Great service and delicious Indonesian food. I’m so glad to find a clean, bright and airy Indonesian restaurant here in Abu Dhabi. The place has only been open a couple of months, so looking forward to seeing some breakfast options maybe in the near future. Nonetheless, we will be back! Terima kasih! 🙏🇮🇩

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely REMPAH INDONESIAN RESTAURANT in 654 Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed St. Al Manhal. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in REMPAH INDONESIAN RESTAURANT. Highly recommend!

Tasty foods with many options for indonesian dishes with reasonable price and enough portions for sharing. Good ambience room with nice interior layout 👍. Friendly staffs and best services, one of them is Edo. Want to come again for sure👍

I have been to alot of Indonesian restaurants in UAE. This restaurant can be added to my occasionally to go restaurant. Food is good. Ordered Ayam taliwang. Taste good but abit dry. If only it be served with plain soup will be an added value. Price, abit pricey compared to other restaurants. Service is good.

Food - definitely one of the best Indonesian restaurant in Abu Dhabi Service - friendly and welcoming staff Price - Very reasonably priced with good choice of menu If you are person who would like to try new cuisines and love the Asian flavors, Rempah - Indonesian is definitely a must visit place to enjoy the flavors of Indonesia. We tried Tahu Gejrot Cirebon (Tofu), Mie Goreng Duk-Duk (egg noodles), ayam bakar taliwang (chicken meal) and Es kopi Indonesia (cold luwak coffee with palm sugar). All were cooked well and tasted well. Must recommend the Tofu and cold coffee.

What an amazing experience!! Literally some of the best food I've ever had. These guys really know what they are doing! Their flavors are soooo authentic. It really feels like eating on an Indonesian island! Also the service was perfect and we didn't wait too long to receive the food! It is a tiny hidden gem and not easy to find, but I hope you'll read this review and you'll come to try! Enjoy!

We chose to dine here reading the positive reviews. We came with high expectations to have Indonesian food but it was a very mediocre experience for us. Some of the items like martabak telor were over fried to the extent that it was almost burnt. It was so excessively oily. The tamarind dipping sauce it came with was laden with palm sugar. Even though palm sugar has a slightly lower glycemic index compared to regular sugar, they use it excessively which makes it too sweet and unhealthy. The tahu ( tofu) gerjot deep fried tofu tasted good - it had the exact same tamarind dipping sauce poured over it. The bir pletok betwaki drink was so unimaginably sweet - we asked for it to be replaced and they said it cannot. The server was kind enough to give us some water to reduce the sweetness. We were told that it is sweet because of cane sugar which is naturally healthy. Now, cane sugar is the type of sugar made from sugarcane. The sucrose molecules in both types of sugar are identical, so scientifically there isn't much difference. Overall, the drink we got was EXCESSIVELY sweet. The food we got was EXCESSIVELY oily and deep fried. The problem with the restaurant is that they over use the basic ingredients ( out of proportion). The accompaniments ( dips and sauces) were good. All this came at a price of 102.9 AED which was very poor value for money. The only redeeming element was the fact that the lady server apologized for the bad experience and was very friendly and courteous.

The food was good and I would recommend to those who are new. I liked it but not of a great hype. Its authentic. Restaurant was good. Waiters were very polite. I tried the seafood portion. I only wish there was more meat to my meals.

I had amazing Padang food here. I wasn’t expecting the taste which I get in Indonesia, but I was amazed. Will definitely be visiting here frequently. Great staff and service. They replaced the chicken breast to chicken leg after my request with any hassle. I actually wanted to have Soto, but it was on their breakfast menu. I’ll be trying that next time. Edit: Awesome. Planning on visiting again very soon to try Soto.

Place has indonesian ambiance. Place is small and very limited tables. Food is very tasy and servings are very generous. Authentic taste.. Some staff know very little english. Food is good and taste newly cooked and not heated in microwave. Pricewise?! Hmm.. somehow reasonable.

Really delicious, tastes like the real deal. I recommend ordering Seafood Jimbaran and Tempe Mendoan. As for the drinks, avocado juice is the way to go. :^)

Rempah has an inviting atmosphere and made the best impressions! Excellent hosts, mouthwatering food, stunning presentation and a fantastic dessert. It is the OG + legit Indonesian restaurant in Abu Dhabi. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I appreciate the Rempah family joining me in celebrating my birthday. Thank you sooo much!

We had dinner at Rempah last night. It was amazing! The food was delicious and yummy. We had deserts too but totally forgot to take the photos. The Terang Bulan (chocolate and peanut) is a MUST (sorry no photo 😁) I totally recommended Rempah for a total Indonesian food experience. The food taste homecooked, spices and flavour are perfect and the ambience are just amazing.

We were greeted by friendly and warm staff. Given us a good seat for a group of 8. It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. They have wide list of Indonesian food. Everything was delicious. We’ll surely come back.

One of the best Indonesian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi with below highlights: 1. I have tried some tasty foods such as Martabak Telur, Terang Bulan, Pempek (but sauce bit too thick), and Sate Ayam / Chicken Satay. Since portion is big, it is good for sharing. 3. On the weekend, they offer some breakfast menu (chicken porridge, soto, nasi uduk, nasi kuning etc) with only 25dhs. Portion for breakfast is smaller than regular / only for personal. 3. Clean and Cozy place with Indonesian ornaments. 4. service is very attentive. I've been here many times with family and friends but dont have much pictures as we were enjoying the foods.

Very friendly staff. It was our first time dining here so we asked server to suggest something good and she did great job because both items she suggested were really delicious. Sitting area is just a little small otherwise very good
