I
attended
the
World
Cup
qualifier
of
USA
v
Costa
Rica
in
the
National
Stadium
this
week.
Overall
it
was
an
incredible
experience.
The
energy
in
the
stadium
was
amazing.
The
fans
were
fully
engaged
in
the
game.
I
felt
completely
safe
in
the
stadium
that
had
very
few
usmnt
fans.
Concessions
were
extremely
limited.
They
had
a
few
little
booths
set
up
inside
the
stadium.
I
only
saw
one
place
that
was
serving
drinks
and
they
were
pouring
them
from
two
liter
bottles
into
paper
cups.
You
had
to
enter
the
stadium
through
the
specific
gate
for
your
ticket.
The
gates
weren’t
well
marked.
After
you
entered
the
stadium
you
really
only
had
access
to
the
section
of
the
stadium
associated
with
that
gate.
It’s
a
multi
sport
stadium
and
not
soccer
specific.
The
first
rows
of
the
stands
were
50
to
60
yards
from
the
edge
of
the
field.
If
your
seat
is
in
the
upper
deck
it’s
a
long
way
from
the
action.
