It is an old building with old decors that gives the "heritage" vibe. The hotel really needs maintenance. We reserved the suit with two rooms (master bedroom with bath and another bedroom with two beds and another bathroom), a kitchen, a living room. Many electric outlets are broken and dangerous to use. The bathroom door handle was broken and came off. Main bedroom windows have short curtains that do not block the light. The most disappointing thing was the parking. The parking spots in front of the hotel are paid parking spots. The service was outstanding. The staff were very professional and polite. The location is amazing within walking distance to Qaisariah heritage market (a must visit place. But that's for another review). And right across the street is the palace of Ibrahim Pasha the Ottoman ruler. All in all I believe the hotel is a bit expensive for it's quality. The old decor and heritage appearance does not excuse the poor maintenance and bad upkeeping of the hotel.

We visited the restaurant in the hotel for a lunch. The atmosphere and decoration are designed to mimic the old Hasa tradition. The food was great ( especially the Hasawi rice with lamp meat). Highly recommended

Hotel looks nice and stylish but unfortunately has poor service. For its high price you would expect much more. What you get is communication problems and unavailability of services. In the evening we were informed that they cannot offer dinner but next day between 7-12 will be provided breakfast. After double checking the breakfast time, next day morning at 10am we were just informed that simply “sorry today is no breakfast”. Same story with the invoice - reception staff informed us that we already have confirmation of card payment receipt and they are not providing invoices. We have lost a lot of time on discussions and explaining our right to get invoice. We speak Arabic but in case of only English speaking guests you can expect even more “problems”. There are several people working in this rather small - boutique hotel but no one is eager to help you with your luggage. Big disappointment.

At the first glance when you get inside the restaurant you will feel the warming of heritage in every corner. The was was good but served cold, I called the waiter too and I explained my concern he took the dishes and after a while return them the same. the downside of this place I arrived at 2:00 PM without reservation and I was told by the receptionist they are fully booked she said to come back by 4:00 PM and I did I came at 4:00 and they said to me no table was available we are booked and I was horrified and I told the lady you told me to came back at 4 and she made her self and found a table. The waiter came with the menu and said we have only 3 main dishes and we running out today of food. this is a really unacceptable and very bad experience for me as a visitor to ihsa that's why I decided to give them 3 stars

This is a fabulous small Saudi hotel with modern, comfortable and quite rooms. There are only seven hotel rooms in this historic building along with a restaurant on the ground floor. The food served in the restaurant is fantastic. The building is full of Saudi antiques which adds to the old world charm. The old Palace is 1 block away and the Souq is a 10min walk away from the hotel.

(Translated by Google) exaggerated prices They say in the menu there are popular dishes with meat, and I have not seen a piece of meat, neither in Harees nor in Al-Hasawi rice. The place is beautiful, but it is small. It can be enough for six families Unfortunately, we have low and decadent music clips that do not suit respectable people And I don't need songs at all to eat The sister at the reception did not delay our call and reacted to change the channel The person responsible for the orders does not have the necessary tact and his treatment with the customer is not good (Original)

Lunch and breakfast were excellent, high end traditionally food at excellent prices. Total authentic traditional experience in a decent location, with very helpful staff. Water pressure in the bathrooms on the first floor should improve, it's the only missing point. However, this issue didn't exist on the ground floor.

أسوء تجربة في حياتي The food was overpriced and tastes bad. The worst customer service. Everything was slow and delayed. Some food and drink never arrived. Stay away from this place and thank me later.

Despite how polite was the receptionist but we don't get what we reserved. Junior suite is too small and workers of the restaurant are sitting beside the door with noisy area.I don't recommend that for any body

Lovely little hotel, albeit we didn’t stay here, we visited their restaurant/cafe which is located in the hotel courtyard. Lovely traditional ambience, they have a library which is available for booking for conferences and meetings and such. It’s a mini museum of all things old and traditional

I didn’t stay at the hotel but I went to the restaurant. I ordered rice with meat 🥩 Hassa style which was amazing 😻 My only recommendation is to educate your waiters on how to greet customers and on their English. They were nothing but nice don’t get me wrong but I wished communication were better. Best of luck!!

Even though the place has a remarkable Arabic style, we wouldn’t stay there once again. At 10 pm stuff came into our apartment to replace the old furniture with the new ones waking up our baby. As an apology they offered a free breakfast, but at the check out it turned out we had to pay for it, because the lady at the counter didn’t know who was working the previous day and who offered it. The whole apartament was full of cockroaches, dead and alive.

(Translated by Google) The place for those who love folklore and folk food 1- Their prices are very exaggerated, a quarter with biryani rice for 48 riyals 2- The mash is delicious 3- Lentil soup, I do not recommend it 4- The place is very small and muffled 5- Soft drinks for 7 riyals.!!.

Nice hotel if you like the traditional Saudi experience. It’s a pretty small hotel, rooms are quite dark and no windows.. not everyone’s cup of tea but their dinning area is quite nice!

The hotel is more than excellent, a place distinguished by its ancient history, not only a hotel but a museum. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and learn the history of a region as well as try the popular dishes of the region.

Hotel standards such as hygiene , food, maintenance, service has deteriorated big time in two years time. It’s just good to visit take photos and leave.

This review is specifically for the Iftar Buffet. They charge SR. 100.00 per person. The variety of dishes is limited to 4, the pasta doesn't get refilled, the biryani is only chicken, the bread is the 1 riyal khobas from outside. The selection of drinks is limited to three, tang, vimto and laban. They only serve one desert. The salad selection is limited to 3 as well. Unfortunately, the time between the buffet emptying out and the buffet being refilled is unbelievably long. The food tastes just average, the service is non existent, you will struggle to find empty glasses, forks or even plates.

An authentic Hesawi food prepared by professional Saudi ladies to the best expected taste. The heritage theme in the courtyard adds to the experience. Will definitely visit again.

A wonderful hotel that managed to keep its authenticity, and which is well decorated in textile, colours, paintings and else. An ideal place for any traveller looking to escape the classic standards of hotel. Very functionnal and decorated with taste, without "surprises" for twin bedroom (pic). King suit (no pic) is even greater and well done, with 2 showers, kitchen and 2 living room. Genuinly appreciated for a couple with 1 kid. Restaurant has correct prices by EU standards and tasty by french standard, with fast service unlike in other places. A place to recommend to any experienced traveller looking for a charming accommodation for a night or two !

Old palace turn to hotel If you visit Al-Hassa you must visit this gorgeous hotel Everything here take you back to old times From the carpet and paving to each tiny details like tables, dishes, food, old electronic devices, old items collection for the show, clothes, beautiful painting on the walls, decoration, books and atmosphere The staff was very polite and respectful Special thanks to latifah we had our wonderful lunch with no reservation and with her help. If you can't take room here at least eat

This review is limited to the restaurant. The food is less than expected, as shown in other reviews, and amount suits for food trailer not a complete meal e.g. In Hasawi meat only 3 tiny portions of meats in a bowl. Overall, atmosphere is good but prices are exaggerated.

A boutique hotel that offers traditional accommodation. We didn't check in since it's a bit pricey and not practical for our budget. Hangout for awhile while having tea and absorbing and appreciating around us. The building has an atrium and the ground floor has a sitting area that can be a dining or tea lounge.

Great place to enjoy the Saudi traditions and cuisine. Pure hasawi food indeed.

I would rate this place with 3 and a half stars. It is considered as a Heratge site. The location is good. Service is ok, friendly staff although not professional enough. The rooms are OK. But where I stayed the ventilation was not good enough, the cleanliness of the suite was not acceptable, dust was everywhere. I had to dust myself. Food at the restaurant is ok but for a Heratge site could be much better as a srepresentetive for local cuisine.

I asked the hotel if they have parking spaces, they told me that the paid parking in front of the hotel is paid by them and it's free all year long. When I asked about the actual spaces they pointed out the parking space numbers. When I left the hotel the next day I found that I was issued a parking ticket. When I talked to the hotel about it they told me that one of the spots is actually a private spot owned by an individual, and they "insisted" that it was explained to me when I checked it, which they didn't. An expensive hotel with garbage rooms and slow and cold food service. And now I've lost more money on a parking ticket because of their neglect and indifference. Never coming back.

A beautiful popular style hotel and restaurant. My session in the restaurant and eating was a variety of popular dishes that allow us to try them and get to know the civilization of the people of Al-Ahsa and it was very tasty. And the service is excellent.

It hasa great restaurant and the breakfast is delicious but compared by the price... It is very expensive. You get the feeling of a traditional place which is cozy and beautiful but I prefer taste and price over the look of a place.

Great place to stay at when you visit Al Ahsa. Traditional theme. Very clean and well maintained. Rooms are large and very quiet. We stayed at two bedrooms apartment with two bathrooms and one kitchen and living area. You can order traditional food from hotel restaurant at your room for all three meal. All where declious. There is no dedicated or covered parking. You need tp ask for daily room cleaning. Apart from two bottles pf water (not free) and tea no other room supplies. Kitchen has a friedge, water boiler and microwave. If I visit Al Ahsa again i will stay here again.
