Beach that is calm and well-kept. Stunning panorama. In Kerala, the fifth-largest beach. In the front, a fast attack ship used by the Indian navy is kept for display. Beach is kept spotless. Visit after sunset. You can see the sea bridge's iron pillars. There are tiny shops selling ice cream and refreshments, as well as little hotels. There is a play area for kids. The beach has lavatory facilities. Even though there are lifeguards on duty, swimming is not recommended. provides ample parking. Paid restrooms, park admission costs, small stores, and parking spaces.

Alleppey Beach or Alappuzha is also called "The Venice of India" is an extraordinary beach situated in Kerala. It is one of the most loved tourist place of India. People from all over the country come to visit and enjoy here. Summer time is best time to come. Neat and clean place and environment is also so pleasurable. Thanks and Regards.!!

Calm and neatly maintained beach. Beautiful view. Indian naval fast attack craft (boat) is kept for display in the front. Beach is kept clean . Visit in the evening. You can view iron pillars of sea bridge. There are small stalls selling snacks & ice cream & also small hotels are there. Kids play area is there. Washroom facilities is there in the beach. Although life guards are there getting into water is not advisable.Has good parking space.

Very beautiful beach on the coast of Alleppey. The best part is one can njoy house boat in the back water as well as spare some time for the beach. Another thing about the beach is that, being on the west coast of India, sunset is observed later than the east coast. This also means that in the east coast the sunrise is more beautiful and in the west coast sunset is more beautiful. Overall clean beach and a bit crowded too.

One of the beautiful beach I have seen. The beach is kept clean. There are guards to oversea people. Beach is pretty neat and clean no plastics or any other wastes. Paid Toilet, entrance fee for park, small shops, parking facilities. The Toilet is kept neat and clean. They charge 5 to 20 for using Toilets. Park is pretty good for children to enjoy. There is a battle ship used in 1999 to 2020 placed in the center of the beach a historic one. The beach is crowded and after 5pm we can enjoy the sunset🌅

It was the best sunset experience in all of Kerala! So so beautiful! It's just bliss standing on the shore and watching that glorious ball of light disappear and darkness slowly enveloping the place, it's so many shades of yellow and orange and red and gray and blue that you won't ever be able to get enough of the scenery <3🥺

Beautiful beach centrally located, the best part of the beach is it is clean Nominal parking charges are charged There is a monument placed (ship) which is a good site Some random hawkers are moving around but they are not pushy ones. Overall a good place to sit and relax and enjoy the Waves

Fantastic experience! I really enjoyed each and every second I spent at this beautiful beach. The roaring sounds of the sea waves are still echoing in my eardrums. Similarly, even now I can feel the touch and hugs of the wet wind blown from the sea towards the shore. My visit to this beach will definitely remain with me as an unforgettable memory of my life.

Beautiful beach. It's quite spacious and have amazing parking facilities all for free. The view is great. They have well equipped lifeguards all roaming the beach line every minute. Also the security is great with Policemen and She-police at your call.

People mostly visit the beach for spending their leisure time with some fun and happiness. There are really cool and good breeze there that will make you cheerful and keep your mind calm. Sea helps us to become broad-minded and think bigger. That’s why everyone should visit the beach. A few weeks ago I have been there with a few of my friends. I am going to explain that experience here with you.

As everyone knows, this is one of the famous beaches in Kerala. Sunny weather most of the time. Peaceful mornings and crowded evenings. The octopus made from plastic waste is such a nice idea to make an awareness in the people. Best for family, friends and couples. Most of the time the sea is calm and not dangerous. A very nice place to visit in Alappuzha.

Alappuzha Beach is a serene and beautiful destination. The sandy shores and the sound of the waves create a tranquil atmosphere. The sunset views are breathtaking, and watching the sun go down is a must-do activity. The beach is clean and well-maintained, and there are various recreational activities available. The presence of food stalls and vendors adds to the overall experience.

It's ok... not exactly very clean ... Just walk around the open beach area only... If u go further there's poop lying everywhere.... Kids and fitness freaks will be working out here and there. Mornings are better and less crowded.

The silent killer ♥️ Loved the ambience here. It's been one of the biggest and beautiful beaches in Kerala where we can spend our evening's worthy with a caffeine and some family bites !!! It's also a very lovely place for the couple's and Honeymooners... If you are coming for a trip to Alappuzha, there's something more here like Vembanad lake boating, Pathiramanel Island, Arthungal Church, Beach Light House, Thumpoly beach, Revi Karunakaran Museum... I would prefer 2 day and 1 night trip. Day 1 you can spend time for sight seeing around the city including Pathiramanel Island and you can stay at house boats it's been calm, lovely night with no tensions or else... Second day you can explore the beautiful architecture of temples and churches built years ago. And you can explore some museums here and finally you can get relaxed at the shore with a sip of odd memories !!! Adarsh Kannampunchayil ♥️🔰

Just a simple small beach... the sand was whiter than other beaches... the view was very good... refreshments were available at the entry... plastics were prohibited completely which was a commendable effort and that makes the place kept clean...

Well, it was a quite good ambiance in this beach and I love the eve of the beach. The positive aspects of the beach were firstly, the cleanliness was quite amazing. Secondly, the lengthy enough to explore. Thirdly, the sea foods and hotels were quite nice, though the price was a little high. Finally, the view of by-pass was nice to watch and it was colorful. Totally, it is a worth visiting beach in Kerala.

Mostly crowded. The place lacks seatings to take a rest. Otherwise, the beach is quite big. Good to take photos, enough parking space available. Nearby hotels and snack bars are available. Calming too watch sunset. Don' t prefer day times, instead choose evenings and night too enjoy.

Alleppey beach in the Alappuzha town of Kerala is a famous beach, which attracts hundreds of tourists every day. Alappuzha is well-known for its huge network of freshwater rivers, meandering lakes, and lagoons. The beach is famous for its peaceful shores, white sands, and arrangement of palm trees. The natural beauty of this beach, with a wide variety of flora and fauna found around it, makes the place an admired picnic spot for the locals, as well as, the tourists. At the beach, there is an old pier, which goes right into the sea and is believed to be around 140 years old. The pier in the Alappuzha Beach allows visitors to stroll over the playful waves and get soaked with the enchanting beauty of the Arabian Sea. Moreover, there is also an old lighthouse near the Alleppey beach, which is also a good tourist attraction. On the beach, you can enjoy water activities like boating, parasailing, kayaking, and much more. If you are not much into water activities, you can unwind under the palm groves or picnic near the beach. When on the beach, you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset and mesmerize the beauty of the surroundings. Known for swaying beauty and alluring charm, Alleppey India Beach is one of the most scenic places in Alappuzha district that entices a large number of visitors who flee to Alleppey to enjoy the backwaters.

Alappuzha Beach, also known as Alleppey Beach, is a picturesque coastal destination in Kerala, India. With its golden sands, serene backwaters, and stunning sunsets, it offers a tranquil escape for travelers. The beach is dotted with swaying palm trees and has a long, meandering pier that adds to its charm. While it's not ideal for swimming due to strong currents, it's a great place for leisurely walks, picnics, and enjoying the local seafood served by nearby stalls. The beach is also a gateway to the famous backwaters of Kerala, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking a blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences.

This is one of the most famous beaches in Alleppey. I visited this on 31st December, 2023. It was very crowded at that time as some festivals were going on so lots of music, performances, and stalls were there. This is very near to the famous light house.

Very neat and clean beech, it's even better than some of the beaches in Goa. Less crowded. But there were to shaks or chairs that people can sit and relax, very less shops, it may be because of covid, but government should improve this further in terms of facilities washroom and services. But overall it's one of the cleanest beach I have visited so far,

This is one of the most beautiful beach in India. It's very peaceful there. The beach has a long stretch of might be a kilometre. I went there around January. At that time the temperature is little soothing. Otherwise it's always summer there. I have noticed this beach is still virgin. It has not turned vulgar yet so you can travel with family (especially kids and senior citizens. Prefer to stay in a beach side hotel. Also kindly keep it clean. It is healthy and it will refresh your mood. Whether it's morning or night, it always looks beautiful. By air, Cochin is the nearest airport.

To find peace and have a serene beauty all in a single place then one must definitely visit here. The sun sets are eye candy not only for children but also for elders. The clear water and its warmth soothes the mind as well as the heart. Though it is one of the busiest beaches in kerala with all the hawkers and the visitors yet one can find his own place here to do whatever he want to do. This picture perfect beach is worth more than 1000 pics because in every frame one can find something unique. The old broken sea bridge reminds us about the past and the british era. This is my happy place

The speciality of this beach is, its calm and without much attracting luxuries attractive in its natural beauty. The flood of people visiting here on week days is enough to prove that the beach is worth the visit. The 800m of beach place would easily make you engaged. Sunset is the best to visit here.

Alappuzha beach has pretty much nothing special than the other ones. But on the other hand, the attraction here is the vast shore and the rusty, fragmented trail of poles which adds up to the vintage feel. The beach is not that crowded so you can have yourself some privacy if you need and of course, the best time to visit is after 5 PM. But the beach, kind of, gets crowded by then. FYI, You'll get to see some fishing boats scattered across the ocean by dusk. • Major Attraction • Must-visit • <₹

A place with alot of culture and heritage, talking about the beach, it's a long white sand beach and the coast distance is almost 15 metres. It's really a good place to sit and have a leisurely evenings with family and friends.

Often called as the ‘Venice of the East’, Alappuzha Beach is one of the most exotic beach destinations in the country. The charms of Alappuzha have allured visitors since the time immemorial as the place has almost everything to delight the heart of a traveler. Besides the excellent beaches, Alappuzha is famous for its exciting boat races, backwater holidays, the flourishing coir industry and excellent marine products. However, what steals the show at this incredible location is the memorable houseboat cruises. The modern versions of the Kettuvallam of the olden times, these houseboats now come lined with state of the art luxury and elegant services such as furnished bedrooms, embellished living rooms, modern and clean toilets, a kitchen and also a balcony to enjoy the views and to give you a unique experience of the remarkable backwaters of the Kerala. Alappuzha Beach is nevertheless a popular picnic spot for the locals as well. There is an old pier at the beach, which extends right into the sea and is said to be about 137 years old. Besides an old lighthouse that stands nearby, is also a considerable attraction. The best time to visit Alappuzha beach is from October to February.

Nice ambience Beautiful beach. It's quite spacious and have amazing parking facilities all for free.large sand field, old sea bridge are the major attractions. the another major highlight of this area. Wide beach area helps to arrange beach games like beach volleyball and swimming. The sunset view is also the best. Lots and lots of Tourists Comes every day...

This beach is indeed closest to railway station and there are amazing stays near this place. Place is safe, since there is a police station near by and also police patrol frequently. However, one thing I really disliked is the access to dustbins. Since there are no dustbins, people tend to leave all the trash in the beach and eventually polluting the beach and shore. Request the local municipality to take care of this concern.

The beach in Alappuzha town is beautiful. But, most beautiful beaches near to small villages like Mararikylam, chethi are more beautiful than. So it would be great if U hire a cab and visit such virgin beaches. +Ve of Alappuzha beach Easy access from road. Ample parking space. Clean -ve Swimming is not advisable

Beautiful beach with nice ambience. The beach is well clean today. I can't find no waste today the beach is developing day by day. Only one thing I disappointed about is that the floating bridge. It didn't get approval we were really expected to see and enjoy it but the team that bring floating bridge they quit from here with their business. Otherwise this beach is very beautiful and happy to watch sunset from here

Very calm and peaceful atmosphere in the beach. One of the best beaches in kerala. Beach has an old pier which extend to sea is over 150 years old. Many events host here annually like Alappuzha beach festival, Sand art festival, new year celebration and more. Sunset is what make the beach one of the best places to visit in Alappuzha.

Not at all crowded with some restaurant options also there. If you want to catch the glimpse of fishermen going on about with daily business, then I would recommend to visit between 10:30 AM to 12 PM. It’s fascinating seeing them work as a team to get the boat from the sea to the beach and filter out the fishes that they would sell later in the day. Parking is not a problem. Plenty of space is available.

It's a pretty vast shore. The beach is clean and you will love spending time there. There aren't many shops for snacks or so. However there are some prominent food joints nearby the beach. It's a calm and serene shore .

Alappuzha Beach is a hidden gem nestled on the beautiful coastline of Kerala, and my recent visit left me spellbound. Offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, serene surroundings, and cultural experiences, this beach is truly a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. As I strolled along the pristine sandy shore, I was captivated by the breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The vast expanse of shimmering blue waters, coupled with the gentle sea breeze, created a sense of tranquility that instantly washed away the stresses of everyday life. The beach's cleanliness and well-maintained surroundings added to its appeal, making it an ideal spot for leisurely walks or simply lounging by the shore. Alappuzha Beach is not just about its picturesque setting; it also offers a glimpse into the local culture and traditions. The vibrant fishing community and their colorful boats dotting the shoreline create a picturesque sight. Watching the fishermen skillfully maneuver their nets and going about their daily routines was a truly authentic experience. One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing the mesmerizing sunset. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky transformed into a mesmerizing canvas of vivid hues, painting a breathtaking spectacle that left me in awe. It was a moment of pure serenity and beauty that I will cherish forever. The beach also offers various recreational activities for visitors to enjoy. From camel rides along the shore to indulging in delicious local street food, there is something for everyone. Additionally, the beach is home to the famous Alappuzha Beach Festival, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of Kerala through traditional dance, music, and art. Furthermore, Alappuzha Beach is conveniently located near other popular attractions such as the backwaters and houseboat cruises, allowing visitors to explore and make the most of their time in this enchanting region. In conclusion, Alappuzha Beach is a true gem that combines natural beauty, cultural experiences, and a sense of tranquility. Whether you're seeking relaxation, a glimpse into local life, or simply a breathtaking sunset, this beach has it all. If you find yourself in Kerala, a visit to Alappuzha Beach is an absolute must-do. It was on a monsoon day the sea was turbulent and roaring.

This is the best & clean beachfront in kerala state of India, must visit in evening hours for a beautifull view of sunset over looking Arabian sea

This beach needs visionary ideas like Swacha bharath abhiyan and awareness drive to people and vendors who have shops on the beach. The water is dirty over there and smell is very stinky but you just go to see the beach. I don't recommend this beach with family and children. It's painful to see nature in this shape, please act - people of kerala 🙏
