I
had
a
day
trip
to
Havana
booked
from
my
beach
hotel
in
Jibacoa
and
was
looking
for
somewhere
for
a
light
lunch
with
my
tour
guide
and
driver.
The
reviews
for
Dona
Alicia
were
some
of
the
best
reviews
I
have
seen
for
a
restaurant
so
I
was
really
looking
forward
to
checking
it
out.
What
I
had
wanted,
was
to
experience
some
local
cuisine,
however,
my
tour
guide
and
driver
both
fancied
pizza,
so
in
the
end
we
just
got
a
couple
of
large
pizzas!
They
were
very
good
and
very
large
and
it
was
a
struggle
for
the
three
of
us
to
finish
them.
This
was
probably
one
of
the
most
high-tech
restaurants
I’ve
been
in,
which
was
very
surprising
given
the
state
of
the
Cuban
economy.
The
iPads
on
the
table
are
used
to
order
food
and
drinks
and
as
long
as
you
are
not
completely
computer
illiterate,
they
are
not
hard
to
use
(though,
thankfully,
I
did
have
my
tour
guide
with
me,
so
she
could
translate
as
it
was
all
in
Spanish!).
In
the
main
part
of
the
restaurant
there
is
actually
a
robot
that
goes
around
serving
peoples
food!
As
we
were
in
the
smaller
part,
which
I
don’t
think
it
could
get
into,
we
had
to
make
do
with
the
more
traditional
way
of
being
served;
by
a
human
being!
The
service
was
very
good
&
efficient
and
the
meal
was
very
good
value,
around
US$20
for
two
large
pizzas,
two
beers
and
two
soft
drinks.
The
restaurant
is
very
popular
(surprisingly
my
guide
hadn’t
been
before,
though
said
she
definitely
would
be
recommending
it
in
the
future!)
was
quite
busy
and
we
did
have
to
wait
outside
for
a
table
to
become
available
which
took
about
15
minutes
though
once
inside
the
service
was
very
quick,
so
making
it
an
ideal
venue
for
a
quick
lunch
when
visiting
this
beautiful
city.
