One of the best parks, I regularly come here for a morning walk. It is well maintained and lots of unique flora can be found here. Nature's sound can be heard throughout the walking track. Head here if you need some peace and spend time for yourself and for your health/fitness

The Kotturpuram Tree Park is a jewel, a tribute to the persistence and dedication shown by a group of tree lovers, and supported by citizens in and around Kotturpuram. The park has many rare species of native trees, and several young trees were meticulously looked after in the wake of Cyclone . We even wrote about the tree park . I have volunteered at the park several times, and marvelled at what a tranquil learning and relaxation space it was beginning to be for the entire community – young children, students, middle aged walkers and senior citizens.

This place is very calm and beautiful. Full of trees and there is lot of space of walking. Many chairs are there for sitting. This was a dump yard converted to tree park with many native trees(600) varieties. Elderly, kids enjoy this place very much. If going in evening we can be there early at 4:30pm for enjoying in natural light as it is slightly darker inside. The lights will be turned on at 6pm.

This is a tree park in Chennai with 600+ varieties of native trees. This was a dump yard and was converted into a park with peoples participation. Birds chirping, squirrels are visitors here. One good things is at many places thwater drums kept.People can volunteer to water saplings. I really enjoyed being here close to nature and watering some plants.

Kottur tree park is really good. Idle for morning walk and jogging. I took my 15 months old baby and she had really good time. But I wish the place was well more maintained. There were unwanted shrubs n grass all around. We adopted a plant today

Park is beautiful and peaceful with many varieties of trees. Will be more beautiful in a few years when all trees are fully grown. Only downside is the timing. They asked everyone to leave and closed at 6:30 pm, while the closing time is written as 7 PM.

I have visited the Kotturpuram Tree Park. It is a wonderful place full of trees and greenery. Although it is in the midst of a busy city, this park is serene, clean and you can hear the chirping of birds. Thanks to Nizhal NGO and volunteers for creating such a beautiful place. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

This is a beautiful place. Lot of trees, nice paths to walk, very serene. And lots of benches to sit and breath fresh air. The river flows to the sea gently by the the side of the park.

A very Big Park with lot of Trees and resting Sofas. Good pathway to jog for your health. There are a lot of herbs here like Adathoda, etc which are good for Lungs. The pathways are aside Canal that is coming all along from Triplicane, Mylapore area and joins sea near Kottur the last place where you can see Boats and Catamaran. However due to poor maintenance the place is stinking and the Govt is planning to clean. Nice place to visit during weekends.

Nice place to be, if you're a nature lover. This place is covered by all sort of trees and well maintained. People staying nearby use it for their morning walks, exercises etc. No play area for kids but they can learn about different species of trees etc.
