I don’t understand the bad reviews. We went on a Saturday night for drinks and the service we received was amazing. From the coat check , to the lady who showed us our tables, to the service we received up top was nothing short of great. The music could’ve been better but that’s a matter of taste, and people looked like they were enjoying it so I can’t knock the techno. Drinks were good, the vibe and the view is breathtaking. I will definitely go back to this place in New York City

The most beautiful rooftop I've been to so far! Best views as well. Made a reservation on a Fr evening and got in almost instantly. DJ was there when we came. It was a bit slower music in the beginning, but it got more modern/classic hits in a few hours. Overall, we loved the music! Also, the cocktails were amazing! It looked a bit empty, but as I understood, it turns into a nightclub after 10 p.m.

Attended on a Friday night and was overwhelmed with drunk 20 year olds; one was seem vomiting outside the club yet noone told him or his friends to leave. Then get inside & coat check was mandated before we got upstairs to hear the 90s rap and R&B music; like Usher “Yeah”, are we at a bad sweet 16? Overpriced well drinks. Angle photos definitely make the place appear bigger than it actually is. A friend DJs here and it always looks great. Hoping for a better experience should I come back. Oh, great views!

Maybe it is just me, but I really not missing this classical city night club setting, once I discovered Brooklyn Mirage. By setup I meant very aggressive push for a table service and bar minimum. Since I was driving I ended up paying $350 for a peice of couch and a can of red bull. Although it is located on the last floor of the building it is not really a rooftop. Yes there is good Birdseye view of the city , but in order to see it you have to intrude someone's table. On the bright side, if you are in the mood for some action during the week, that could be a good place to try.

An incredibly beautiful bar with the best jazz music (on Wednesdays) and a great view. The space is a little small but that doesn't stop everyone from bathing in the energy. Can get pretty crowded. Lots of dancing on jazz Wednesdays. Had a spicy margarita and it was playfully delicious.

Nyc has no shortage of beautiful rooftop bars with great drinks and this one needs a lot more work on its drinks to make the cut. We ordered three cocktails and didn't like any which is pretty ridiculous. The arancini appetizer was pretty good. We went in the winter with the rooftop igloos which were very well decorated and cozy. But the wind on the rooftop was insane! We couldn't actually be outside for more than a few minutes at a time and the servers(who were very nice) were running to and from the kitchen in their winter coats! Lol. I'd probably give them a try in the summer again if a lot of reviews mention their drinks getting better since the service from start to finish was pretty great and the view is pretty nice too.

If I could give them a 0 I would. Absolutely terrible service. Forced our group to wait in line for an hour, passed us over and let the people behind us in then told us the guys in our group would have to pay a $150 bar minimum if we wanted to come in (the people behind us didn’t have to pay). We were excited to come here but will never be coming back and recommend no one else waste their time. Plenty of other welcoming and fun clubs in the area. Don’t waste your time or money.

Stayed in the Igloo with a friend and it was a perfect night! Everyone was so incredibly friendly from the manager who walked us there to our server who was so charismatic and took great care of us. The igloo was equipped with a fireplace, Alexa and cozy blankets. The perfect evening to spend with friends. The cocktails were reasonably priced and the view was amazing. Would I come back again here? Absolutely! 11/10 experience

The club is neat looking and small. But they don’t publish set times and it’s infuriating. I came to see a show and I was super excited to see the head liner. The doors opened at 9 and so I knew the headliner wouldn’t probably go on till at least 11 or 12. I went through all their social media post, their whole website, and all things associated with with the head liner. No where does it say when he goes on. I got to the club at 9.30 to just try and get a good spot near the front. The first opener played for 2 hours and the second guy seemed to have another 2 hour set list. I would not of come in I’ll 12 if I knew this. Like it’s so annoying. Ended up leaving before the headliner even came on because he probably wasn’t going on till 1 or maybe even 2. How hard is it to say when certain performers are coming on.

We enjoyed our time here at somewhere nowhere. The cocktails are very good and the rooftop views are beautiful! Great to grab drinks with coworkers and friends and spend the afternoon into evening. Not sure why they have low stars, we enjoyed our evening!

The view is nice. The food is beyond abysmal. Fries were served cold (why would they commit such an atrocity) and the drinks were pretty much a hotchpotch of liquors mixed together. Went on a monday so the service was quick as it wasn't too busy. Had to go here once since staying at the renaissance hotel. In short, the view is great, food/drinks beyond terrible, service decent. Pricing compared to other rooftops in nyc.

This was one of the highlights of our weekend stay. Rooftop views were incredible. We went for early evening drinks and appetizers. Our server Sophia was lovely. Overall all of the staff was very accommodating. Every drink we had was perfectly poured and food was also tasty.

So the view is fanstastic and the drinks and food were fine. The club on the other hand over charged and double charged us to get us well above the minimum charge, plus the music was flat out bad! Mediocre service, plus a not so hospitable place given the hotel in the building kinda shoved us out of the loby and even off the curb! In the end, it's a nice looking place but i wouldnt go back at all.

We had an absolutely incredible time here! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view of the city skyline that stretched out before us. The rooftop oasis provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city below. The pool was pristine and inviting, offering a refreshing respite from the summer heat. The attentive and friendly staff ensured that we had everything we needed, and the delicious cocktails and delectable food added to the overall fantastic experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, I highly recommend this rooftop pool club for an unforgettable day of relaxation and luxury in the heart of NYC! ⛱️🏙️🌞

Amazing views, cocktails on point and service that improves each visit. Don’t let the sea of people waiting to get in, or the long lines on the elevator to 35th floor discourage you. The newest addition to the roof top style post Covid has lived up to all its expectations. The haters are the ones that can’t get in, and they are right to say service isn’t up to par; but after a few visits I have noticed the improvement and crowd begin to be more regulars than tourists or promoters.

I want to say first and foremost that this review is based on being here during the day (around 6pm) and not for an event. We had cocktails on the 38th floor as we were told we needed a reservation for the 39th (the rooftop). No issue, we were just looking for some great craft cocktails. It’s pricey as is to be expected from this type of experience in NYC but the cocktails were fantastic and our bartender was fun and friendly. The theme is very enchanted/secret forest with garden gnomes and floral decor. I know with certainty that the vibe and overall feel would be very different for a nightclub event versus stopping in for a couple drinks. So again, this review can’t speak to what it’s like for nightlife. The view is great because of the huge windows on the lounge level. We also stopped on the rooftop before leaving just for the view and it really is lovely. If you’re looking for tasty and creative cocktails in a lovely space, it’s worth stopping in.

Nice and cozy place to experience night life in New York. Well designed and colorful interior, great drinks and very unique guest musicians. Usually main event djs arrive after 12 am, so don’t rush to early. Very professional stuff and security.

This place was crazy fun. Went on a Wednesday evening during Jazz night and had a wonderful time. The music and dancing were a blast. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, a throw back event, then this is the place to come. Bring your dance shoes and make a reservation. If you come early then you can take advantage of happy hour pricing.

NYC's hot spot with all the right reasons. Located on a high floor of the hotel. Beautifully decorated with cluster of mirror balls contrasting to million dollars view of New York City skyscraper backdrop.

This was my first time going to a club and I really enjoyed it! The views of the Empire State Building from the teardrop igloos are spectacular! My favorite drink was the Queen of Hearts. After the igloo, my friends and I went downstairs to the club and danced the night away!

Giving Somewhere Nowhere five stars for its spaciousness and cleanliness. With COVID on the rise again I appreciate that the venue doesn’t have a lot of touch points. It felt nice to go to a popular spot with enough room that I wasn’t bumping into people every five seconds.

In New York City, there are tons of venues/bars/nightclubs etc.. you name it. SWNW is something else, I came on a Friday night to party. the moon was crescent, green velvet on the mixer and alcohol in my system, what else can you ask for? The bartenders were blessing it, the staff was blessing it, velvet was blessing it. I was feeling the vibe he provided, at the end of our visit I was lit, I was feeling good and bless. Venue is Highly recommend 5/5⭐️⭐️

Went to the rooftop bar between the hours of 5-8:30pm on a Friday evening with my boyfriend before late dinner reservations. When we initially got there, we essentially had the entire rooftop to ourselves and I loved it! The vibe is really cute! We were seated inside at first and then transitioned to the igloo outside. Despite it raining, it was still perfect, cozy and intimate. There is a $300 minimum for this, but you receive a complimentary bottle of Veuve. You can connect your phone to a speaker inside the igloo to set the music vibe you want to curate. The views of the Empire State building were beautiful. We also had a great server that frequently came outside to check on us despite the rain. For my experience, I took off one star for the drinks which I felt were tasty, but could have definitely been stronger.

We came here as a date night for the igloo experience during the holidays at the end of December. This was at the rooftop and the views are quite stunning as you get a beautiful shot of the NYC skyline. The igloo itself is super cute and cozy. Our server was Lily and she was amazing - very attentive!!! Menu is limited and food is not bad.

I think the staff actually made my experience noteworthy. We had a sports league event reserve the whole venue. The elevator situation sucks getting up to the bar but I enjoyed the courteous manner, humor, and friendliness of their staff along the wait. The DJ was amazing remixes. The decor is sweet and the view of the city is amazing!

There is a beautiful place with amazing views of the Empire and NYC skyline. I usually go there on Wednesdays when they have a jazz party with swing dancing. It's a great way to bring people together, socialize, and enjoy cocktails while taking in the beautiful views of Manhattan.

Dont know this rooftop has bad reviews. It is small and cozy so if you want a place to sit back and actually be able to hear what your company is saying this is the place for you. Amazing views! I so want to visit again and reserve one of the cute lgloo but we will see. I ordered the waygu sliders and truffle fries. No complaints, resonable price. The drink I dont remember the name but my cocktail was whisky with apple juice and cinnamon and it was the best! The next best after the view was my cocktail! And the service was friendly and i love the tree they put up for christmas.

Nice view, cozy and quit place to hang out on Monday. I can’t complain a lot but I would definitely improve their appetizer menu as they have only 5-6 choices. Also some of the servers don’t speak English or don’t understand it very well. Small, drinks were fine we picked it just because other places were closed.

Pros: DJ was legit, quality sound system, decor is well done. Cons: lines to get in were awful, and just a total scene with some of the fakest people you’ll ever see. Not really the venue’s fault—I guess lost souls need to be catered to as well. That said, this is definitely where lost souls come to ‘party.’ If you have any respect for yourself, you’ll spend your precious time in this life somewhere else.

Me and my friends got only drinks and they were fine, but about the food I can’t tell… The view is amazing so basically you pay for the view. Coat check is $5 and I recommend to contact a promoter to get free tickets.

I recently went to this place with a couple of friends for a night out, but it wasn't great. We had to wait outside for ages, and it was freezing. When we finally got to the front, they wouldn't let our guy friend in without paying $200, even though we had a friend with a table inside. The bouncers were rude at first, but a bit nicer this time. When we went inside to find our friend, the vibe was off. There weren't many people, and nobody was really dancing. The VIP area was cramped behind the DJ booth. The music was good, but the place felt small. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'd tell anyone to go there.

They were on point! Super friendly and always making sure we had the time of our lives throughout the night. The vibe was off the charts! The party seamlessly transitioned from indoors to the incredible rooftop. Clean, cool, and just all-around awesome, this place definitely deserves a solid five stars! Can't wait to come back for more fun!
