A temple built beneath rocks. A peaceful environment surrounds the temple, giving great vibes. There is a trail adjacent to temple entrance, it leads to the rocks above gives a spectacular landscape of western ghats and villages below. Got lost in the woods many a times trying to reach the summit. Please don't loiter around the place, it's not your home or a picnic spot.

Fantastic place. It shows us how small we are when we stand in front of it. It has a history of more than 2500 years ago when a yogi incorporated some energies here like vanadurga, guruji, and other shakthi's in the cocoon of this kallu. Even today some people are doing their sadhana here. We climbed to the topmost of this rock and everything looks awesome. There are many rock tops we can climb. But climbing to the highest top of the rock is very eisky and dangerous. Dont try to climb it alone.

KanajeKallu is the best place for trekking. Upto temple the is way steps to come up, and the temple is small and good. You can rest for few minutes over there and then you can go to the top of the KonajeKallu if you are willing to. And there is a way up where you can reach the top. Don't ask the batru of temple(Pandit) for the route. He says to go straight upwards and u will find a rope where you can claim and reach to top. If you are confident then you cloud go there because it takes less time. If not you could go from backside which is quite far and bit safe😅. Get the shoe's with good grip because it's steep as you climb higher. It takes hardly one hour to climb to the peek. It's fun going with your friends. Once you make you be seeing heaven(ya I haven't seen heaven but😅). So one who love trekking or like having half day trekking it's the best u should go once. Awesome place to trek! Very natural, untouched, especially as you go further! Be careful tho, won't recommend for middle aged or older people. Get plenty of water while going,and wear shoes.. And yes, you dont need to carry a brick kept near the entrance, just go! Go with a group, I don't recommend going alone..

A bliss for devotees and also a short and beautiful trekking place ,nearly 6 km from Moodabidri.Walk is approximately for 30 minutes to reach the temple. The temple is on the midway to the top and it is in a huge cave. Its very difficult if you want to reach the top because you have to climb through the rocks and is slippery during rainy season.Do carry water and snacks because there is only one shop there nearby.Calm and peaceful place; suitable for meditation.Beautiful scenery too.

It is a very beautiful Temple located at a height. We have to trek few minutes to get there (30 min approx). It is made from rocks. The view from The Temple is just awesome. The people there are very friendly. The gave us refreshments and also offered us lunch. One of the rishi took us to the peak and showed us the best routes to the top.

This place is located very near to Moodabidri town. From the main road you can take locals assistance to reach the parking lot at the bottom. It a decent trek with a recognisable path way. Path till the temple is very easy trek. If you want to go beyond the temple its pretty tricky and steep rocky climb. The panoramic views of the western ghats are amazing.
