👍 The atmosphere was relaxing. We sat outside even though it was hot there is shade. Loved the taste of all of our food. The service was great as well. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no diaper changing station, made it really hard to change my baby. People often mention service, great, lunch, good, breakfast, brunch, patio,

Great and cozy place. The food was tremendous, service with a smile and came out pretty quick. Food smelled so good I forgot to take a foodie pic before I took a bite! Can't wait to try breakfast/brunch.

Great brunch spot. Really enjoyed the food and the cocktails. Loved that there was some crossover between the Cafe and Vernon’s but not enough that you feel like they’re one and the same (even if they are). The chicken and waffles are delightful and the French toast is worthy of a repeat trip. Will definitely visit again!

We ate lunch here for my bestfriend's birthday. It was an excellent experience & we can't wait to go back for more. There were only 3 waitresses working but they pulled together and had every table served, refills on point & great customer care as though there were 10 of them. Absolutely great team work. Our waitress, Jessica, was super nice & very attentive. We enjoyed her friendliness & appreciate how knowledgeable she was about the restaurant.

Went for Saturday brunch and sat outside on their amazing patio. Absolutely delicious food and mimosas. I had the Shrimp Benedict and it's delicious. Not necessarily the "cajun" dish it was touted to be but I'd eat it again. 😊 Hubby had chicken and waffles; also perfect. Joseph was our waiter and our service was excellent. We will definitely be back!! Soon!

Enjoyed lunch on a beautiful day out on the patio at Cafe 6855. I had the New Mexico take on The Cuban Sandwich. I really liked the uniqueness of the red chile pork tenderloin that came on it. I’m a huge fan of Cuban Sandwiches and this was a good one. My wife enjoyed a nice crisp Cobb Salad. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu.

Nice place to grab a bite. It's a bit pricey. When we arrived there were plenty of tables available but the lady said it would be about a half an hour wait, so we waited about 15 minutes and were seated. Service was good We both enjoyed our meal.

Great Cozy place with awesome service and the food to boot. Been wanting to eat here for quite a while. It did not disappoint! An Old Fashion drink to start and Chicken and Waffles to complete. Will come again for sure. 😃 Kudos to the staff.

Came with my mom for breakfast on a whim one Sunday and had such delicious food, we will definitely be back! Our server told us the restaurant is part of Vernon's Speakeasy so now I want to return for that too. Highly recommend!

This place has been by far my favorite breakfast spot in the city. The food was absolute top tier quality and not anymore expensive than any other brunch spot. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas with red Chile and it was amazing. Our server was fantastic as well, super attentive, friendly and even gave us a tour of the Speakeasy. Music was also great, and the patio was nice and lively. Definitely going to coke here again

Great ambiance and service from Aaron was very good. It was our first time visiting here and we were looking for somewhere local, so we stubbled upon Cafe 6855. We were impressed with the ambiance and decor, live music, and very comfortable chairs. We ordered the BLT with Avocado and Ham, which was delicious, and the Smothered Burrito. The Burrito had excellent green/red chili flavors, however it was a little salty for my taste and. I discovered an inch long metal bristle stuck to one of the potatoes, which I though may have come from a metal brush, I brought it up to Aaron's attention, who was very concerned and took the issue to the kitchen immediately. It turns out it came from the sack the potatoes come in. Phew, that was a close one, I could have chocked on that thing. We found out while there, that Vernon's Speakeasy is in the same spot and that the cafe is modified to the Steak House in the evenings, which we intend to try. Maybe no potatoes next time! All in all we spent about $40 including tip which we thought was very reasonable considering the experience and service. I recommend this location to anyone wanting to depart from the normal restaurant experience.

I made a reservation for 12 people Sunday morning but we of course ended up with 15. The staff immediately switched gears and accommodated us (they really didn’t have to). Our server Aaron handled our group and he was the most polite, attentive overall pleasant young man. The food was great and we felt very taken care of. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

I visited for the first time for lunch with an out of town friend. I'd heard great things and was not disappointed. The cafe was quite busy and seemed short staffed, but the service did not reflect it. The shift manager, Audrey, stepped up to assist and sat us, waited on us and was incredibly attentive throughout our visit. She gave us the history and a tour of the nearby speak easy as the crowds died down. I loved the patio; it has the perfect ambiance with a water feature, plenty of shade to enjoy the cool fall weather, and live music! Our food and drinks were amazing. Everything was tasty and perfectly portioned. My only regret is not saving room for dessert. Prices are competitive with other places in the vicinity, yet the food and services were top notch. This place has quickly made the top of my list and I will be back. I am also looking forward to a special dinner at Vernon's in the near future.

The place we were going to have lunch on a Friday was crazy busy, so we found Cafe 6855 on Google Maps and gave it a try. Lucky break! They have a $15 lunch special: any sandwich and any beer (even the microbrews). French dip was terrific with crispy fries. Wife enjoyed her sandwich and salad. Sat out on their patio under an umbrella, so it wasn’t hot. Service was friendly and timely. This is the breakfast/lunch version of the nighttime Vernon’s Speakeasy. I’m not big on gimmicks, so we’ll be back for lunch.

Cute little place with patio seating. Service was a bit slow when we went on a Sunday morning. Food was good I had the chicken and waffles. Decent place.

Tucked away in the heart of the North Valley's 4th Street, Cafe 6855 is an addition to Vernon's Steakhouse offering tasty and enticing dishes for the breakfast and brunch crowd. Being that it shares the location with a nightlife speakeasy, the dark setting took a moment to adjust to but nonetheless does not deter or discourage anyone from its subtle charm. The menu offers options to satisfy any and every type visitor without a lengthy or overcomplicated menu, let alone the large portions and great prices. Tons of natural light mixed with friendly and attentive staff while a live local piano player plays makes this place a top option for future brunches. For those wondering why only 4 stars instead of 5? Well unfortunately a pair of overpoached eggs during the brunch rush will soon be made up for as I anticipate my next visit. Cheers!
