BEDBUGS!!!! In the middle of the night they crawled out from behind the pillows! 4 am change to another room with no explanation or concerns. Manager at first refused to refund our money. Offered a spa date or a coffee. We refused to leave until she agreed to the refund. Explained that their exterminator company said we might have a blood type that would bring out dormant bedbugs. Preposterous explanation and victim blaming. It’s a chain and we have not even been contacted by anyone in the Catalonia Hotel corporation. Never ever again. RUN!!!!!

Very nice, clean and modern hotel. They have a restaurant downstairs with friendly service and good food. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the reception. Even though we wrote that we would like to have a higher and quiet room, they gave us totally the opposite. A very noisy room, on the first floor, right next to the bus stop, with a very noisy sewage system. You could hear every drop of water falling from the higher floors right next to the bedroom. When we complained about it; the guy acted like he was looking in his computer and said; oooh sorry, we are fully booked. We could totally see that he was acting. That's why if you get the room 119, just refuse it right away. Otherwise it will be a hell of a night! We even made some sound recordings of the sewage and let our friends in travel agencies to know about it.

They towed our car! We were guests of the hotel and already the service, customer service, and the behavior of the staff was appalling to say the least. Everyone was rude and didn’t want to be there and they didn’t care, acted inconvenienced that we didn’t speak Spanish. Moreover, it’s so noisy. At 5 am we would not be able to continue sleeping because of all the traffic outside. And to top it off, they had the audacity to TOW OUR CAR parked in a parking spot outside the hotel. IMAGINE THAT! A hotel towing their own customers’s car. We had to pay €106 to get our car back. Never will I ever stay at this hotel again. After traveling to 40+ countries, this is one of the worst experiences I’ve EVER had. I’ll be sure to tell my entire, sizable audience about what how petty you are.

Stayed here 1 night en-route to Valencia. Booked the corner room direct with the hotel, as this was the best price. The room was immaculately clean, with extra additions - bathrooms, slippers, 2 x cava vouchers, tray of fruit and cava (with setting up an account on their website).. Although the temperatures were very hot during the day, we did use the bed on the terrace in the evening. There’s a lovely rooftop pool and bar, although in these temperatures would benefit from more shade. Good location for the centre, about 15 mins walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location close to the train station & a short walk from the cathedral etc. Rooms are clean & modern. Rooftop pool is very small but it has a nice place to relax! Reception staff weren't the most helpful.

Location, reception staff services, and standard room views are not good for the price. WiFi does not work. Annoyingly, you must keep the TV on for wifi-hotspot. Checking out after two nights as we found great options in beautiful historical Granada.

The reception staff was unfriendly with a negative attitude during the check-in. Standard room view is disappointing and we had toiletries enough for 1 person in a double room. The WiFi did NOT work and we were told to keep the TV on--very annoying and disappointing. I'd rather pay a bit more and enjoy historic Granada at a better hotel. Would not recommend to my friends planning to visit.

Shouldn’t be a 4 star hotel. Some reasons: - Our room was dark, had almost no natural light (only window in room was to an internal court with a high building with hanging drying clothes only 3 meters away from us!) - No parking. The hotel does offer a special price in a nearby (300 meters) parking place - so that you pay “only” 15 Euros a day - but nobody told us this when we arrived, so the first night we paid almost 30 Euros for the parking). - Wi-Fi is very bad: disconnects every 10 or 15 minutes. - Service was in general OK (waiters in breakfast room and front desk employees are especially kind and helpful), but our experience was totally ruined on our last day, when we were rudely DENIED water from the gym by one of the SPA personnel (even though I had used it earlier!). A petty and stingy gesture, during one of Spain’s hottest summers. Sadly, this small incident is what we’ll remember from Catalonia Granada (what kind of hotel denies WATER to its guests?)

Terrible stay. The room is dark and very overpriced. Even though asking for a room with terrace directly on the hotels website. All night we had steps on top and furniture moving. There were things missing in the bathroom. Not even soap provided and only towels for one person. For 160€ not even a coffee machine in the room. After complaining not even an apology or compensation. The breakfast is served in a basement. Please don’t go!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Catalonia Hotel in Grenada, Spain and I must say, it was an absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel welcomed and valued as guests. The attention to detail and personalized service truly set the tone for our stay. Throughout our time at the Catalonia Hotel, the staff continued to impress us with their exceptional hospitality. Whether it was the housekeeping ensuring our room was spotless and well-maintained or the concierge providing valuable recommendations and assistance, their genuine friendliness and professionalism left a lasting impression on us. While we didn't have the opportunity to have an evening meal at the hotel, the breakfast spread was absolutely gorgeous. The variety of options, from freshly baked pastries to a wide array of fruits and delicious hot dishes, catered to all tastes and preferences. The high-quality ingredients and the care put into the presentation made each morning feel like a special occasion. Furthermore, the Catalonia Hotel's location in Grenada was perfect for exploring and experiencing the city's charm. It was conveniently situated near various attractions, restaurants, and shops, allowing us to easily navigate our way around and immerse ourselves in the local culture. Overall, I cannot recommend the Catalonia Hotel enough. The friendly and professional staff, coupled with the delightful breakfast offerings, made our stay truly memorable. Whether for a leisurely vacation or a business trip, this hotel exceeded all expectations and left us longing for more. If you're looking for an exceptional experience in Grenada, look no further than the Catalonia Hotel.

I had such a great experience here! I only came to the city to see Alhambra and the Nesrid Palaces but my experience started with Hotel Catalonia from when I checked in I told them that I had to get to Alhambra in an hour and they made sure the room was ready quick enough so that I could make it in time for my reservation there. On top of all that they gave me a free room upgrade with a balcony and terrace that had amazing views of the city! Would come back here definitely the next time I am in Granada

Terrible location and restaurant is not edible unless you like frozen fish and frozen vegetables with no taste. The room with a view I paid for is perfect if you like looking at the clothes hanging to dry from the next building which is all you can see. Room itself was fine but only one small window. No more Catalonia's for me.

Rooms are spacious and clean.Bad Wifi Reception. Option 2 had to keep the tv on always to connect to wifi. Minimum tv channels. Breakfast buffet has a confused set up. Items were not always filled up. Broken plates. No small plates. Coffee machines average quality. Good pancake machine. Friendly front desk staff.

Very central point to stay. Loved the rooms and the bathtub. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi was a little slow. Food is really nice for breakfast and dinner. Cool do come back.

We changed to this Hotel at the last minute of our trip. Rooms were clean. Staff are awesome. We just stayed for a day but very impressed with the hotel.

We stayed here for 3 days with a group of 38 people. The rooms were nicely decorated and had a lovely shower in the bathroom. Excellent breakfast with fresh food. There is a spa that you can use at 15 euro per hour. On the top floor, there is a sun deck with a plunge pool and a bar. A lovely feature of the hotel. The staff in the bar and restaurant were so friendly and hard working. We felt that the breakfast staff were in need of help as there were only 2 of them and they were flat out working. The location of the hotel is about a 15-minute walk to the main centre. What a wonderful city! we loved it and will come back some other time to explore more. The only downside was the view from our room. It looks straight onto an apartment block. Room 402. This stops us from giving a 5 star, but don't let this put you off. The hotel delivers in every other aspect. Who spends all their time in a room with such a great city to explore.

Love this Hotelier but this location’s decor in the rooms felt a little too sterile. IKEA office. Great service, location, breakfast, room service and staff.

We stayed for one night on our last night in Granada. Too bad, because if we had known about this hotel earlier, we would have stayed here for the 4 days. Wonderfully clean and great service from the front desk to the restaurant/bar. Close to train station and restaurants and sites. Highly recommended!

The room, cleaning service and breakfast are excellent. Employees at the reception as well. The spa service makes the bad impression. They tell you that the Spa is charged extra when you are already in the spa. The employee in the spa doesn't know a single word of English and that's why she is very rude, she even shouted at us. Also, it is not professional that the first photo on the website is a spa and that he is charged extra. That is cheating the customer. Very embarrassing for a 4 star hotel. I talked to the boss, but he didn't want to solve the problem. A shame, really.

The front desk and bellhop were great. The bartender was effective but not talkative. The breakfast staff was rude. My room has a view of a brick wall......

Great hotel where you get good care. It was extremely clean, bed was very comfortable, room offered lots of details (good lightning, fridge, coffee, tea, toiletries...) and staff was nice and helpful. One star missing for no wifi connection in our room and disappointment from the spa. It's only finnish and steam sauna and small warm pool. Expected something more. Also shower temperature is not possible to adjust, which is quite needed after sauna session.

The service was great and the staff was really helpful. The rooftop pool was smaller than expected considering the pictures but still great view and a nice experience. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Great value for the money.

I can only agree with the reviews about the noise. Its a nice hotel and good value for money but the noise in the morning is pretty ridiculous. Sleeping in on your holidays is not possible at this hotel but that said, the location is good, about 10 mins walk to city centre. Staff is friendly and the rooms are super clean, I can recommend this to anyone travelling to Granada :)

I think 🤔 it could be a best hotel in Granada I appreciate location as its base in the centre. Inside and the top pool are very good.

Beautiful room. The design is modern and refreshing. Love the floor where it has glitters on the wood/vinyl. The bathroom design is nice too. It is a comfortable room to stay in. We parked at the roadside parking opposite the hotel. There are plenty of parking spots around. We had a good night stay here.

Best stay! Especially for the price. This hotel feels new and clean. The rooms are a good size with a little bit of storage. The bed is super Comfortable with nice sheets and the shower is the best one I’ve encountered in Europe. It’s in a good location with a parking garage across the street. They will discount your ticket for you

Classy hotel! Relatively new and all very neat and clean. We arrived in Granada by train and walked to the hotel (8 min walk). If you’re looking at spending most of your time in the old town, this hotel is a bit of a walk to get there. But if walking and hills don’t bother you, then great value for money. If walking isn’t your thing, the taxi’s a super cheap. Staff here were very helpful and always keen to help guests. Rooftop bar was also great albeit unattended the few times we were up there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Really nice hotel! Very solid 4 star quality. Newer, very clean and well kept. Resonable bed (a little firm for me but not too hard), quality sheets and soft pillows. Windows open. Refrigerator and tea kettle. Bags carried to my room; that's 5 star hotel service. Walls are thin. No trash can except a tiny one in the bath. That's the worst I can say

Very good location, comfortable room, dog-friendly, parking nearby, decent gym. Polite and helpful staff. Really good value for the price we paid.

Quality of the room was good. Other than that, small and disappointing spa, wifi not working. If you go over NYE, don’t have dinner at the hotel, bad overpriced food

I would give 6 stars if I could! Sparkling clean hotel, in a great location. The staff at the reception and at breakfast is extremely nice. The room was huge, with a walk-in closet, a sofa and plenty of space almost as an apartment! I loved spending the night there and the thing that I appreciated more than everything else was the fresh orange juice at breakfast! I almost never find them and I travel a lot within 4 stars hotel! Recommend it thousand times!

Very nice central hotel. Inside there are many corridors with twists and turns. Important to note evacuation routes which are posted on back of bedroom doors. The emergency directions in corridors and at stair wells could be improved.

Overall excellent experience! We stayed for 4 days, the room was great, comfy beds and great bath! We had breakfast a couple of times, buffet style, and it was great value for money! We also tried the spa, again, great value for money, totally recommend it!
