Visited many times when i stayed at Adyar. Observed that waiters use Ganesh, chaini kaini kind of stuffs and there's no cleanliness while serving. They outrightly demand tips even when you're a daily visitor and on subsequent visits. Upon questioning the owner whether he doesn't pay much and on the attitude and cleanliness of waiters the owner felt helpless and said even though he pays waiters more and insists waiters not to demand tips from customers they repeat the same. He also said i won't get labourers easily and therefore losing customers because of their behaviour. And on the personal hygiene of waiters the owner said he can't do anything. Poor owner. If you wish to have an unhygienic food, visit at your own risk.

Udupi hotel in and around Adyar. If you want to try Authentic Udupi style sambar you got to try here atleast once.You will love it.Signature dish is Sambar Idly. Other than that all food which got served was good. Nice place for tiffin.

Great food and standard very good as always...

Food items are good. Infact their Sambar has a unique taste which gives their Idly a upper hand. Pricing too is pocket friendly. Major drawback is the behaviour of servers who serve. They only respond if your order list is bigger keeping tips in the mind. In case you go for UPI payments or don't pay the tip, the server starts getting upset with the customer. Every single time they need the tip. Better to go for a parcel from here instead.

Lakshmi Sagar is famous for their sambar so must try here is sambar idly, vada sambar and remaining dishes are average only. One of the old hotel in adyar and the dishes are bit pricy for middle class people like me😁.

Went there for a quick breakfast. Had idli, dosa and tea. All of them were very good. Everything was served hot and the taste was also very good. Budget friendly and easily accessible.

Only go to this hotel if u don't have any other choice or only come to eat sambhar rice and chapati. Other than that, it's really worst. User experience. Atleast go to sri krishna pure veg which is in kasturibai nagar. Worth to go.

Tasty and affordable restaurant. I took breakfast here…. Much recommended for breakfast. The service and ambience is also good considering the amount you pay for the food. There are many special options available in the evening. No parking available as it is in the main road. One can find parking at the side roads available near the restaurant

Seems good and budget friendly. Tried this place soon after Adyar Sree Bhavan which was bad...lot of crowd here... Food was fresh... if you are hungry and want to eat and if you are in the area... it is a good choice.

A big fan of theory sambar idli and parotta kurma. Reasonable price and wow taste. While typing this review i started to dream about the taste of that grinded spl sambar. Try out this hotel.

Going there from 2006.. Still same stable food and menu :).. With so many food craze joints.. This refreshing old style mangalore food is good. Would visit every weekend I guess

Udipi style restaurant in the busy LB road. The food here tastes good, and will be in authentic Udipi style.

Small dine in place where you get traditional South Indian tiffin items. Their Sambar and chutneys stands out and its gentle on stomach, not spicy at all.
