'll save yourself from the smell. Good Luck
