I stayed at Value Lodge for 5 nights and wanted to stay more. I know there are some reviews that are not complimentary, but I found everything just about perfect. It was quiet, really quiet despite the road out in front. No one was yelling or banging on my door to get out. The floor was clean and vacuumed, the bath was as clean as anyone could make it. Everything worked and the shower was all kinds of hot water. I loved the TV, there was a chair to sit on (unlike many motels where they expect you to sit on the bed). I used my computer at the table, the plugs worked and honestly I don't think I've ever come across so many lamps that not only work, but have 3 speeds. I felt safe with the heavy door and the people in the office were very nice to me. It is convenient to many places and I will stay there again and recommend it to others over some of the big names. I also wanted to add that the cleaning people were sweet and accommodating and never imposed or were a bother to me.+

Came after 10p.m. last night. Just wanted to rest. Bathroom door didn't lock. Nor did it have tissue paper. AND THE WORST THING YET IS I JUST CAME FROM THE ER THIS MORNING DUE TO ME BEING ATE UP WITH FREAKING BEDBUGS. I called the establishment to let them know. And it wasn't really I'm my opinion handled appropriately. I will NOT return no matter how close they are to hospitals. Room 434 do NOT STAY IN. BEDBUGS !!!!!!!!!

Definitely not for families!! Or women absent a man. Probably good for big strong truckers needing a few hours of sleep. Not safe at all. Be very careful.

Stayed here for a night, found a roach in the bathroom. There was also a huge spider on the wall. I was checking the bed for bed bugs and found 4 dead roaches behind the bed.. room was extremely dirty.. we stayed here because we moved from Ohio, and arrived at 10pm and had to wait until the rental office opened to get our keys to our apartment. This was a horrible experience. This should be 40$ a night not 70+. Super run down.

It should be removed from the hosting list. Good attention at check in. Disappointment when arriving at the room, an invasion of cockroaches coming out of the floor carpet, torn sheets with cigarette burn holes. Dirty bathroom and in poor condition. Room with unpleasant smell. Old and dirty furniture, rusty lamps. Horrible sanitary conditions. We left the place and went to another hotel.

Not the best. Noisy close to road ( its as if the window is open that how loud it is). Doors don't close correctly. Sheets are not super clean. Mirror has mystery gunk on it. Only 2 pillows. Holes in top sheets. Missing light bulbs in lamps. The bathroom door does not close correctly and it's not super clean. It's definitely an older building in need of upgrading. The rug is "clean ish". The computer chair has amyster stain we can clean. Found a mystery hair ball on the floor. The worst is the front door, only 1 dead bolt lock but we can see daylight as it has no insulation and is too small. We are not gonna stay here again. The noise from the neighbors in other rooms is crazy.

One (1) star. Thats it!!! Roaches. Needed handicap accessible room. One of the rubber stoppers. on shower chair was missing. Their solution was to put tiles under leg. Brought me a metal stopper that didn't fit. Also, fridge, microwave, floors and dresser as well as night stand drawers were EXTREMELY DIRTY!!! Dunno. MAYBE1 star is too generous!!??😳😒

Room smelled like dirty wet socks, base boards and floors were gross. Broken fixtures, toilet didn’t flush, chipped paint, rusty faucets, bugs, window smears, broken curtains… just gross. Positive, sheets were clean. Way too over priced! $129 a night? Even tho we were double charged, the owner was accommodating.

My home became flooded and I had to stay here for a few days. The location is okay. The rooms smelt of smoke in a non smoking room. The bathroom doors would not lock and the sheets were not exactly as clean as I would have hoped.

I have delt with them in many occasions and honestly untill they change there management attitude and get rid of that house on the property. Which will open up some light in that area and run it like a hotel and possibly use the layout and resources in the area to get more engaged in the community. I don't see them ever getting ride of the run down stigma it has defently the last resort place

Very clean. Great comfortable bed. Great price!! Not fancy but perfect for my needs!!

Horrible really for $73. We stayed just the night the bedsheets were torn, the couch cover was torn, there was a chewing gum on the couch corner the toilet did not have an exhaust or even a door knob the carpet was dirty basically the stay would have been okay if we would have paid $35/40 but 70+ for trash is uncalled for!

So I can definitely say it's not the Hilton,but then again the Hilton is getting bad these days even as far as quality goes.regardless you can expect a random variation of clean to not clean rooms(does not look like site pictures),but overall for a one night stay it's not bad considering the hotels prices for the Gainesville area.safe travels y'all

Avoid, dirty rooms and common areas. I told the front desk person about my dirty room he said he will send a perdon with vacum but nobody came.

This hotel is the worst place I have been in my life. I opened the fridge and it didn't work and there were cockroaches inside. There were also cockroaches in the bathrooms. The smell is unpleasant. The mattresses are stained and full of dark and light green stains. The bathrooms have mold. The lamps are rusty. You can't walk on the carpet because of how disgusting it is. I paid for two days and only stayed one night. I made a reservation elsewhere and left. DO NOT BOOK ON THIS SITE IT IS DISGUSTING!!!!!
