👍👍 This place was amazing. It’s clean. It’s huge. It’s brightly lit. It looks modern and up to date. Their check in process was so smooth and fast. I showed up about 15 minutes early for my appointment and I’m pretty sure the drive from my house to the appointment took longer than the appointment itsel... This place was amazing. It’s clean. It’s huge. It’s brightly lit. It looks modern and up to date. Their check in process was so smooth and fast. I showed up about 15 minutes early for my appointment and I’m pretty sure the drive from my house to the appointment took longer than the appointment itself. I was checked in, headed upstairs to my waiting area and my tush barely hit the seat before they called me back. Took my vitals, asked me some questions said to hang tight, someone from x-ray would be by to take me for films. Door barely closed before x-ray showed up to usher me down the hall. X-rays took all of 5 minutes TOPS! Was brought back to the room and said to wait for the MD to come in and discuss my x-rays and symptoms. Once again, the door had hardly closed before the doctor strolled in. Brief discussion, review of my x-rays, referral for PT and told to hang tight for the scheduler to come in and you guessed it, no sooner had he left the room than the scheduler was in to make my PT appointment. The efficiency, friendliness and professionalism from every single person I encountered on this visit blew me away. I can’t say enough about this place. No one wants to see an orthopedist but if you have to…this is the place to go!

With NM Orthopedics moving from Presbyterian to the Winrock complex, visits are a breeze. Parking is readily available in front of the entrance. Checking in is efficient. There is color coordinated signage to guide you to the designated waiting area for the doctor you are seeing and NO WAIT TIME (unless you arrive early for your appointment). My last 2 appointments were with PAs who were very thorough. Actually showing me the computer screen with images so that I was better informed about concerns. As well as writing information down for me. I am going to be scheduled for a surgery in the next few weeks and I have complete confidence in the process.

First time meeting Dr Power. He was thorough in his explanation of my issue. Listened to what I had to say. Very caring attitude. Suggested treatment and let me decide what treatment I wanted. He set me up for another visit in 6 weeks. Most importantly, he did not treat me like an old lady….which I am. He’s a definite keeper. -Theresa

I loved my PA she was amazing she didn’t rush. She explained everything. She answered all my questions which made me feel super safe. In all decisions that I’m making pertaining to my knees and hip, and let me just tell you for a person who has gotten shot and would not get shot in my knee ever again. I totally trusted her to do it without it being painful and it was exactly that for once when I got those shots, this is the very first time. She did not hurt me at all. I barely felt the need of going in so amazing. Feeling great this morning. Merry Christmas happy Hanukkah and happy New Year’s

NM Orthopaedics was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Power very quickly. Dr. Power took the time to explain my diagnosis, explain my choices, and explain the pros and cons of each choice. The decision about what to do was mine. I really had input in my healthcare. Scheduling at the surgery center was remarkably simple. The procedure went smoothly and I am recovering from surgery now. My pain level is much lower than I expected. Thank you so much to Dr. Power, everyone at the surgery center, and the Staff at NM Orthopaedics. Jay Rodgers

Positive experience all around. I waited less than a minute on the phone, and the scheduler was very empathetic. Check-in was different, and I like it--all the stations are visible to the people waiting, so we can estimate our progress, yet there's enough space that privacy is maintained. The instructions/directions are very clear and rather amusing. Waiting areas are comfortable, allowing patients to be sociable or withdrawn according to our own wishes. Everyone has been good about explaining things step-by-step, in terms I could understand, and ensuring my complete comfort.

I went to this place today I had an appointment they told me to check in by 2pm I didn't get seen until 3pm something the waiting time here is bad after my appointment I went downstairs and waited outside for my ride I was looking inside a shop from the outside which is called the motion shop as I was looking inside the store the employees on the inside started looking at me and staring at me then they lock their door like I was going to steal something from inside the store after that I realized that all the other workers in the lobby area where staring at me so I walked into the lobby area recording and said this after that they called security the native woman was very rude to me this place made me feel very scared this place is very racial be careful if you come to this place and you are a person of color

Wow! 5 stars for Amber Hoffman! She did a great job helping me with stiffness in my neck. She asked good questions, provided helpful information, demonstrated simple exercises for me to do at home, gave me the opportunity to practice them, and--best of all--used manual therapy to provide traction and stretching and kneading to relax the tight muscles and tissues in my neck and shoulders. I was amazed at how effective and long-lasting the results were! Thank you, Amber! One more comment...I was always seen promptly and on time at the Winrock location. The PT staff were all very helpful, including Taylor, who makes the appointments. Great teamwork and service!

When I first started coming here (downtown location) it wasn’t bad, except for the parking. I like the Uptown location better. They made checking in very efficient, even when there is a long line. It is easy to find where you are going by following the color of the rainbow. I am called back at my appointment time. I mostly go for PT and now OT. The therapists are great to work with. They really listen to what my issue is and are good at helping me with my exercises and what works for me.

I had an appointment card for today June 12th at 11am. When I arrived ten minutes early, they told me my appointment was not today, but for June 23rd at 9:55am. I drove 45 minutes to get here today, and have to be at work at 1pm. After looking at my appointment card, they finally agreed to squeeze me in. It is now 11:51 am and I am still waiting. I have called my employer and let them know I will be late. This is unprofessional and unexcetptable, this is horrible for the client to drive this far, take time from your day and make you late for your job because they can't keep accurate scheduling 😕😕😕

Dr John Franco did a excellent job on my shoulder repair I am 100% satisfied. He really seems to enjoy his work and he is confident in himself. It sure does make a difference for me as the patient to feel comfortable. Thank you again and I cant wait to get my knee done. 😊

Dr. Jarrell was great! He was very friendly and willing to explain anything I had questions about. Asked if I understood the plan going forward. Glad that his first choice wasn't surgery to automatically go the surgery route. Hopefully the injections and physical therapy work and he won't need to see me in February, but if I do need to go back I know what our next steps will be. Thank you NM orthopedics! 😊

Initial appointment and experience was excellent. Communicative staff, everyone on the same page, friendly, and competent. Dr Allen was kind and attentive, thorough, and respectful. His dry sense of humor was welcoming and friendly. NM Orthopedics is a large facility. What could have been overwhelming to some, was easy to navigate with the help a lots of staff.

I was referred to Dr. Franco for an evaluation and possible treatment for pain in my right shoulder. The building is new to me and I was impressed. Dr. Franco was great! I felt very comfortable with him. He doesn't come off self-righteous and all knowing. Seems to be a straight shooter. So far, I have had a very good experience here. It's nice to know that they're so nearby. I definitely recommend this place!

I had a great experience today. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful All our very friendly and willing answer questions. Dr. Allen is super. The shoulder injection by Dr Allen was so good. He answered questions about what would have to be done if injections stop working. Would recommend New Mexico Orthopedic highly.

The whole experience was great from the time I walked in the door. She knew what was wrong with me and is helping me with it.

Very thorough examination, including x-rays and consultation. I was given pros and cons of each treatment possibility and wasn’t pressured to make a treatment decision. I will follow up in six months to check on any changes to today’s treatment. A very positive outcome in my opinion.

Kari J Lavigne PAC Is my back doctor, I am in so much pain I can’t sit up. I can not get in to see her until MARCH 1st. That is 3 months out! To see a physician that far out is absolutely ridiculous. I see why so many people head to Central Ave looking for medication to relieve pain, I am in tears I am in so much pain, we are definitely not going to get relief going through the proper channels to see a doctor. I am in pain now and should not have to wait until March to get relief. My advice is to make a appointment weather you need one or not, that way in three months if you don’t need it you cancel it, right after you cancel make another appointment, that way you always have an appointment if you need it. That is what I am doing now on. New Mexico health care is a joke

I've only seen Dr Otero-Lopez for an initial evaluation but he's given me something I had lost ~Hope. Hope is priceless. He's compassionate, thorough, explains the process extremely well.

I went in for a second opinion, but ended up, leaving my old doctor and choosing him. He was professional. He listened, he cared, he was Extremely knowledgeable. He gave excellent responses regarding what he could do for me and left it up to me to choose what was best for me. His options were all great. He gave me a shot, and it did not hurt at all!!!!! I was very impressed with him, and the kindness he showed. I will be back and recommend him to many people that I know as he is an excellent doctor.

I was seen by Natalie Moore PA-C for condition affecting both of my knees. She performed a through review of my X-RAYS, explained the conditions, answered all of my questions in a clear manner and discussed the various options for care. Natalie is an Excellent PA and I appreciate that she and Dr. Kiburz will provide immediate and long term care to ensure the best approach for resolution and maintain quality of life associated with my condition. Best Regards, Paul D Albuquerque, NM

I recently visited NM Orthopedics and had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Newhoff, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Upon entering the office, I was greeted warmly by Alicia, who efficiently handled the check-in process. The entire medical staff showed a true commitment to my well-being with exceptional care, state-of-the-art facilities, and cutting-edge medical technology.

Scheduling an appointment with NM Orthopedics was easy and flexible. I appreciated the reminders of my appointment. I saw the doctor pretty quickly. I was treated with courtesy and respect. He helped allay my fears of what I thought was wrong. I needed an X-ray and it was done at the site. I needed a brace and was fitted with one. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend NM Orthopedics.

This time around, there were different staff(nicer & friendlier). Even the Dr. Pattonson only spent less than 5 minutes with me. The Dr I saw today was patient and cared about my issue and is taking care of my problem. Great service this time around. Thank you afternoon staff. You’re great. And to the guy who checked me in at the front door was so nice he offered Christmas holiday candy canes.

👍👍 My stay from when I came in was very awesome. There was a lot of confusion in the hospital but once I got here the concern for me for my comfort was 1st priority.
