Rooms are ok..3 Star.. Location is very sub normal.. No service is required nor requested.. People who lived in a hotel kind of environment cannot tolerate this.. The area is soo soo sub standard.. Small time business... Area is the main drawback and nit the kind of stay i ever dreamed of..

Great rooms for a homestay experience. Rooms are very well maintained. The owners, manager and cleaner are all very helpful and cooperative. Rooms are furnished with all adequate amenities. Overall, it's a pretty good place to have a calm and peaceful stay. Location might be a bit towards the inside but if you have a personal vehicle then it shouldn't be much of a problem as the main road is 5 minutes away. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Overrated stay. Most of them are paid reviews. I don't know how they are getting foreign customers to stay. They ask customers to give five star review. The owner will not reveal the term and condition until the cancellation period ends. Fully money minded. Pets not allowed but they keeping pets near the rooms. 😂 It's a very remote location, so you cannot get a cab during rainy or night time. The owner provides an old Scotty for rent 400 per day. Petrol cost is extra. He gave taxi contact but still it's too costly(just for 4km charges would be 350) Stray dogs everywhere near the property. You need to literally run in case you need to go for a walk. This is not mentioned in the TC. Average food. It's a bad business strategy to offer free food to attract customers. The food served in room. For the same rate, other homestay giving a dining room. Are you expect the guest to eat on the floor or in bed? It's just worth 500 per night. Hard water is not suitable for a shower. They said it's RO water, but in real it's water can. We will certainly get 100% throat infection. If you say this is common in Chennai, what is the care you provides to cutomer? For this same amount and evenmore for less amount , there are other home stay giving better water and other amenities. For hand wash and shower gel , You kept Pril liquid 😁. It's very awkward. Blanket filled with sweat smell. Strictly don't visit during rainy times. You won't get cab. You will feel like trapped in the stay during rain. When you walk on the road, You can feel the sewage water smell everywhere. Very less shops or decent restaurants around 1km. We can use swiggy or others but you need lot of patient to get it deliver. Because , it's not easy for delivery partner to identity the place. You are prone to charge extra for food delivery and cab.

It was a comfortable and homely experience staying at Friendlystay with full privacy. I stayed at their three properties by now and every place is comfortable, friendly and totally hassle-free. If you are going with your family they have accomodation for that or if you are going with your partner you won't feel any hassle with them. Sam and Lata are great hosts and Arun their caretaker was available for us whenever we needed any help.

Very cozy rooms. Sam is very friendly and helpful. Got the room for 8 days. The kitchenette area is well equipped with every utensils, refrigerator. We used the scooty also. Overall the stay was very comfortable.

I and my Bf had visited this property in the month of Feb 2022 for my Birthday. As we are into long distance relationship we meet once in 3-6 months and make sure we have a good time with each other. We have stayed in different places but this was the best. Definitely a couple friendly stay. We had our own privacy. No disturbance at all. Our room was beside where Sam(property owner) stayed, he was so friendly, humble and this gentleman always greeted us with a smile. Rooms and restroom were neat. 24 hr water facility. The view in the terrace and the gardening ambience were beautiful. Especially loved the 2 pets. Naughty and active. Highly recommend this place. It is safe. Definitely gonna visit this property whenever I come to Chennai. Thanks Sam(his family) & the crew.

Best service apartment ever!! The rooms are so good, safe and hygienic. We have visited a lot of hotels and service apartments but "Friendly Stay" is one the best property in our list. Sam was one of the best there. He is very nice human being, his response and immediate required arrangements for the guests was good, keep going Sam. Moreover they're very good family. Overall I can say that I stayed with peace, my wife and kids really enjoyed their garden at the rooftop. Their staff was also good, cooperative and hard worker. Really it was my pleasant stay, secured appartment. If I find an other opportunity, definitely I will stay there. The best part is you feel home and the ambiance is best. Highly recommend you to consider this place to stay and have a quality time with your friends or family. It's literally worth your money!

Contrary to 90% of the reviews, my experience was not that great. Owner no doubt is very helpful but during my stay it was raining in chennai. This area is completely bad for the rainy season. Water logging issue is there and trust me, it's dirty sewage water. You wouldn't want to experience what I did. So avoid booking during rainy season. Other than that, they have pets and hence the place becomes lil smelly. And poor ventilation. You will feel suffocated without the AC.

Sam - is right on the Ball - prompt, quick response, accurate description - proximity to our workplace was an important factor for us. Is definitely Off the main road - so a bike at least or alternate transportation is a must, home made meals, WiFi, Cabbie options are all available at an extra charge. Which makes it easier. Has other room options too. Would recommend a location check only else is VFM.

Been there for 5 days, booked through Airbnb. Room are good as compared to price but getting a transport (Taxi, Bike, auto) is bit difficult. Owner is helpful

The hosts are amazing. We were two girls traveling and we felt super safe. The house is more towards residential side, but closed to shopping center and airport. Latha is extremely sweet and humble and she makes you feel comfortable right away. They also have two super friendly dogs and a garden on the terrace. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to close friends and family. Thank you for having us!

My 1st trip to India! What a FANTASTIC stay, always welcoming and hospitable. Sam and Latha are very well knowledged on local attractions and I enjoyed delightful breakfasts daily. I wish my 2 kids were as well behaved and polite as theirs). Lovely location and a perfect base to have for business and sight seeing, and amenaties were fantastic.

The place is very tidy, cozy and spacious equipped with all the basic amenities. The locality is very calm. Sam is a great host. He was very accommodating and available at all times. We had a great stay!

Had a very smooth experience overall. It was a solo trip to Chennai and thanks to FriendlyStay for making it easier, pocket friendly and safe. Giving it a 5 star because even though the check out time was 11am, I was given the living room + kitchen + dining area to spend 7 hours before leaving for the airport without any extra charges and also the luggage was taken care of by the owner at his residence. PS - it's really safe for a female travelling alone. Would consider this place for future trips to Chennai for sure.

Our stay at Friendly Stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Initially was worried to travel with my one year old during pandemic, but Sam and his family had been very courteous to us and made sure our entire stay was safe and hygienic. Sam had made our travel seamless by picking us at airport and dropped back too completing the entire travel journey hassle free for us. Homestyle food was overwhelming. Well air conditioned clean rooms with kitchen, utensils, TV, needed privacy, open air terrace, their 2 dogs gave us a truly comfortable stay experience . I was initially skeptical about interior location but Sam was always reachable and had plotted the address in google maps, so we could easily use online ordering for food. Sam and family hosted us very well and ensured our stay was comfortable by constant check ins and offers for savory food. Thanks to Sam’s wife for the wonderful kadalai curry, chicken gravy, hot tea and all yummy food that we shared during our stay. My husband and I, we thank Sam/Family for being so supportive during our stay at Chennai, just like family!

Very excellent stay provided here with hygienic toilet and home amibence room. You can feels as like your home. Nice, safe and best place for individual as well as family. Was bit inside from the main road but don't mind if you have personal vehicle otherwise it will be little difficult to reach but you can contact owner he will help at the time of your check in. you can have parking as well in some properties of them. Overall everything is good.

Great host. Friendly is the name of his small enterpeise and he is friendly as can be. Clean and and with most features of your own house including a small kitchen. There even was an extra single bed. Not your typical hotel aurroundings sine it is located in a typical Chennai traditional residential area, but I enjoyed it. But inside from the main road is the only slight downside in terms of locating it.

Mr Shyam the owner of this property was very helpful and enjoyed the stay. They provided me a very good hygeniec breakfast, branded toileteries and very a calm atmosphere. Mr Arul caretaker host is very supportive.I express my sincere thanks to Mr Shyam.
