Disappointing experience at K11 Hotel in Chennai. As a family from Malaysia, we encountered issues with price hikes for foreigners and unfair charges. We requested hours basis calculation due to a late flight, but were charged for a full day. Not suitable for families, as we observed questionable activities in the rooms. Tea requests were met with coffee. Workers were helpful, but management needs improvement. #UnsatisfactoryExperience

CANCELLATION (CHEATING) POLICY I'm editing my review with the latest updates. After my -ve review for not refunding the deposit against cancellation. The hotel staff called me last week and asked to remove my post and give 5star rating to refund my money. He refused to pay me until i removed the post. My experience is true, I'm not worried if he doesn't refund (which he hasn't till date) for cancellation done on 7th Aug. But anyone booking rooms in advance, pls be sure to understand and take in writing the cancellation policy to avoid being cheated later. Pathetic greedy hotelier

Late update. When I went to their hotel in July, they did not have my booked family suite available for me. They simply said sorry yesterday’s guest asked for extension so we gave it to them and they literally had the nerve to say “we expect you to understand and take 2 regular rooms” They wouldn’t cancel or refund and after 2.5 hours of talking to their boss and agoda they agreed to give the money back and the hotel does not look as good as in the pictures. Sanitation is out of the window with this hotel. Also the receptionist is beyond rude. Please beware !!!

A good place to stay if you are shopping in Tnagar. Many shops are in walking distance. And the staff are friendly. You can request on assistance such as airport transport and meals and they provide for a reasonable price

Extremely beautiful place that would support your planned trips well. Economical rooms with a variety of options available. Very efficient and timely room service provided at any time we require. Has all the amenities that one would need during their time of stay. Located in an important location, easily accessible to most of the important areas of chennai. And more importantly, very good management.

Way overpriced for the small rooms. You will hardly get basic facilities after many requests. Also, the man in reception is seriously misprofessional and rude... I think he has some mental issue or he is not okay with his salary... Whatever the case, he is a total misfit for hospitality business. I Stayed for 16 Days on a single stretch. Pros It was a better price. Manager is doing his duty right. Hospitality staffs are doing great. Very well maintained. Cons 1. Only 500ml of water is provided per check in. And charging me for additional of Rs. 50 for providing 1 litre of water though I spent around 18k was not sounding as good customer relationship. 2. Hectic situation raises for car parking. Despite being regular or breakless customer you should fight everyday to find car parking 3. Cockroaches - it was having its funny time throughout 16 days of my stay. even after regular complaints they failed to clean the room properly. 4. Toiletries was not provided to me for entire 16 days. 5. Restrooms aren't spacious enough. Most of the rooms with rusted water heaters. 6. Power shutdown issue. There was a power cut for 12 hours 1AM to 1PM. Generator failed to support because of some technical issue. Suggestion: Customer relationship is very much important. Money alone doesn't decide your future.

This hotel is running a scam with Oyo where they have put up a fake advertisement and when the customers come to the hotel they do not allow folks to stay saying they have never put any advertisement there. Please be aware. Hotel is subpar at max but is near the US embassy and the T Nagar market.

I can easily say this us best hotel I stayed. Smooth check in and also I asked them late check out and they agreed. Host was very humble and gave us good room.

AC was not functioning. No body attended to it after lots of request. Wi-Fi is also not working. Toilet and bath room was unclean. It was extremely bad Room. No service provided. Front office person is very rude and non-co operative. No response from their end on frequently request. Can't recommend. Total Waste of money. Rooms are well maintained with clean and in particular Mr. Altaf is background reasons of ensuring that all the guests should receive the highest quality standards. He is very humble, knowledgeable, quick in taking action for guest needs in the hotel. He is a well deserved staff to be recognized by hotel management and sure he will be an asset to the hotel. His dedicated support will make me to refer this hotel to my friends and relatives. I will sure come back with my family to hotel in future. Please keep up the great job.

Clean rooms and enough amenities reasonable for the pay, located near by the bus station and good veg&non veg restaurants is an added advantage, people are courteous. Little problem is for the travellers in car as the parking is small and in and out will test your driving skills nonetheless it's not a deal breaker considering many hotels in the city don't have even this amount of parking space. I would recomend for both family and business stay. K11 hotel

1. K11 The rooms were neat, well organized, good bathroom and shower, spacious, had free tea, mineral water and hot water kettle and more. 2. It was quiet in the night. They need to replace the blinds in the window to a curtain as we checked in during the wee hours and had to sleep late - the light coming in disturbed our sleep. Good courteous staff. Overall a very good k11 hotel.

This place is very safe, clean and neat! Their service to the guest is exceptional. They help to take calls or booking cabs and for any other help. The manager of the hotel is very good. He is very kind and helpful. Suitable place for family couples or individuals for reasonable prices.

Rooms were clean and neat. Value for me. I would suggest to visit this hotel only if u get any good discounts in travel partner websites. I booked 3 rooms, check in was at 12pm i reached there at 1230 but rooms were not given to us they took another 30 minutes to give 2 rooms. I said i will take the other room around 4pm, however when I asked for the key to another room at 7pm they again took 45 minutes to provide which was really frustrating. Key was not working for the room properly, had to leave the room unlocked before went out. Parking is worst.

The hotel is in a very convenient location - a 5 minute walk from Ranganathan Street in T.Nagar, Chennai. I chose this hotel for a quick shopping trip in Chennai, and I stayed alone in the hotel and they allowed me to do early check-in and late check-out too. From reception to all staffs are very friendly and supportive. The hotel rooms are average to below average. Some of the rooms look ok, and some simply run down. I took an AC single room in this hotel. They don’t provide daily room cleaning service, if you request, they will send some one to clean the room. Bed which I got in my room was fine only issue I had been AC remote was not worked properly after informing they replaced new remote. This property is worth for people who travel to Chennai for shopping. Will visit again definitely & highly recommend for others.

The service rendered by the managers and staff was exemplary during our stay. The rooms were very clean, tidy and maintained well on a daily basis. The communication between staff was very courteous, polite and helpful. Top-notch hotel and highly recommended.

Reasonable Budget hotel, the room size is too small. Washrooms are not so clean, just manageable. Pictures shown are one renovated floor but remaining rooms are not alike don't assume the same room as shown in pictures. Location point of view it is very close to market place, no need to depend on Transportation, all are in walkable distance.

Very nice stay. Rooms were clean and hotel staff was friendly. They have lunch and dinner room service but no dine in option. Hotel is at perfect location having access to everything and near to famous tirumala temple T nagar.

Still wondering how this hotel has got such high reviews. Firstly, this place has parking spots for couple of cars only. If that's full, you may have to park on the street. We stayed for couple of days in December. We initially got a room, which was having very bad odor. Requested for a room change and was given another room which was stinking with Cigarette smell. Asked for a change again and this time they gave a room which was freshly painted. The paint smell was causing suffocation. Couldn't stand there for more than few minutes. And finally, couple of hours after check-in, we got another room, which was quite decent. The room was spacious, but the windows were broken, no water pressure in the bathroom. The whole corridor was stinking with Cigarette smell. Some sort of renovation was going on and the whole place was a mess. I would not recommend this hotel for families. For the price that we paid, this room is definitely not worth. Only positive thing is the manager Mr. Althaf who was very helpful and accommodating.

The K11 hotels located in prime place of T Nagar and very near to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are very clean and neat. Service is good. Offering good complimentary breakfast if you are given option while booking. Hotel staff and reception is very cooperative. They allow early check-in subjected to availability of rooms. It is highly recommended for business and solo travelers. Suits for couples stay also. Budgetary hotel in T Nagar.

The staff was very kind. They empathetised that that the lack of hot water in the hotel caused me cold and fever. They kindly offered warm soups and food from their end and helped me recover for the entire duration of the stay. It's good and the ambience matters.. spacious rooms and I took a junior suit room which is really spacious and clean.. they do house keeping every day and what even u want they help u with it.. the front desk people are not rude. At the same not so friendly too. They do things when u call and ask them.. but overall room is really good.
