This beach is indeed closest to railway station and there are amazing stays near this place. Place is safe, since there is a police station near by and also police patrol frequently. However, one thing I really disliked is the access to dustbins. Since there are no dustbins, people tend to leave all the trash in the beach and eventually polluting the beach and shore. The water is dirty over there and smell is very stinky but you just go to see the beach. I don't recommend this beach with family and children. It's painful to see nature in this shape, please act - people of kerala 🙏
