The park is neatly maintained and has a big walking area. Before it was closed because of Metro but they have renovated now. Park timings - 5 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 9 pm.

A friend had suggested thiru vi ka park for a stroll. A really good, well maintained park. The park has amenities like skating rink, basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, meditation space, reading space, an open air theater etc. The park has been constructed upon really good planning, it is even connected to shenoy nagar metro. It is even accessible for the physically challenged. A lot of beautiful flora too.

It was really an exciting experience to go around the park after 12 years. Kids will love this place. There are more areas for spending an relaxing evening with your loved ones. Wish it was pet friendly and the cleanliness be maintained.

Cutting down a large park for metro station is crime against nature. how arrogant we are. Chennai is facing scarcity of water every year, but we cut more trees. When are we going to learn?

A great park to hang around. They have a lot of facilities including abundant place to sit. They have a good kids play area and apart from that, they have multiple courts for adults as well.

This is no longer a park. The Govt. had converted the Park into Shenoy Nagar Metro Station. All the trees were cut down to build the Metro Station. This place has a huge parking space and the public (Even if you don’t use metro) can use the parking facility! Even the the Metro Transport facility has made our lives easy. They should have avoided cutting down 100s of Trees from that location.

A WALK IN THE PARK - Thiru vi ka park - An excellent hangout spot for the evening be it walking, sports, kids entertainment, amphitheatre events, Skating , Yoga or mediation you have it all here at Shenoy nagar !! Recently renovated and dedicated to the Singara Chennai program this one does not disappoint. Very adjacent to Shenoy nagar Metro station. A must visit if you have time.

Thiru vi ka park was recently opened. Good Ambience with fresh air. It was neatly maintained by CMRL. Must visit place in Chennai for their environment and maintenance. They have one small gallery inside the park They will play musical fountain at 6.30pm -8pm. It's very relaxing for mind. The kids play area has slide, climbing , drums, swing etc. It's easy accessibility from Shenoy metro station. They have umbrella selfie 🤳 point. We can take more photos here because of their ambience and lightings. Outside the park has variety of snack shop running by small vendors. Snacks and plastic bottles are not allowed inside the park. Park Open Timings: 5am-9am & 5pm -9pm Entry Free 🆓 Security guard are not allowing to walk on the grass, its good for maintenance but we can't expect the kids to follow that strictly. They can avoid grassing near the play area. It will be crowded during weekends.

Great facilities and Great job Good initiative done by Government and CMRL. The huge park in the Chennai City recently opened. Again while our visit we can see people are come to eat and throw the cover wraps, use and throw cups on pathways it shows their irresponsibility. People like them should change their attitude first. Even few members are walking in the well maintained grass even a huge pathways available for walkin or exit. Guess what all the above actions made by lookalike the decent and educated one, and common people are not doing such activities. Management cannot control such things all the time. Change and discipline should start from internally. We need to follow, keep our area neat and clean like our home and surroundings...

The park is well maintained and very clean. Newly renovated and opened. If it's maintained well, then this will be a fav hangout spot for many ppl. You can see many families come here on weekends. A lot of dedicated places around, starts from skating , badminton, reading place, meditation zone, kids play area, 8 way path for walkers. Food is strictly not allowed inside the park. Many shops are around the park. Two wheeler parking is easy, 4 wheelers can utilise the Shenoy nagar metro parking.

The park is awesome and equipped with modern amenities and well maintained don't take any food item. It's not allowed its not a picnic spot it's a park to refresh. Public. Should put efforts on keeping the park clean. By not stepping on the lawn. Or by not vandalizing the equipments in the park. The facility looks top notch and best time to visit would be night as the park is illuminated with colourfull lights. It's a treat to our eyes. We'll sanitized toilets, including a toilets for physically challenged. Kids friendly environment. I am not sure if pets are allowed to my knowledge I never seen one inside. To access the park you have to reach the shenoy nagar metro station.

It was one of the largest and major park in the busy fast growing city like Chennai. From 2017 it was under the control of CMRL to construct a shenoy Nagar underground metro station which was later inagratrated on 14 may 2018. Now maintenance and monitoring is under CMRL.It would be better if CMRL take instiative to restore the greenery of thiru.vi.ka park .

Great park taken over by metro station. They have to restore the upper surface as park and hand over to corporation as per agreement. But will they do?

Easily one of the best parks in Chennai. Thiru Vi Ka park was a famous park even before metro train construction. Now after being renovated and completely revamped, the park looks contemporary and modern. The landscaping is beautifully done with different plant varieties complemented by brilliant lighting throughout the park. There are so many facilities inside like a meditation center, kids play area, beach volley ball area, drinking water vending machines, etc., You can access the park from two entrances, one from PH road via Shenoy Nagar, another from Anna Nagar. There is ample car parking space outside as well as inside the metro station. There is no entrance fee for the park, parking charges inside metro station is 30 rupees for 0-6 hours. There are no shops inside the park but outside near the anna nagar entrance, there are numerous shops starting from street vendors to some famous non veg restaurants all in a walkable distance. Park is neatly maintained with nothing much to complain. Definitely recommend visiting with your friends or family.

One of the best parks maintained by the govt. It was basically located just above Shenoy nagar metro railway station. The park was well maintained. light and music fountain shows in the evening. Kids love this place, adults too. Lots of practices will go on this park for kids and adults. A great park. There's no entry fee here. A well maintained park with a lot of fun activities like kids play area, outdoor gym, meditation area, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, cricket, kids shaking area,etc. The park is so clean and there are a lot of plants and trees here.

Shenoy Nagar metro is situated where Thiru Vi Ka Park stood some years ago. It was a very huge area which is now almost entirely occupied by metro station. Work is going on to restore some garden here.

Excellent Park built by the Government, even some paid park doesn't have the facilities that this park have. Excellent work by the Tamil Nadu Government. Never seen a park like this.

Very beautiful park. It's one of the best park in this locality. Nice ambience. There is lot of outdoor activities as well here. Separate area for reading. But now street side foods are started occupying outside the lanes which is very disappointing.

One of the latest semi green open spaces created for the public, it is one of the must visit in Chennai. Unlike semmozhi and sengandhal poonga, this is not just garden, but has plenty of play area for adults and kids alike. The space on top of the Shenoy nagar metro station has been utilised to the max, it is a well planned and maintained park. Evenings are buzzing with musical fountain and people playing games. Cylindrical towers with lights add to the pleasant ambience this park has to offer.

I always go to the skating park but now that it is waterlogged and filled with fallen trees for now that I have taken to Thiru-vi-ka park. And I am not disappointed. It's several notches superior than the skating park. Very scenic. Shenoy Nagar's beauty shows up very well. I highly recommend this park.

It's a beautiful and very happening park. It has a reading area, a basketball court, a beach volleyball court, a park, and an open theatre, among many other things. The badminton court is a bit uncomfortable to play in since Chennai has winds, and playing badminton in an open place rather than indoors isn't great. The evening atmosphere is quite cheerful. Even outside, many stalls come up each evening for your snack cravings. One thing I noticed, though, was that the maintenance has gotten poor. The lawns and plants used to be trimmed and kept properly. But now it's over growing and becoming a bit shabby.

The park is located in Shenoy Nagar.The circular Thiru Vi Ka Park right at the center of Shenoy Nagar, Chennai, is a major landmark of that area. After twelve years, it seems this park has finally been reopened for the public in a grand style. So we went there recently to check it out. 😄💞

Recently renovated park with all amenities like skating, cricket, shuttle court, voley ball court and play area for kids. Spaces for malls are yet to come. People coming here should co-operate to maintain the park. Some people step on the grass areas and kids are uncontrollable. Musical fountain is there. Kids need to be taken care vigilantly. Shenoy nagar metro is on the door step of the park. Lot of eateries around the park. Helium gas balloon vendor is doing good business especially over the weekends.

I loved there. There is so many different places there for dancing,yoga, cricket, badminton, gym,study area, park for Children a very good spot to spend time with your family.

Park is totally renovated/built to a new modern look. It was really nice with all the amenities. Too much crowd over the weekends.

Nicely maintained ...with multi sports arena ...skatting, basket ball and cricket practice ...a little too crowd to have a peaceful stroll or a walk around ...

Though Park renovation work have been going on there is a doubt it would be completed in near future.Hope work is done at a much faster rate and Park is back to track as soon as possible
