Did not have a good experience at all. i was hurting from an upper respiratory infection, and i my pain tolerance is low. i was crying and even gagged a few times and the nurse at the front desk came in and asked me to calm down. and the nurse (Nicole Landry) who treated me was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me the entire time. Overall i will never be going there again. iā€™m extremely mad about how me and my gf got treated. They donā€™t even deserve that one star.

I called about 6:15 just to inquire if they had a Rapid Covid test. Before I could finish my sentence the lady on the phone saidā€¦. Yes we do, but we about to close up, we done finished talking patients and we are going homeā€¦. Wowā€¦. When people call to inquire they are already upset, tired and sick. To be met with a rude response is unacceptable. I understand if youā€™re arenā€™t taking anymore patients but to cut me off and ramble off all this and that was completely uncalled for. My advice get some costumer service training. You are the face of the company and being treated like that Iā€™ll find somewhere else to go.

I would like the owner to call me. I was lied to about my care. Seems the owner ā€œapologizesā€ a lot but nothing actually changes. Wish I would have read reviews. First time ever having the issue I had and I was uneducated about it and nervous. The nurses were awesome and so sweet. The NP however barely did any type of assessment. That wasnā€™t the biggest issue as I know it is a walk in clinic. She barely left me time to answer her questions and she was so insensitive and was running out the room while I was trying to inquire about treatment and what I should be doing. I had to ask a medical question as she was walking out while she was holding the door open. That is a HIPPA violation of my privacy. Then after telling them my pharmacy three times my medication was still being sent to a place that was closed on the weekend and I needed relief. Which is why I wanted sent to one thatā€™s open on weekends! Thank goodness I paid attention cause she clearly didnā€™t. Peoples health shouldnā€™t just be a paycheck. Taking a few minutes to listen to a concerned patient is what a healthcare professional should be doing. I am only giving 2 stars because the nurse was so polite. I work in a family clinic as an LPN and I know what happens behind the scenes. However, I was the first and only patient so this was totally unacceptable.

Went back to this place for a second time because they were great with my son the first time we went. I will never go back again. There is a reason they never have a wait or people in the parking lot. I gave them my sons DOB as he had been seen there before and they said they couldnā€™t find him in the system. Then the dr from the back asks what is wrong with him. When I tell his symptoms and that he is under two she tells me well heā€™s under two so you should just go to the er.. okay but for what. They did even look at him just said go to the er, if he was that bad I would have gone there first.

I was asked if my son had any allergies, specifically drug allergies. I said yes, and told them what he was allergic to. The nurse practitioner then prescribed him the drug he is allergic to. What's worse is when she came in to give me the scripts, she placed them on the counter, didn't tell me what she prescribed, said have a good day, and disappeared. When I read over the scripts and saw that she gave him a medication he is allergic to, I brought it back to the front desk and had to wait an additional 20 minutes for her to change it because she was already in with a new patient. I understand that she was trying to see patients quickly, but this type of mistake can cause serious repercussions to patients. Luckily, I thought to double check the RX. Some patients have full trust in Healthcare professionals and could have easily given their child a medication that causes an allergic reaction. This was not okay, and no apology was even given for the mistake.

The staff was discussing inappropriate topics around their patients. This is not a safe space for LGBTQ patients at all and they are proud to say so. Especially someone named Blair Boudreaux. We all have free speech, but there is a time and place, and this is not the time nor place.

Just left this place a few minutes ago, the receptionist was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable, her attitude was very pleasant, but OMG that nurse Landry was horrible, bedside manner#0, sheā€™s in the wrong profession, all she wants to do is sit, I pray that the shot she gave me works, her answer to each of my questions was I donā€™t know, I really was nervous about her giving me an injection but I needed the relief, when my Achilles tendon acts up thatā€™s the only thing that works, and I had to almost demand that, she never made eye contact with me , I wouldnā€™t recommend this place , I doubt that sheā€™s going to change her ways anytime soon, sheā€™s really in the wrong profession, needless to say the shot of water or whatever she gave me did nothing, I just donated $108 to her, please donā€™t go to this place ever

Maxim Health Urgent Care in Hammond is the worst. For starters, they don't do X-rays on the weekend as the tech is not there. If that is how it is, then put it on y'alls website. Furthermore, the tech is not going to be in until Tuesday. Last I checked, Friday and Monday are considered weekdays. In addition, you don't just need an x-ray on weekends. You can have a break or a fracture on weekends too. Even though we came in 30 minutes before closing, I understand that people wanna get off work, but technically y'all are still open for 30 more minutes and you are a Healthcare provider. Also, fix your phone system. Whenever you call there, there is a loud buzzing noise and both parties can barely hear each other. I barely got out of them what time they closed but when I asked about the x-ray, they hung up as they couldn't hear me. We stepped in there one time and never look to come back
