Al
Reehan
Public
Garden
(previously
named
Al
Zafaranah
or
Al
Muroor
park)
is
a
spacious
green
park
all
covered
with
grass
and
different
grownup
trees
which
is
rare
to
find
in
the
city,
open
24/7
with
security
service
personal.
Wooden
benches
are
scattered
around
the
park
and
multiple
Barbeque
BBQ
spots
with
a
concrete
table-like
concrete
structure
and
concrete
bin
for
safe
charcoal/embers
disposal.
There
are
no
walking
paths
or
designated
bicycle
paths,
this
grassy
open
space
is
a
totally
different
experience
but
be
aware
that
the
ground
is
not
flat,
and
it
is
tricky
for
people
who
walk
at
night
with
dim
lighting
design.
There
are
only
three
concrete
gazebos
that
provide
shelter
from
sun,
which
are
close
to
the
main
street
(Sultan
Bin
Zayed
Street)
and
can
serve
the
purpose
of
small
gatherings
and
maybe
birthday
celebrations.
A
toilet
facility
in
the
middle
of
the
park
which
is
clean
and
well
serviced
in
addition
there
is
a
paid
toilet
cabin.
Parking
lots
are
plenty
(standard
paid
public
parking),
main
parking
accessible
from
Sultan
Bin
Zayed
street
(which
is
poorly
maintained),
three
back
side
parking
spaces
are
available
as
well
(the
best
one
through
Al
Fawalah
street).
It's
suitable
for
family
picnic/dayout
but
there
is
no
designated
kids’
area
or
playgrounds,
also
no
training/exercise
area
or
sport
courts.
An
open
praying
location
available
deep
inside
the
park.
This
park
is
very
nice,
clean
and
quiet/
peaceful
but
expect
to
find
plenty
of
insects
as
you
walk
around,
as
you
walk
away
from
the
street
the
traffic
noises
get
lower.
