Exceptionally well-kept with hygienic rooms, a pristine lobby, and overall cleanliness. The property is family-friendly and offers an amazing dining experience. The check-in and checkout processes are swift. I appreciate the positive atmosphere and the energetic staff. When compared to hotels worldwide, it certainly tops my list. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for fostering a fun, loving, and safe environment. Undoubtedly, one of the best places to stay in India.

Overall very pleased with the offerings of Novotel at Chambers Road. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay, with numerous options, and downright the best vada sambhar I have had in the longest time. Room was comfortable, but there's not much on offer in terms of amenities. Given that it's a business trip, I wasn't going to use it, however my family was there with me, which would have made things easier for them. Highly recommended.

As per my way of reviewing, dividing the review into four parts.: 1. ROOMS : Though the lobby isn't the too lavish ones, the rooms are outstanding. Decently big size & the washroom too is brilliant & big. Excellent rooms! 2. LOCATION : Umm, well not probably the best of locations. It's right in front of a running road but then almost entire Chennai is like this. So can't really say too much. But yeah, there are better locations to stay. 3. SERVICE : A little between average & good. They're not too prompt in picking calls at the reception and also when you ask for something, it gets delivered to room a little late. Maybe you've to call Twice at least before it gets to you. 4. FOOD : One thing where Novotel Hotels CERTAINLY NEVER disappoint is the food And similar was the case here. Had dinner buffet included in my stay along with breakfast and I have to say OUTSTANDING spread across two days. Fantastic food, great taste & a really really cool and wide spread. As I said, I've been in many Novotel hotels across India, one thing that is guaranteed is AWESOME FOOD! 10/10 here always!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The room service was slow. At times I had to send a reminder about my request. At others no one picked the call. The in room dining was bad. I’d made specific requests for my pasta and was disappointed - twice. The buffet was middling. The brass taste leached into the coffee, the fruits weren’t fresh, and the food and spread were passable. I honestly expected much more from Novotel. The front desk was slow but polite. The entry staff were great.

The location was perfect for me. The room was well appointed and comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and hygienic. The bathroom had all the conveniences and there was hot and cold water at all times. The staff were very polite and helpful with one exception. The buffet breakfast served is great

I had a great time eating delicious food . Great service done by Miss. Amritha and were very friendly.The atmosphere was awesome and i definitely liked that you have a modern style. Presentation was more creative, i wish to visit again. Most importantly, every food in the menu tasted great.

Despite the setback in room service, the overall stay was enjoyable, with the culinary offerings and restaurant staff contributing significantly to the positive aspects of the visit. Addressing the delay in room service would undoubtedly elevate the overall guest satisfaction at Novotel.

Visited with family friends and had a great lunch time. Buffet menu had good varieties serving Indian, Chinese, Arabic and continental cuisines. Food quality was awesome. Live counters for Pizza, Chats, Fish, chicken, Mocktails etc available.Desserts were tasty but difficult to try all at one go. Service was good. Very nice, clean ambient with live music. Hotel provides free valet parking. Location is very easily accessible.

Breakfast and dining is top class and we were able to enjoy wide variety of food cultures. The restaurant staff must be applauded for their great hospitality and striving hard to provide best food experience. The managers at restaurant are always available. The hotel is located at prime locality. So there is not enough space to go out and take outdoor walks. Swimming pool is small and not enough when crowd gets into it. Otherwise rest is good.

The hotel location is excellent. The breakfast is good. They do not respond much to phone calls, but through emails they were prompt in replying. Rooms very comfortable with large bathrooms. The front desk can be little more courteous but post pandemic they are picking up. Breakfast - South Indian dishes were good Lots of variety. Tanveer in front desk help provide me with late check-out which was very helpful.

Had an excellent stay. They take customer care very seriously. Very pleasant and helpfull staff. Rooms were spacious clean and looked amazing , special mention to the lovely spacious washroom. We had both bf and lunch buffet and food was amazing. The selection is probably a bit limited but everything tasted so well. As a welcome gift they had sent my daughter muffin decorating / icing set. My daughter was beyond thrilled. My husband stayed at the hotel on a transit for a day and he was facilitated with early check in and while having his welcome drink at the restaurant around 11 morning he was even insisted to have some food and was provided Ghee Roast foc ( he has not even got officially check in yet at the moment). I recently had my first experience staying at the Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road, and I must admit that I left far from satisfied. My two-night stay, which cost me a hefty sum of Rupees 16673.12, turned out to be a regrettable choice that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The first major issue that marred my experience at the Novotel was a shocking encounter in their restaurant. While enjoying my meal, I was horrified to find a cockroach near the doughnut station. The sight of such a creature in a dining area is not only unsightly but also deeply unsanitary. I promptly alerted a waiter to this alarming discovery, expecting a swift and appropriate response. Unfortunately, the waiter's indifference was as appalling as the cockroach itself. He didn't take any immediate action to address the issue or assure me of the restaurant's cleanliness. Frustrated by the lack of response from the waiter, I requested to speak with the manager, hoping for a more professional and responsible resolution. To my disbelief, the manager, too, displayed a complete lack of concern. He was casually busy preparing tea, seemingly uninterested in addressing a customer's legitimate complaint. This laidback attitude was truly disappointing and reflected poorly on the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. What bothers me the most about this experience is the absence of any compensation or effort to rectify the situation. Paying a substantial amount for a two-night stay, I had hoped for a level of service that would justify the expense. However, I received nothing but frustration and disappointment. Novotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations of cleanliness and customer service. In conclusion, my stay at Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road was a colossal letdown. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend any Novotel branch or hotel based on this experience. The presence of a cockroach in a restaurant, coupled with the apathetic attitude of the staff and the lack of any meaningful response, made my stay an unfortunate waste of both time and money. Novotel has a long way to go in terms of improving its service quality and guest satisfaction.

Nice hotel with great rooms and good foods. Their breakfast buffet is awesome. Well, dinner buffet is equally good too. It's very near to Nandanam metro station. Pool is in the terrace and the size is moderate, not a big one. I liked their washroom a lot. Overall appearance of the hotel is little old and boring.

We had booked 6 rooms at Novotel and had a great stay. The staff and their services were excellent. The food was amazing! The rooftop bar at Novotel is a must to visit wherever you stay in Chennai! Overall we are fully satisfied and would definitely stay with novotel again.

The breakfast was awful. At the reception, we were told the breakfast starts at 6.30am. We went there around 6.45am and most of the breakfast items were empty( not filled) and the food was cold and I am assuming it could be a leftover from the previous day. We had to wait until 7.15am for a filter coffee and it was just awful. This was my first meal in India and it was just so disappointing. Secondly, the room had very low light and I personally think an option for dressing table or a mirror in the room would be a nice idea. No value for money. A 3 star or a serviced apartment would be a lot better compared to this. Please don’t fall for the reviews or the ratings.

Whilst we had a few teething issues in the beginning (our check really in wasn’t a 5* service), they were speedily resolved. Once we had settled in, the rest of the trip was absolutely fantastic. What a lovely experience at this hotel! Our morning breakfast was always welcomed by smiling faces. A huge thank you to wongchui, amit, nwrshing and naikho. Thank you so much for making our stay incredibly comfortable and welcoming.

The Hotel is situated in a prime location and has a various types of banquet halls for parties and corporate events. The rooms are quite spacious, the food was great and the staff were courteous. Honestly the experience was a mixed bag. Pros: - Located very close to the heart of the city - Clean and comfortable room Cons: For a 5 star hotel, the service was bordering on unacceptable. The staff did the bare minimum and did not go above and beyond. - In spite of telling the front desk concierge that we will be checking out a little bit later and being given the green light, we were abruptly disturbed a good 1 hour before the check-out time. This was the concierge in the morning who was different from the person we had talked to the previous night. Clearly there was some miscommunication between the two. - I asked for a lightning cable and was told a flat no. This is quite strange for reasonable hotel much less a 5 star hotel in this day and age. - I asked a hotel staff who was by the front door for a pen. He started to walk to grab me a pen and then abruptly turned around mid way and told me that he can't get me a pen. I've had much better service from 3 star hotels. The only saving grace is the location and the cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms.

The staff, food and location made up for this lacklustre property. I have stayed at other Novotels around the world and this one really needs some work. Pros: location, the food and the staff. To mention Shoubik, Jatin, Dilwar, Venkatesh, Lucky, Suraj and few more at the food exchange who's names I unfortunately can't remember. They were all exceptional and helpful. Cons: The lobby is ok, once you go up its dull and dark. Corridor lights don't work on certain floors, the corridor carpets are old and definitely needs to be changed. When they vacuum the corridor carpets there is a damp/weird smell that's not ideal. Triggered a friend's asthma. The rooms are dark, lights need to be changed to brighter ones. Size is decent. The towels are old and stained. Even new ones that get replaced look old with a brownish tinge to it. Definitely needs to be changed. Bits and pieces are falling apart. The bathroom sliding door has bits chipping off it at the bottom, the wash basin is stained and old. Overall it felt like an old apartment bathroom as opposed to a hotel room that you're paying for. Unfortunately these reviews will get an automatic response or someone will tell off the ground staff that work so hard. Someone more senior needs to be going into these rooms and doing a quality check and it shouldn't be the responsibility of the staff working hard on a daily basis. Another example: at the breakfast buffet There is a white shelf like thing where the fresh juice bottles are kept. All corners have rust and stain. Looking at it you don't even feel like taking a bottle of juice from it. If I come back, it is purely due to location. The property was disappointing and left me wanting for more and likely looking at other options.

There were no soaps, no brush or paste or sufficient tissues and water bottles in room when they handed over the room to us. Even simple lodges provide with toothpaste and use and throw brush to refresh. The hotels floor were not clean with tissues lying here and there. TV was broken, had to bring someone in to check it and fix it. Bathroom kit was missing, oven was missing, morning coffee kits were not refilled. To make it simple. The hotel was not worth as expected. The terrace place(closed enclosure) allowed people to smoke. Which is a huge turn off. Overall this hotel and a local lodge which charges 1000 per night is the same . Except the local lodge provides better service even when charged extra.

Good ambience. Had a pleasant stay for a day's meeting. Food was nice, may be not much variety of food. Some emphasis on hygiene in the toilet has to be there, actually not cleaned and was stinking.

We stayed in Novotel Chamiers road twice in last few weeks. The hotel staff has treated us very well. The rooms are good and there is ample sunlight that comes in when curtains are open which is the best thing about the room. We have booked the room including breakfast and lunch/dinner buffet. Food is very good with variety of options. The cakes in lunch buffet are the best ever. Only thing I felt could have been there is a mirror in the room. There are big mirrors in bath rooms but not outside the bathroom.

Good atmosphere, it's a duplex building with roof top kitchen, nice staff, feel like home. Great story, Happy with all the services. Front desk team is excellent with all the request, must try hotel.. Hi, The best hotel with modern rooms and a huge washroom. Breakfast was excellent apart from a little bit oily hakka noodles. The room service was fast and the reception team was so helpful and made our check-in & check-out too fast, so that we need not wait for a long time. Overall, its a superb hotel with friendly staff and modern rooms. Cons: The floor which we stayed was a little bit smelly due to the carpet i guess!

One of the Beautiful hotels inside the city. Easy to access location, enough parking space, multiple banquet halls available. Food was too good. I would say I had the best starters in this hotel. It was all perfectly cooked. I had Malabar fish curry which was simply superb. Perfectly cooked and no fish smell at all. It was like authentic south Indian home cooked fish curry.

Amazing experience from the time we arrived until the check out. The front office staff was courteous and friendly and even made small talk with our daughter to ask about her favorite cartoon and such. Rooms are well appointed and everything is in prime condition. The mattress was very comfy and we had a good night's sleep. But before that, since it was raining in the evening, we decided to stay at the hotel and have food at the Asian grill on the roof top and that was another lovely experience as not only is the food tasty, but the service and the decor are both top quality. For our trip, we had a great time and we look to choose the Novotel again in our future trips to the city :)

Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.

The duty manager was really helpful and was one call away for any help required. I have been to other five star hotels as well but this one was the best I have experienced and would recommend. The prices and the service is way better. No restrictions anywhere and the staff is welcoming. Thanks for the beautiful experience.

The staff here is really good. Duty manager Sukant was very kind and ensured our stay at the hotel was good. Rooms are super clean and the food is exceptional. Overall had a wonderful experience here. Highly recommend
