We had a wonderful time at Little Agave, which Ben and Neil have prepared with great care and attention to detail. It is the perfect place if you are looking for some peace and quiet away from it all. The two are wonderful and warm hosts who are very present and always provide their guests with good tips and recommendations. We can unreservedly recommend this accommodation and will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Ben and Neil's idyll - the perfect hosts they have created a slice of paradise. It's the ideal place to unwind - gorgeous gardens and pool area with amazing views of the desert & mountain landscape. If you sit on their patio and look out with your morning coffee to the wildness and beauty of the Cabo de Gata you can feel yourself decompress.. The pool was a great temperature and beautifully and tastefully designed - as is the whole place. We loved our room and morning breakfast hamper delivered to our outdoor space. Having breakfast and being visited by adorable Arthur (the resident dog) was a perfect start to a day of adventures in this amazing landscape..Thanks so much for all your recommendations, we would love to come back! Little Agave is in a beautiful spot. It's a peaceful and a very special place to unwind and enjoy the national park and the local villages and pristine beaches. Ben and Neil have created such a stylish home and garden. The guest rooms are excellent with great beds and showers and lots of thoughtful details that make this such a great place to stay (lovely pool, delicious breakfast, tips on where to eat and the local beaches). We have visited twice and we'll be back many more times. One of our absolute favourite holidays. You'll love it!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Little Agave. A gem in the south of Spain, you feel a million miles away from everywhere. Spend the morning in the desert by Little Agave’s pool, and within a 10-minute drive, you are lying down on a beautiful, wild beach that’s a stone’s throw from Africa. Everything at Little Agave is designed to perfection, thanks to the lovely, welcoming owners Ben and Neil, who put their unquestionable taste and talents into creating a perfect oasis. With only 4 rooms, no detail has been spared, including a charming breakfast basket delivered to your terrace! Little Agave feels both private and intimate, while Ben and Neil have a fantastic list of vetted recommendations, from beaches to tapas to coastal hikes. Next time you are thirsting for some sun, do yourself a favour by staying at Little Agave.

It is a pleasure to review this 'haven' . We wanted to treat ourselves to a tranquil, serene break away... with beautiful scenery, where we could relax in a lovely environment, and we were not disappointed! Little Agave is a treasure! Ben and Neil are the most welcoming, genuine, caring hosts we have ever met. They've worked so hard to create their beautiful space and to share it with those of us fortunate to visit! The decor, and facilities are top spec, tasteful and still feel like 'home'. The breakfast hampers are fabulous. It is HOT there.... which we love. We saw chamleons, lizards and beautiful birds. The dogs that live there are gorgeous too.. the cheeky young 'Beatle' and the gorgeous gruff 'Arthur'... who is sooo sweet. Thanks again Neil and Ben... you are amazing! If you are 'thinking' about booking.... don't hesitate! 😊

Can not recommend highly enough. Stunning rooms, super comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. Clean spacious bathroom with large shower, great water pressure. The pool is very refreshing and the outside area is an awesome spot for a morning coffee or beer at the end of the day. The hot tub is a real treat, especially on a clear night, when you can see the cosmos in full glory. Located a short drive to San Jose with a decent selection of bar and restaurants to keep you satiated for a week. Almeria is not too far, 25 mins, and has an amazing selection of tapas bars, which Ben and Neil provided some superb recommendations. Local beaches are as you'd expect, fantastic, and we had a few inland hike with the stunning scenery, flora and fauna. Will definitely be back and booking in early as Ben and Neil give the holiday a real X-Factor as hosts.

A total delight! We stayed for a week at Little Agave and wish it could have been longer. Ben and Neil (not to mention Beetle and Arthur) are wonderful hosts. More like a private hotel than a B and B as there is a wonderful small pool and many seating areas. Quiet spot at the end of a track that captures the sun and is very relaxing. Breakfast, which changes, in a good way, every day, is served in hampers on your terrace/in your room so the whole experience is personal and feels bespoke. There is a well stocked and good value drinks fridge on the main terrace. Ben was very helpful and enthusiastic in pointing out local beauty sports, walks, restaurants. The park (Cabo de Gata) proper is stunning for cycling or walking or beachcombing especially out of season - amazing to be in the sunniest part of Spain without developments, or crowds. The walk from Playa Monsul to Genoveses is a must do. Some very good local bars and restaurants - we preferred the smaller villages such as La Isleta and nearby Pozo del Los Frailes (with wonderful Bar Treze and La Galletina) to San Jose and Las Negras but they were still worth a visit.

Lovely stay despite not the best weather. They really are incredible hosts and complete naturals at what they do. Was lovely being at their oasis and we will definitely be staying again when next visit the area. Thanks so so much. Alex/John

We just spent a couple of nights at Little Agave. It’s a hidden eco-friendly gem of a place and a super relaxing and tranquil spot to wind away a few days. Ben and Neil are fantastic hosts; friendly, helpful and all round lovely people. Having San Jose just ten minutes drive away is perfect for local dinner options and bars but far enough away to mean you sleep soundly surrounded by cacti!
