It's
been
close
to
a
week
since
my
last
visit
at
Ananta
Spa
and
I'm
still
reeling
at
the
humiliation
and
embarrassment
with
the
way
we
were
treated
at
the
center.
All
we
wanted
was
a
quiet
spa
time
with
a
full
body
massage,
and
we
were
in
for
a
rude
shock.
We
wanted
to
check
if
we
could
avail
benefits
of
gift
card
we
had
purchased
in
2021,
and
had
expired
during
the
deadly
second
wave
last
year.
But
what
followed
next
breached
all
norms
of
basic
etiquette
in
customer
interaction.
I
am
a
regular
at
the
spa,
and
by
the
look
of
it,
it
could
have
been
the
owner/
manager
who
spoke
to
us.
The
staff
has
always
treated
us
with
utmost
respect
and
courtesy.
But
this
person
lacked
basic
courtesy
and
treated
us
like
freeloaders.
He
ridiculed
us
for
not
availing
the
service
during
the
peak
pandemic,
and
even
refused
to
offer
us
an
option
of
even
a
discount.
(Until
we
mentioned
it
to
him)
It
was
not
the
fact
that
our
gift
card
was
not
honored,
but
it
was
the
manner
in
which
he
had
treated
us
that
evening.
We
were
customers
who
had
walked
to
avail
a
relaxed
spa
service
on
a
Saturday
evening
and
we
walked
out
in
real
bad
taste.
To
the
person
who
ill
treated
us
-
please
learn
respect
your
customer.
Or
even
better,
take
a
class
from
your
team.
They
understand
it
better.
It
took
me
a
week
to
even
bring
myself
to
write
this
review
because
the
experience
was
extremely
rude
and
shocking.

You
failed
us.
P.s:
Please
avoid
a
templated
reply
if
you
have
nothing
better
to
say.
And
yes,
learn
some
manners
too!

I
have
mentioned
it
was
not
the
fact
that
the
gift
card
was
not
honored.It
was
the
sheer
disrespect
and
lack
of
courtesy
meted
out
to
us.
Besides,
if
you
valued
us
as
customers,
you
would
have
offered
us
the
option
of
a
discount
even
before
we
asked
you
for
it.
We
are
talking
about
customer
service
and
you
are
harping
on
Terms
and
Conditions!
Even
a
chat
bot
would
have
understood
this
by
now.
Goodluck
for
your
non-customer
centric
business!
And
you
are
in
the
hospitality
industry.
Such
a
shame!
