Twisted ribs are hard and overcooked. The steak was raw and they just can't get it right. What a shame since the waitress was amazing. Nice decor but not worth the low quality cooks.

It's been a few years since my last visit. Have always enjoyed their prime ribs. This outing I tried the Aussie style prime rib. It was cooked as requested. The taste was unique and flavorful. The quality for the cut of meat was very disappointing. I ordered the 16 Oz. It was cut at an angle like a ski slope. Leaving to question if it was really 16 Oz. Now prime rib is normally marbled with fat. This is well understood and expected. What was served turned out to be fully 40% fat. All at one end. That should have been trimmed ahead of serving. Sad to see the chain losing it's edge. Won't be ordering that again. My wife cooks better at home.

Medium steak was very well done. The Mac and cheese was cold on the outside and inside. Waiter was pleasant. The person who brought a replacement steak (which was medium well) and Mac and cheese was rude, didn't identify himself, and never apologized for the additional *30* minutes waiting nor an offer to discount for the rudeness and inconvenience. I probably would have been happy with an apology and correctly cooked steak.

This Outback is awesome. The foods are prepped as requested. The staff is very accommodating. The restaurant is very clean. I eat here a few times a week. The management team is very good to work for. Shelby is a great server. She is very friendly and personable.

Good location. Was not busy on Christmas Eve. Staff was great, food was even better. I would recommend to all.

As a family, we have been going to the Outback-Gainesville, Florida, for 15 years. What once was a real treat back in 2008-2010 became a complete waste of our money in the years between then and now. UNTIL NOW! This afternoon, for my birthday, (which was unannounced and kept from staff), we took a chance and returned to the Outback after a hiatus of atleast a year. The restaurant has a new look which we found very inviting. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server, Thelwell, immediately introduced himself and took our drink orders using a tablet. The drinks arrived very quickly. We placed our order, and again, the tablet was used. This tablet system was a new experience for us at Outback and it truly streamlined the process. Our food arrived. It’s presentation, outstanding! It was also absolutely delicious! And we were appreciative that the manager, Keith, came to our table to make sure we had a great meal. It is fair to say, we were extremely satisfied with our experience and will return in the near future.

Very friendly Staff. Our server was on top of her game we always had drinks never had to wait for anything. Our appetizer came out not burnt like we asked. Steak and potato is very tasty . Considering it was a holiday wasn't quite busy iat all actually got right in

The food was great and the waitress was friendly. Downside is they seem to be wearing masks below their nose which isn't great and they were a bit slow coming to our table to get our order but understandably it was quite busy. Also minor nitpicking on my end but it was odd being greeted at an Australian themed restaurant with a "hey y'all."

Eating here now, not busy at all, servers energetic, great atmosphere, fast good food, compliments to the entire staff and management!

November 6, 2022- Steak was juicy and delicious. Sweet potato had a funny taste to it salad was good. Bathroom had a funny smell but was clean and had hot water to wash your hands. I’d definitely return. Had the strawberry lemonade. Had to get some To go.

My first time been in this restaurant and has good flavor in the food except my drink I couldn't drinking was too way sweet in the piña colada drink.

Alex did a great job as our server. Our food was exactly as ordered and we really enjoyed our meal. We used the online list available to be seated quicker too.

I did not like the way that they prepared the prime rib . But the customer service was excellent. The manager was really nice and helpful.

My mom and I visited Outback for lunch today. Shout out to our waitress, Madelyn, who was absolutely superb! She was the perfect amount of outgoing and friendly, bringing a very relaxed and fun energy to the table; as well as delivering a smooth and satisfying service! In addition, she was informative when I had a few questions when ordering. Our drinks, appetizers, sides, and meals were out at a quick pace and there was no long wait on anything. Our food was also cooked exactly how we had ordered and very delicious!! It’s not often I get out to a sit down restaurant, but this was definitely a 11/10 experience!! If I find myself back there again at some point soon, I hope I can get the pleasure of getting served by Madelyn again! :) Side note: The strawberry kiwi lemonade is sooo good!! Definitely consider giving it a try!

The blooming onion was cooked in old grease come out sogging wet in Grease the meatloaf was super salty and there's no refills on chocolate milk and a glass wasn't even but a little bit over half full but the waiter was nice

Food was great and super tasty. We ordered the mac and cheese bited and they were AMAZING. In the actual meal the chicken was a little bit spicy for my personal taste but it wasn't excessive. We ordered meat medium well but it was still a little too red. Chicken tenders are wonderful and honey mustard is very good. Salmon was veggie were a good choice as well. The only thing we didn't really like was the mashed potatoes. Good environment too we will back 😀

I ordered French onion soup and a bloomin burger with fries. The soup was pretty good but the rest of my meal was equally that bad. The burger was raw (ordered medium rare) and the fries were soggy and gross. Fortunately I didn't order any of the really expensive dishes here, if you can't make a burger properly then I'll pass on spending 30-40 for a plate of steak. Sad to see the quality so low as outback used to be really good... updated review, they brought me a second burger which was also raw. They did not charge me for either burger but they're definitely having a terrible night tonight. As I was leaving I overheard the couple in a booth next to me saying their medium steak was raw as well... so unfortunate, definitely won't be returning here.

Good location with plenty of places to use, it has a good amount of parking. The service was quick to seat you and take your order and staff were there to assist you in whatever way possible. The food we ordered was right up there for me with the steak and sides. My girlfriend had a sandwich with shredded meat and it was tasty and juicy with mashed potatoes. We didn't have dessert as we were full afterwards.

Outback serves delicious food and has great attention. They even taylored my dish with a delicious salad.

This is the best steak I have had in Gainesville so far. Incredible food, well worth the 30 minute wait for a table. Delicious appetizers and steaks, A.J. did a great job as our server. He was friendly and attentive to all our needs. They also have a unique selection of mixed drinks. We will be back again.

I came for lunch yesterday before my daughter’s therapy appointment. I ordered the grilled chicken Barbie, blue cheese pecan salad, and a cup of potato soup. The chicken was the only part that was good and thankfully my daughter ate that. The salad was swimming in dressing. Although I do love dressing, this was way too much and not edible. The soup was ice cold. Usually the soup is thicker and has chucks of potatoes. This soup looked like it was water and there were no potatoes. No manager came over even though they were not busy at all. Pretty disappointed as we left feeling hungry still.

My wife and I ate lunch there after a doctor appointment. No crowd at all. We almost had the place to ourselves. Still love that blooming onion

My wife and I just had the perfect lunch here. Everything was great - food, atmosphere, and especially service. Our waiter, John M. could not have been better. He friendly, helpful, and attentive.
