I enjoyed it greatly. Seeing fútbol here was really a fun experience and I feel lucky to have experienced it. It’s clean, organized and they have a ton of snacks you can choose from. Not a lot of people here speak English so plan that aspect out. My broken Spanish got me a ticket and it worked out enough to see the match so you’ll be ok. They’re all very nice but there’s some rules as to where you should sit but it’s really not clear why. Wasn’t a huge deal but I found it a bit odd. I bought tickets from the box office across the street from Starbucks which is opposite where you enter the match. In the end it was a fun evening and I’d recommend it.

I attended the World Cup qualifier of USA v Costa Rica in the National Stadium this week. Overall it was an incredible experience. The energy in the stadium was amazing. The fans were fully engaged in the game. I felt completely safe in the stadium that had very few usmnt fans. Concessions were extremely limited. They had a few little booths set up inside the stadium. I only saw one place that was serving drinks and they were pouring them from two liter bottles into paper cups. You had to enter the stadium through the specific gate for your ticket. The gates weren’t well marked. After you entered the stadium you really only had access to the section of the stadium associated with that gate. It’s a multi sport stadium and not soccer specific. The first rows of the stands were 50 to 60 yards from the edge of the field. If your seat is in the upper deck it’s a long way from the action.

Seating options are great and you can see without issues from anywhere. Also walking through la Sabana to get to it is nice, but parking is very difficult, having to look for a place nearby instead of having a stadium specific parking. Also, audio and screens weren't working as expected and food options were very limited. This should definitely be improved.

We are proud of this stadium. It feels different than any ither stadium in Costa Rica. The issue with this stadium is parking. If you come by car, you will spend several time finding where to park. In case of massive events, you'll find several people offering informal parking even in the streets. I always hate that part. The other issue with this place is the food. I have been there a couple of times and always they ran out of food. It seems they are not prepared for too many people. Also lanes are 1 hour or more just to get some food. Needs to improve.

We went to see USA Cr. CR as gringos. It was an exciting experience. I recommend entering by the south entry. It is less crowded, but a longer walk from the street where the Uber drops you off.

The stadium itself look's great. Friendly staff. Toilet's were ok for this kind of place. You feel safe and we had a great view of the middle. For children I'll advise to pick the highest sit since the first ones are quite low.

This was my first time at the stadium, I was attending the RHCP concert, consider arrive early there are a few parking lots close the stadium, or you will have to walk the entire Sabana to get there. I considered there should be more bathrooms where I sit ( East shadow ) restrooms were on the first floor so you have to walk down the stairs to get there, and on my way out the stadium I was able to see just one trash bin, they need to install more.
